1. 警告
●
ONLY
方向で締め付けを行う。
ONLY
方向の締め付けのみ、 設定したトルク
に達すると 「カチン」 と音と感触が発生しま
す。
ONLY
方向でない場合、 トルクレンチ破
損やねじ破断の原因になる場合があり危険
です。 （図 1）
●「カチン」で締め付けを止める。
「カチン」 の音 ・ 感触が発生した後も締め
付けを続けると、 オーバートルクとなりトル
クレンチ破損やねじ破断の原因となる場合
があり危険です。
●締め付け作業以外は使わない。
本製品は締め付け用トルクレンチです。
●戻しの作業には使わない。
ねじ等の戻しには、 過大なトルクが加わりト
ルクレンチの破損に伴い事故やけがの原因
になります。
●握り部に、油 ･ グリス ･･････ 等が付
着していないこと。
締め付け中に手が滑り事故やけがの原因
になります。
●エキステンションハンドル（PHLE2 タ
イプ）は、確実に取り付ける。
接続が不完全だと落下し、 重大な事故やけ
がの原因になります。
●
亀裂 ･ 傷 ･ 錆が発生していないか確認する。
破損が生じ事故やけがの原因になります。
点検 ･ 修理を受けて下さい。
●高所の使用では落下防止処置をする。
トルクレンチを落下させると、 重大な事故や
けがの原因になります。
●パイプなどを用いてハンドル部を長く
して使用しない。
トルクレンチの破損や精度異常の原因とな
ります。 （図３）
1. Warnings
●Tighten up to
ONLY
direction
Only forcing to
ONLY
direction generates
the "click" sound and feeling. Forcing to
the opposite direction will cause the breakage
failure of a torque wrench or screw. (g.1)
●Stop forcing at the time of "click" feeling
Over-torque, excessive forcing even after
the "click" sound and feeling, is hazardous.
It will cause the breakage failure of a
torque wrench or screw.
●Torque wrenches are designed for
tightening only. They are not intended for
any other use, including loosening.
●Check the handle to make sure it is free
of oil, grease, dirt, or other contaminants.
A slip of the hand can cause injury or
improper tightening.
●Connect an extension handle certainly. If
it is loosening, it will fall and will become a
serious accident and the cause of an injury.
●Examine wrench for cracks, scratches,
rust, or other damage. These can cause
wrench failure and operator injury.
●Do not drop the wrench. Damage to
wrench or injury may result.
●Do not use pipes, cheater bars, or any
kind of extension on the handle of the
wrench. This will damage the wrench, and
result in inaccuracy. (g.3)

2. 注意
●トルクレンチに手力を加えるときは、
弾みをつけたり、体重をかけたり足で踏
み付けない。
破損やボルトからの外れで、 事故やけがの
原因になります。
●最大トルク以上で使用しない。
破損による事故やけがの原因になります。
●トルクレンチにピンの抜けや目盛板が
無い等、欠品があるものは使用しない。
お買い求めの販売店、 又は弊社に問い合
わせ必ず点検や修理を受けて下さい。
●トルクレンチの改造はしない。
改造による強度不足や精度異常が生じ、 事
故やけがの原因になります。
●トルクレンチを落下させたり、強い衝
撃を与えたりしない。
破損や変形が生じ、 精度の劣化や耐久性
が低下し、 事故やけがの原因になります。
●大型のトルクレンチを持って向きを変
える時は、周囲に気を付ける。
事故やけがの原因になります。
●トルクレンチを立てて置かない。
トルクレンチが倒れたり、 落ちたりすると事
故やけがの原因になります。
●トルクレンチの修理部品は東日指定部
品以外使用しない。
トルクレンチの修理をする場合は、 お買い
求めの販売店、 又は弊社に問い合わせ、
必ず東日指定部品を使用して下さい。
2. Do's And Don'ts
●Don't use your weight when using torque
wrench, because this may result in loss of
control, with possible injury is wrench comes
off of the bolt.
●Do use uid and steady motion. Jerking or
unsteady movement may damage the wrench.
●Do inspect the wrench before each use,
and ask a Tohnichi-authorized repair center to
inspect or repair it if any parts are missing or
damaged.
●Don't modify the wrench, or use a wrench
that has any modications except those
approved by Tohnichi. Other modications
will weaken the wrench, or cause inaccuracy,
as well as causing damage or possible injury.
●Do take care to avoid shocks or jolts,
including dropping the wrench. Damage or
deformation may result, and accuracy and
durability will be reduced.
●Do take careful note of your surroundings
when handling a large-capacity torque wrench.
Twisting or falling while using a large torque
wrench can cause injury, possibly serious in
nature, if the user is not alert and careful.
●Do always store the torque wrench
properly. Place it in its original container or a
tool container designed for that purpose, and
never stand it on end. Failure to follow this
advice may result in reduced wrench life, and
increases risk of injury.
●Do use only parts approved by Tohnichi
for repair and maintenance of the torque
wrench. Ask your place of purchase, an
authorized repair center, or contact Tohnichi
for assistance in obtaining parts or repairs.

