Page 3
3.1 Formatting the SD card
Switch camera to SETUP. Press MENU button, then choose SYS tab. Navigate down by pressing the ▼
button until the FORMAT SD Card option is highlighted and press OK then choose Yes to format.
The camera is designed to instantly transmit triggered footage once the photo or video is taken by using
available cellular network signal and you can choose either of the following;
1. Images / short video clips (max 10 sec length) to up to 4 x different email address (uses DATA).
2. MMS photos to up to 4 different cell phone numbers or (uses AIRTIME);
PLEASE NOTE: SMS commands for remote controlling the camera also require AIRTIME on the SIM.
- Make sure you have a network enabled and registered SIM card and that AIRTIME / DATA are loaded
onto it.
- Be sure that the PIN Code is OFF from the SIM card before inserting SIM card to camera. (You can
disable the PIN of a SIM card via your mobile phone. Then reinsert the card into your camera).
The GLORY LTE camera has no internal memory storage space to store pictures / video clips. You need to
insert a SD memory card to let the camera work correctly. Standard size SD and SDHC (High Capacity) cards
up to a maximum 32GB capacity are supported (Micro-SD memory cards with adapters are NOT
recommended).
Using high speed SD cards (SanDisk3 Ultra3 or Extreme3 series or similar) is recommended if you will use the
1280x720 or 1920x1080 video settings.
Make sure the power switch is OFF before you insert the SIM card or SD card into camera. The camera will not
turn on without a SD card inside.
Make sure the write-protect switch on the side of the card is “off” (NOT in the “Lock” position).

When you are logged in to your own Gmail e-mail account (e.g. from your PC), please go
to your Account / Settings page
www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps
Navigate to 'Less Secure App Access' and then click: "enable"

notification has come from before viewing the footage (max of 8 characters).
CAM Setting:
For efficiency, you can click the 'CAM Setting' button and custom many camera settings to suite your requirements (these can

8Trouble Shooting
COMMON ERROR MESSAGES:
“SEND FAIL”
“NETWORK BUSY”
Reasons for error:
1) The service in your area is not sufficient to run the camera.
2) There is an error when setting up the SIM card or it’s locked.
3) Your dataplan for the SIM card is not sufficient. Suggestions to remedy:
1) Ensure sufficient Data and Airtime are loaded onto the SIM.
2) Re‐do the U Set.exe program set‐up to make 100% sure there aren’t any mistakes, check to be sure the
numbers and e‐mail addresses are correct.
3) Contact your network provider and make sure your SIM card is registered, active and is UNLOCKED.
4) If it’s a cellular service issue you may need to purchase a booster antenna to help boost the signal. These can be
very effective in boosting the signal to your camera in a poor signal area.
“Network Busy:”
Reasons for error:
1) There is a problem with the phone number or email addresses.
2) There is not enough money on the SIMcard plan.
Suggestions to remedy:
1) Re‐do the U Set.exe program set-up. Make sure there are no mistakes.
2) Sometimes you need to go back to just one phone number or e‐mail address at a time to find where the error is.
Test with just one and if it works, then add more and test.
3) Ensure sufficient Data and Airtime are loaded onto the SIM.
Cannot access the SETUP menu:
Reasons for issue:
1) This only happens if you don’t have anSD card in the card slot or if the SD card is corrupted.
2) Batteries are too low
Suggestions to remedy
1) Install a standard size SD card or Install a new SD card
2) Replace the batteries.
10Tricks and tips on field setup
For best results, mount the camera approximately 1.5m off the ground facing straight forward as level as
possible.
-To enhance the flash, we recommend positioning the camera in an area with a backdrop to reflect the maximum
amount of light. For instance, place the camera 7m-10m/from a field edge facing the woods. For the inside of timber,
positioning the camera facing a thicket approximately 7m-10m away.
- Try to set the camera up so it’s not facing directly into the sun either in the morning or the evening when game
movement is at its peak.

Page 16
9 Mounting tips
In some instances, using the forest for
reflection can add more light to your
target area.
Don’t facedirectly towards light
sources as this may result in
'white-out' / over-exposed
footage.
Mount the camera approximately 1.4m
off the ground facing straight forward as
level as possible. For instance, place the
camera 7m-10m from afield edge facing
the woods. If positioning the camera in
a bushy area, position it facing athicket
approximately 7m-10m away.
Recording short video clips is a
good way of minimising the
effect of night-time 'motion-blur'
images if the subject is moving
briskly past the camera. It
provides a constant light source.
