Easily integrates into existing network without replacing or recon-
figuring existing infrastructure. Supports a wide variety of digital
display components and multi-vendor networks.
>Easy audio and video streaming with content-rich video and graphics
Display dynamic and captivating content with the included
Macromedia Flash 6. Decodes MPEG-1/2/4, WAV audio/video formats.
>Versatile content presentation
Display unique or consistent content on displays throughout the
network. Flexible display modes enable you to show content in
landscape or portrait mode, and in single or multiple zones on
each display within the network.
>Web-based user interface and built-in browser
Allows changes to network, video and browser settings, even
firmware upgrades through the media player. The built-in web
browser lets users render any HTML content and play Macromedia
Flash applications.
>Lower total cost of ownership (TCO)
Eliminates local/remote PCs. Offers simplified cabling and
installation and easy-to-use software.
>Easy, flexible device management
Remotely manage display and network
information through the user-friendly
web interface, Telnet, Tivella
Administration Server (TAS) or

ViewSonic’s NMP-500 Network Media Player turns any display into
a digital signage display. It’s an IP-based media player with MPEG-
1/2/4 video stream capability for digital signage applications. The
Media Player replaces remote PCs. It’s small and lightweight, yet
powerful enough for digital signage applications in hotels, restaurants,
retail stores, arenas, stadiums, transportation centers, schools,
financial institutions and manufacturing. The powerful processor
delivers smooth playback of high-definition video and Flash™content.
The NMP-500 is equipped to handle many layers of high-quality graphics,
text, and video and is a cost-effective solution. From Macromedia®
Flash to HTML, and from video to still pictures, it’s all available and
easy to present with the NMP-500 Network Media Player.