3. 使用上の注意
●使用前に必ずトルクセットして下さい。
出荷時は任意トルク値になっています。
●目盛は最低目盛より下げないで下さい。
●トルク目盛範囲以外で使用しないで下さ
い。
●トルク単位を間違えないように確認する。
トルク単位を確認してから使用して下さい。
●トルクレンチは水中や海中で使用しない。
内部構造に劣化が生じ、 事故やけがの原
因になります。 もしトルクレンチを水中や海
中に落としてしまったら、 点検や修理を受け
て下さい。
●高所での締め付け作業では、 落下防止
の処置をする。
トルクレンチやソケットを落下させると、 重大
な事故やけがの原因になります。
●有効長線上を握ってトルクをかけて下さ
い。 （図 1）
有効長上を握らないと正しいトルク値が得ら
れません。
● 「カチン」 音がしたら締め付けをやめて
下さい。
更に加えるとオーバートルクとなります。
●狭い所での締付け作業では手やひじに注
意して下さい。 ( 図２)
トルクレンチを作動する時、 周りのものに
手やひじ等をぶつけないようにして下さい。
●トルクレンチをハンマーや、 てこの代わり
に使用しない。
ヘッドやチューブが変形すると作動不良を起
こし、 精度に悪影響を及ぼします。
●円筒部品を締める場合は、 パイプレンチ
部がパイプに対し滑る場合があります。 確
実にパイプを噛み込んでいるか注意して使
用してください。

Proper use of torque wrench
●Check the setting of the wrench before
use. The wrench is set at the minimum torque
setting when shipped.
●Do not set torque below minimunm scale
torque.
●Use the wrench within the scale range.
●Make sure that the proper measurement
unit (kgf.cm, kgf.m, NM, lbf.in, etc.) is used
in setting the wrench.
●Avoid submersion in water. Water will
cause damage to internal components and ruin
the wrench.
●Do not drop the wrench. Damage to wrench
or injury may result.
●The torque wrench handle has an effective-
length mark, which must be used to grip it in
the proper place. Improper grip position will
reduce accuracy.
●A click will signal that the proper amount
of torque has been applied. Pay careful
attention, and stop tightening when the click is
heard or felt.
●Use the torque wrench only where there is
sufcient clearance and freedom of movement.
You may select another wrench, if necessary.
●Never use the torque wrench as a hammer
or mallet.
●Have the torque wrench inspected
periodically by someone qualied for that
purpose to insure accuracy and proper
functioning.

3. 使用上の注意
●定期点検を必ず受ける。
トルクレンチは定期点検が必要です。
●エキステンションハンドルを外して使わない。
有効長線上を握らないと正しいトルク値が
得られません。 （図４）
●力の方向
力の方向はトルクレンチに直角に。
上下左右とも±１５°以内にする。 （図５）
●使用後は、 ゴミ ・ ホコリ ・ ドロ ・ 油 ・ 水
分等の汚れを取り除いて保管して下さい。
汚れがついたまま保管すると、 作動不良、
精度不良の原因となります。
●長期間使用しない場合は、 最低目盛に
設定し防錆油を塗布し、 乾燥した場所に保
管する。
保管方法が悪いと、 精度劣化や耐久性の
低下が早まります。

Proper use of torque wrench
●When tightening cylindrical parts, a
pipe wrench part may be slippery. Please
use carefully whether a pipe wrench bites
certainly.
●Do not use without the extension handle.
Unless operator grips an effective length line
on the handle, the proper torque value is not
acquired.(Fig.4)
●Torque wrenches are required periodical
inspection.
●The loading direction must be at a right
angle to the torque wrench. The tolerance is
plus/minus 15 degrees of horizontal or vertical
deviation. See g. 5.
●Before using or storing the wrench, or
whenever necessary, remove all debris, oil,
water, etc. Keeping the wrench clean will
prolong its life.
●If the wrench must be stored for long
periods, set the wrench at the minimum
torque, apply rust-proong oil, and store the
wrench in a dry place. Improper storage may
cause damage to the wrench, and reduce the
accuracy.

