Product description
TEF 2457 is a luminaire to be used for various applications such as deck light, signal light, emergency light, life
boat light. It is intended for use I safe areas. The luminaire has a rugged and low profile is simple to install and
maintain. It is resistant to vibrations and salt-laden atmospheres. Tested according to IEC 60945:1996.
Transport and storage
•Transport and store the equipment only in the original packaging
•Store the equipment in a dry and vibration free place
•Do not drop!

Mounting and installation
DANGER
Incorrect mounting and installation may lead to risk for falling objects, risk for electric shock or fire and risk for
equipment malfunction. In turn, this can lead to severe damage and/or injuries.
Mounting
Tools required for installation:
10 mm wrench - for assemble the luminaire.
3,5 mm flat screwdriver - for connecting the electricity on G-4
PH1 and 5,5 mm flat screwdriver –for connecting electricity on E27.
5,5 mm flat screwdriver –for tightening the globe and earth screw.
21 mm wrench –for tightening the pressure nut on the cable gland.
The lamp can be installed in any direction, but it is recommended that the cable glands face downwards.
Replace the cable gland gasket as required to match the cable diameter. Always replace any unused cable glands
with a blind plug.
When replacing the globe, take care not to overtighten the screws, while tightening them bit by bit.
Be sure to install the cable in a way, which prevents water to penetrate into the enclosure through the
cable gland

Cable entries: 1xM20 cable gland, cable diameter 8-13mm and 1xM20 stopping plug.
Maintenance and cleaning
Inspection of the luminaire according to Company routines. The manufacturer suggests regular check for water
intrusion/condensation. If any water is inside the lamp, remove it immediately. Clean only with a damp cloth,
water and mild detergents. Avoid chemicals with high or low pH, abrasives, high pressure washer, strong
detergents, solvents, petroleum- or alcohol based cleaning agents and similar. Avoid any corrosive media.
Disposal
CAUTION
This equipment or part of this equipment is considered EE-Waste, and shall be handled accordingly

•Separate materials when sending it for recycling
•Ensure environmentally friendly disposal of all components
•No component or packaging shall end up in the ocean during any stage of the product’s lifetime
