1. Remove diffuser from housing by sliding diffuser to
one side; then, lift opposite side over flange.
(See Figure 1)
2. Remove wireway cover from housing by squeezing
wireway cover to disengage from retaining slots.
(See Figure 2)
3. With power off, remove knockout from center of
fixture housing. Place standard screwdriver on
center of slot and gently strike with hammer.
(See Figure 3) Grip edge with pliers and flex back
and forth until removed.
4. Lift fixture housing to ceiling, centering knockout
over outlet box and parallel to walls. Mark ceiling
with pencil for mounting holes through 1/4 x 3/8" slots.
Drill 1/8" pilot hole at each location. If drill does not
encounter ceiling joist, enlarge hole in ceiling to
accommodate toggle bolt. (See Figure 4)

maintaining this product.
• Risk of electric shock. This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code
by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and hazards involved.
• Risk of Fire. Minimum 194°F supply conductors. Consult a qualified electrician to ensure correct branch
circuit conductor.

5. With power off, hold fixture up to outlet box and pull
wires into fixture housing through the knockout hole.
(See Figure 5)
6. Secure fixture housing at each end to ceiling with
#10 wood screws or toggle bolts, depending on
structural conditions. (See Figure 6)
7. With power off, make power supply connections.
Attach ground wire to green ground screw; then,
connect supply wires, black to black and white to
white with wire nuts. (See Figure 7)
8. Replace wireway cover tabs in fixture housing. Make
sure no wiring is pinched under cover. (See Figure 8)
9. Install lamps, insert pins of the T8 linear lamp into
sockets and rotate 90°. (See Figure 9)
10. Install diffuser by hooking one side of diffuser on
housing flange and carefully shifting opposite side
over housing flange. Then, lift other side of fixture
housing edge as shown. (See Figure 10)