4. PHLE2 の組立・分解
● PHLE2 シリーズは本体とエクステンション
ハンドルが図 6 の様に分離状態にて出荷
しています。 ご使用の前に分解 ・ 組立方
法①と図 7 の手順にて組み立ててください。

組立 ・ 分解方法
①エキステンションハンドルの取り付け
図 7 の (a) ～ (c) の順でエキステンション
ハンドルを取り付けてください。
②エキステンションハンドルの取り外し
図 8 のようにプッシュボタンを押しながらエ
キステンションハンドルを引いて外してくださ
い。
4. Installation/Uninstallation
PHLE2 body and extension handles are
shipped out with separately as Fig.6. Assemble
them referring assembly/disassembly
methods ①and Fig.7 procedures before use.
Installation/Uninstallation
1.Installation of extension handle
Please install the extension handle in the
procedure of Fig.7(a)-(c)
2.Uninstallation of extension handle as
Fig.8. Press the push button and pull the
extension handle.

が嵌っているのを確認してください。

5. トルクセットの方法 5.How to set the torque
ＰＨＬ （50 Ｎ～ 280 Ｎ）
１. ロッカーをゆるめる。 （左回転）
２. 副目盛をまわしてトルクを合わせる。 （主
目盛 + 副目盛） 副目盛を時計回しに回
すと、 トルク値が上がり、 反時計回しに
回すと、 トルク値が下がります。
３. ロッカーをロックする。 （右回転） ロック
の際にロッカピンが当るときはピンの位
置を変えてください。

2. Turn the Supplementary Graduation to
set the torque in reading both main and
supplementary graduation.
Turning it clockwise will increase the torque
setting, and counter-clockwise will reduce it.
3. Tighten the locker. Reposition the pin
when difcult.

ＰＨＬ 420N
１. ロッカーをゆるめる。 （左回転）
２. 副目盛をまわしてトルクを合わせる。 （主
目盛 + 副目盛） 副目盛を時計回しに回
すと、 トルク値が上がり、 反時計回しに
回すと、 トルク値が下がります。
３. ロッカーをロックする。 （右回転） ロック
の際にロッカピンが当るときはピンの位
置を変えてください。

ＰＨＬＥ２ （850N2 ～ 1300N2）
１. エキステンションハンドルを外した状態で
調整ハンドルを回す。 （図 11） 調整ハン
ドルを時計回りに回すとセットトルクが上
昇し、 反時計回りに回すと減少します。
２. セットトルク値は図 12 のように読み取りま
す。 図 12 では 420N ・ m となります。

clockwise increases the set torque, and
turning counter-clockwise reduces it.

6. 使用方法
①トルクのセットをする。
トルクセットの仕方については、 前項をご参
照ください。
②パイプレンチ部分のグリップをまわして、
パイプにしっかりとはさむ。 （図 13）
③トルクレンチを右 （チューブに記載の
ONLY
方向） に回して締付ける。 左方向 （
ONLY
の逆）
に回しても 「カチン」 音はしません。
無理に逆ねじの締付けや、 ねじの戻し方
向での使用は破損の原因となることがあ
ります。
④ “カチン” と音がしたら締付け完了です。
6. Usage
①󲹭Set the proper torque. Refer to "How to set
the torque."
②󲹭Adjust knurl to set proper jaw position.
(Fig.13)
③󲹭Turn the torque wrench clockwise (
ONLY
direction on the tube) to fasten the bolt.
When you turn it counterclockwise (opposite
direction of
ONLY
), you don't hear a "click".
The use for tightening the left hand screw
or loosening the bolt may cause a failure.
④󲹭Tightening is complete when a click is
heard or felt.
