The manual contains thecorrect procedures for the loading, use, routine / special maintenance and
installation oftheVending Machine. This manual is anintegralpart ofthe machine andmust therefore be
kept intact and available to handfor the machine“sentire productive life.

This manual is addressed to those persons in chargeofloading, cleaning, androutine maintenance ofthe
machine (Filling Attendant), to the final user ofthe vending machine (User)andto thosepersons in charge
ofinstallation, adjustment, specialmaintenanceofthe vending machine (Installer/maintenance
technician).It is compulsorythat all personnel in charge ofthese operations are familiar withtheinstructions
and abide bythe procedures contained inthis manual.

The manufacturer,sresponsibilityis confined to thecorrect use of the vending machine, in thelimits
indicatedin this manual. The company ”SandenVendoáreserves the rightsto makechanges toits vending

Warranty
The warranty onthe Vending Machine components, startingfromthe dateshownonthedelivery note, is for
24 months for the cooling system.
The warranty includes exclusively the parts replaced, with labour excluded.
TheWarranty does notinclude, damages to the vending machine caused by:
•Transport and/or handling
•Operator errors
•Lack of maintenance contemplatedfor in this manual
•Failures and/or breakages not due to malfunction of the vendingmachine
0.6 General safety warnings
§Carefully read the manual before starting or loading the vendingmachine
§Protect the vending machine against weather conditions
§Only maintenance technicians should remove the protective covers
§Always read the programming manual before operatingthe electronic board settings
§Never position the vendingmachine in direct sunlight
§Never sell theproducts with thedoor open
§Refer totheroutinemaintenance chapter to clean the vending machine
§Disconnect the power cable before giving assistance or unblocking a blockedproduct

The coolingsystem stats working when the machineis connectedto the electrical supply. The compressor
stops when it reaches the temperature set on the thermostat. Itautomatically re-starts when the temperature
lowers of2 or 3 degrees.

2INSTALLATION
2.1 Transportandpositioning

To transport andhandlethevending machine carefully follow theinstructions below.
•Use atrans pallet/lift truck with minimumcarrying capacity of 400 Kg,the woodenbases (A)allow for
grippingof the 4 sides of the vendingmachine(fig. 3.1)
•Should you not wish to install themachine immediately, positionthe vending machine vertically and
in adry andprotected room.
•CAUTION: it is absolutely forbidden to transport and/or position the vending machine horizontally.
•In the event that themachineis mistakenly laidhorizontally,re-position in theworking position
(vertically) and waitat least12hours before startingit,otherwiseyou may cause damages and
anomalies tothecooling system
•Position the vending machinein theinstallation area, work carefully, avoid manouvres that may
suddenly jolt andcrash the machine.
•Remove all packaging fromthe vending machine, extract the power cable fromthe rear protective
grille and carefully moveit to its final position.

2.2 Installationenvironment characteristics

ENVIRONMENTS WHERE WATER JETS ARE USED
Environments conditions for installing thevending machine
•The vendingmachine models describedinthis documentmust beinstalledin environment/area
where the temperature does not exceed 32 °C or fall below 10°C. failing this the electrical parts
(compressor) may be subject to overheating or may work not properly.
•Air circulationis crucial for cooling system: check that there is at least a10 cm gapbetween therear
of the vending machine and any obstacle(ex. a wall).
•Make sure thatthecapacity loadofthesurfaceonwhich the vendingmachineis positioned is
adequate to support the weightdeclared by the manufacturer.
2.3 Removing the wooden bases

Toremove thewooden bases,work as follows:
•With a trans pallet, lift the vending machine from the floor (holding it from the front)
•Withasize 10 adjustable spanner (we recommend using aratchet wrench) unscrew the screws that
fasten thewoodenbasestothemachine; 2screws forthe righthand baseand2 screws for theleft
handbase
•Fit the 4 feet onto the base of the machine
•Rest themachineon the floor

2.4 Levelling
In order for the vending machine to runperfectly, position it on aperfectly levelsurface. Any irregularities in
the floor canbecompensateadjustingthescrew-onfeet onthe vendingmachinein order toobtainaperfect
level and guarantee stability.

Makesure that the particulars of the power mains (tension and frequency) are the sameas those
indicatedon the machine’srating plate: this vending machine must beconnectedto a230 V,50
Hz power mains, eachvoltage below 207 V or over 253 V can causes failure.
Makesure that the supplyoutlet is groundedandthat, after makingthe connection, the entire
appliance is ground connected.
Makesure that the appliance is positioned so that the plug connectingit to the power mains can
be easily accessed after installation.
Make sure that the neutralwire is blue; otherwise, youmust invert the poles.
CAUTION: shouldyoufind anyanomalieswith thesupplycableorshoulditbe damaged,itmust
bereplaced.For thesafety ofpersonnelandtopreventall risks ofdamages tothemachinenever
replace the supply cable, contact themanufacturer or the technicalassistance service.
CAUTION: NEVERUSE EXTENSION LEADS
Youmay now connectthemachine tothe power mains, the neonadvertisingpanel and all the signallamps
of the empty columns should lightup andthecooling system should start.

2.6 Installing the coinmechanism
Hook the coin mechanism on 3 screws suitably placed(E) on the door (F) (fig. 3.4).
Check thatthecoin mechanism has thecoin entrancein line withtheexitof thecurved channel(G)and that
the distancebetween the two parts is around 10 mmmaximum.
The mentioneddistance is simply adjustableby looseningthe3fasteningscrews (H)on thedoor and
therefore moving it upwards or downwards. After doing this operation remember to tighten the screws again.

It is possible to changethe coinage position in the two direction ofthehorizontalplaneto adapt theproducts
ofsomemanufacturers that donot followexactlythe international standards.Todo this,applythe3
supporting screws in the holes (L) and move fromright to left.
It is also possible to move the coin mechanismup and downinstalling spacers (washers) (I) between the
coinage door and the bottomofthe coinage box.
Once the setting is done remove the selector and tighten the 3 supporting screws(E).
(These operations are not necessaryif you use a coinage mechanismsuggested bySandenVendo).
Actuate the coin return button (M) and checkthat the mechanismworks properly:make sure that theselector
opens as much as possible. Ifthis doesn“thappen, youwill have toadjust again the height ofthe coinage
door.
Connect thecoinmechanism to the connector,which is above the control box.

THE COIN BOXES WITH EXECUTIVE PROTOCOL HAVE 2CONNECTORS, A POWER SUPPLYCONNECTOR THAT
COMES DIRECTLY FROM THETRANSFORMER BOX, AND ACOMMUNICATION CONNECTOR FROMTHE MAIN

Control settings
All themachine’scontrol and operation settings can beset throughtheprogrammingroutineof the
electronic board.
The programmingroutineof theelectronic board is described in the PROGRAMMING MANUAL supplied
with the vending machine.

2.7 Pricesetting
For setting price refer totheprogrammingmanual of the control board. This vending machine allows you to
use different prices for eachsingle selectionand tomake any kind ofpairing between columnand selection
button.

window (T)inserting thembetween the two plastic parts. Remember that thefirst part remember that the first
buttonon the topactuates the first column onthe right and so on up to thelastbutton on the bottom that
actuates the last column onthe left.
