PreparingtheMachine
CAUTION
Ifyouleavethekeyintheswitch,someone
couldaccidentlystarttheengineand
seriouslyinjureyouorotherbystanders.
Removethekeyfromtheswitchbeforeyou
performanymaintenance.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engage
theparkingbrake,lowerthecuttingunits,shut
offtheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movementtostopbeforeleavingtheoperator’s
seat.
2.Unlatchandtiptheoperator’sseat.
3.Unlatchandopenthehood.
RemovingtheHoodSaddle
andDrive-LineGuard
1.Liftthehoodsaddlefromthesaddlebrackets,
andremovehoodsaddlefromthemachine
(Figure1).
