PreparingtheMachine

Procedure
Performthefollowingproceduretopreparethemachineforattachingtheblowerandnishingkit.
1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,andsettheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Repairallbentordamagedareasofmowerdeckandreplaceanymissingparts.
4.Cleanthemachineofanydebrisonthedeckorrearpartofthemachinetoeaseinstallation.

1.Removethecamlocks,washers,nut,andbolt
fromtheadjustableowbafe(Figure1).
2.Removetheboltsandnutssecuringtheleft
bafe(Figure1).
3.Removetheboltsandnutssecuringthe
dischargebafe(Figure1).
Note:Retainthebafesandhardwareforuse
whenchangingtoside-dischargingmode.
