1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Lowerthemowerdeck,reelcuttingunit,orailcutting
unittotheground.
3.Engagetheparkingbrake.
4.Shutofftheengineremovethekey.
5.Waitforallmovingpartstostop.
OpeningtheHood
1.Insertthehoodkeyintothelockforthehoodand
rotatethelock90°counterclockwise(Figure1orFigure
2).
2.Releasethehoodlatches.
•Formachineswithatopmountedhoodlatch:
pressthebuttonofthehoodlatch(Figure1).

3.Rotatethelock90°clockwisetotheLOCKposition;
refertoOpeningtheHood(page1).

Toturnonthebeacon,pressthebottomoftheswitch.
Toshutoffthebeacon,pressthetopoftheswitch.
Note:Theignitionswitchmustbeinposition1forthe
beacontowork.
