ABOUT THIS GUIDE
This “How to”will show the user how to connect a BL67-GW-EN to a Unitronics touch screen display.
Hardware
• BL 67-GW-EN, Set Rotary Switches to 000
• BL67-B-2M12-P (Slice housing)
• BL67-4DI4DO –PD (Slice)
• Appropriate Power cable for the BL67
• An RJ45 Ethernet Switch
• Appropriate Power cable for RJ45 Ethernet Switch
• One Unitronics Touch Screen Display
• Appropriate Power cable for Unitronics Touch Screen Display
• One RJ45 to M12 cable
• Two RJ45 to RJ45 cables
• One Unitronics RJ11 to RS232 data cable
• Any type of sensor (I used a Ni20-EM30WD-AP6X-H1141)
• Appropriate sensor cable that attaches to BL67-B2M12-P slice housing
Software
• Windows XP operating system
• VisLogic software (Install VisLogic software using Unitronics Install CD)
• BL67-GW-EN VisLogic example program

Hardware Conguration
Hook up the station in the same conguration show in the below photo. Note that RJ 45 (A) goes from the Ethernet
Switch to the Unitronics Touch Screen Display.

SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION
-> Open BL67-GW-EN VisLogic example program
-> Wait for the VisLogic software to open

-> Connection -> Communications
-> Check to make sure the correct RS 232 COM Port is selected -> Click “Get OPLC Information”

-> Verify “OPLC Information” pops up -> Click Exit
-> Connection -> Download -> Stop – Download - Reset

UNITRONICS TOUCH SCREEN CONFIGURATION
-> Press “Activate” on the touch screen -> Notice that the status changes to “Connected”
-> Trigger the sensor and then press“Read” -> Notice that the “Read” bit is now high

-> Remove the trigger from the sensor; press“Read” again -> Notice the “Read” bit is now low
-> Press the “write”data on the touch screen

-> Press “1” -> Press “enter”
