Functional descriptions
1. LCD This displays the current informaon of the device. It displays
the opcal power measurement results in units of dB, dBm, mW, μW, and
nW, the set wavelength in units of nm, and the state of AUTO OFF seng.
2. ON/OFF This is the power buon that turns the device on and o.
To power on the meter, press and hold the power buon unl informaon
appears on the LCD. Press and hold the power buon again to turn it o.
3. AUTO OFF While the device is on, press the AUTO OFF buon
to enable or disable the AUTO OFF funcon. If AUTO OFF is enabled, a
power icon will appear in the top le corner of the LCD. When AUTO OFF
is enabled, the device will automacally turn o if there are no operaons
performed within 10 minutes.
4. ZERO Press this buon to zero the relave opcal power value.
5. LIGHT Press this buon to turn on the backlight for the LCD. While
the LCD backlight is on, press the buon again to turn it o.
6. dB Press this buon to change the units of the relave opcal power
between μW and dB.
7. λPress this buon to select the wavelength to be measured. The
seven precalibrated wavelengths include 850 nm, 980 nm, 1300 nm, 1310
nm, 1490 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm.
