•Slowdownanduseextracareonhillsides.Be
suretotravelintherecommendeddirectionon
hillsides.Turfconditionscanaffectthestabilityof
themachine.Useextremecautionwhileoperating
neardrop-offs.
•Keepallmovementonslopesslowandgradual.
Donotmakesuddenchangesinspeed,direction,

•Thegrasscatchercanobstructtheviewtothe

•Keephandsandfeetawayfrommovingparts.Do

•Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
thedrives,shutofftheengine,leavetheoperator’s
position,andchockthewheelsbeforeperforming
anytasksuchasemptyingthegrasscatcheror
uncloggingthechute.
•Ifyouremovethegrasscatcher,besuretoinstall
anydischargedeectororguardthatmighthave
beenremovedtoinstallthegrasscatcher.Donot
operatethemowerwithouteithertheentiregrass
catcherorthegrassdeectorinplace.
•Shutofftheenginebeforeremovingthegrass
catcheroruncloggingthechute.
•Donotleavegrassinthegrasscatcherfor
extendedperiodsoftime.
•Grasscatchercomponentsaresubjecttowear,
damageanddeterioration,whichcouldexpose
youtomovingpartsorallowobjectstobethrown.
Frequentlycheckcomponentsandreplacewith
themanufacturer'srecommendedparts,when
necessary.
