Access  ng the EdgeOS Conf  gurat  on Interface
The EdgeOS® conf  gurat  on  nterface can be accessed v  a DHCP or stat  c IP address
ass  gnment. By default, eth1  s set up as a DHCP cl  ent, wh  le eth0  s ass  gned a stat  c IP
address of 192.168.1.1. To conf  gure the EdgeRouter, proceed to the appropr  ate
sect  on: DHCP or “Stat  c IP Address” .
DHCP
1. Connect an Ethernet cable from eth1 on the EdgeRouter to a LAN segment that has
an ex  st  ng DHCP server.

2. To check the IP address of the EdgeRouter, use one of the follow  ng methods:
Set up the DHCP server to prov  de a spec  f  c IP address to the EdgeRouter based
on  ts MAC address (on the label).
Let the EdgeRouter obta  n an IP address and then check the DHCP server to see
wh  ch IP address was ass  gned.
3. Launch your web browser. Enter the appropr  ate IP address  n the address f  eld. Press
enter (PC) or return (Mac).
4. Enter ubnt  n the Username and Password f  elds. Read the Ub  qu  t  L  cense
Agreement, and check the box next to I agree to the terms of th  s L  cense
Agreement to accept  t. Cl  ck Log  n.
The EdgeOS Conf  gurat  on Interface w  ll appear, allow  ng you to custom  ze your

Stat  c IP Address
1. Connect an Ethernet cable from the Ethernet port on your computer to the port
labeled eth0 on the EdgeRouter.

2. Conf  gure the Ethernet adapter on your host system w  th a stat  c IP address on the
192.168.1.x subnet.
3. Launch your web browser. Type https://192.168.1.1  n the address f  eld, and press
enter (PC) or return (Mac).
4. Enter ubnt  n the Username and Password f  elds. Read the Ub  qu  t  L  cense

The PoE sett  ng for ports eth0-eth4  s set to Off by default.
WARNING: Before act  vat  ng PoE, ensure that the connected dev  ce supports
pass  ve PoE and the suppl  ed voltage.
1. In the Dashboard tab, cl  ck Act  ons > PoE of the Ethernet port you want to conf  gure.
2. Select the appropr  ate PoE sett  ng, and cl  ck Save.
3. The PoE LED on the Ethernet port w  ll conf  rm the PoE sett  ng.
