Električna varnost
a) Napravo lahko priključite samo na nepoškodovano in ozemljeno vtičnico.
b) Vtičnica mora biti zaščitena z varovalko z izklopnim tokom največ 30 mA.
c) Napajalna napetost mora biti enaka napetosti, navedeni na identifikacijski
ploščici na napravi.
d) Napravo lahko priključite samo na vir napajanja, z enakimi karakteristikami, kot

k) Pred priklopom vtikača v vtičnico se prepričajte, da je naprava izklopljena.
l) Pred izklopom vtikača iz vtičnice se prepričajte, da je naprava izklopljena.
m) Pred prenašanjem vedno odstranite vtikač iz vtičnice.
Varnostna opozorila za fene
a) Delovno območje mora biti dobro prezračevano. Plini in hlapi lahko škodujejo
vašemu zdravju.
b) Ne uporabljajte naprave v vlažnem okolju in je ne izpostavljajte vlagi.
c) Nepravilna uporaba poveča nevarnost požara ali eksplozije.

nevarnost nastanka vnetljivih in strupenih hlapov. Ne uporabljajte naprave v
bližini vnetljivih materialov ali plinov.
e) Toplota lahko prodre tudi do vnetljivih delov, ki niso vidni.
f) Ne držite naprave na enem mestu predolgo.
g) Nevarnost opeklin! Ne dotikajte se vroče šobe. Nosite zaščitne rokavice.
h) Nikoli ne usmerjajte naprave proti drugim osebam ali živalim.
i) Nikoli ne uporabljajte naprave kot sušilnik za lase ali za sušenje oblačil.
j) Ne približujte šobe preblizu obdelovancu, saj lahko preveč toplote povzroči
pregrevanje obdelovanca.
k) Ne prekrivajte odprtin za zrak.
l) Pred shranjevanjem počakajte, da se naprava popolnoma ohladi. Vroča šoba
lahko povzroči nevarnost poškodb ali požara.
m) Nikoli ne odstranjujte opozorilnih simbolov in nalepk. Poškodovane simbole in
nalepke takoj zamenjajte.

Uporaba
Odstranjevanje barve
-Barvo ali ostanke barve na različnih površinah lahko lažje odstranite s
predhodnim segrevanjem s fenom in odstranjevanjem z ustreznim orodjem.
Odstranjevanje in taljenje lepil
-Številna lepila lahko odstranite s predhodnim segrevanjem. Napravo lahko
uporabite za odstranjevanje lepilnih spojev ali za odstranjevanje odvečnega
lepila.
Mehko spajkanje
-Naprava je primerna za točkovno spajkanje ali spajkanje cevi. Temperatura
spajkanja mora biti nižja od 400 °C.
Lepljenje in oblikovanje sintetičnih materialov
-Segrejte sintetične materiale s stalnim nihajnim gibanjem. Za lepljenje uporabite
ustrezna lepila.
Sušenje
-Naprava se lahko uporablja za sušenje barv, lepil in tesnil.
Krčenje
-Namestite cev za krčenje na obdelovanec in jo enakomerno segrejte s fenom, da
se skrči in tesno prilega ob obdelovanec.
Odmrzovanje vodovodnih napeljav
-Zamrznjeno cev segrevajte od zunanjega roba proti sredini. Pri segrevanju
plastičnih cevi in spojev bodite še posebej previdni in pazite, da jih ne
poškodujete.
Šobe
OPOZORILO!
Nevarnost poškodb! Pred menjavo šobe vedno izklopite napravo, odstranite vtikač
iz vtičnice in počakajte, da se naprava ohladi.
-Široka šoba (E) med segrevanjem ščiti steklene površine pred prevelikim
pregrevanjem zaradi preusmeritve zračnega toka.
-Reducirna šoba (F) omogoča natančno usmerjen zračni tok, ki ga lahko
uporabite za oblikovanje sintetičnih materialov.
-Reflektorska šoba (G) omogoča raven zračni tok, ki ga lahko uporabite za
odmrzovanje cevi.

Preverjanje pred vklopom!
OPOZORILO!
Nevarnost poškodb! Uporabljate lahko samo pravilno sestavljeno in
nepoškodovano napravo. Poškodovane dele zamenjajte.
-Preverite stikala in delovanje naprave.
-Preverite, če so odprtine za zrak zamašene.
-Preverite, če so vsi deli dobro pritrjeni.
-Preglejte napravo za poškodbe: poškodovani deli, razpoke, itd.
Vklop in izklop
OPOMBA!
Nevarnost poškodb naprave! Šoba mora biti vedno vsaj 25 mm
odmaknjena od obdelovalne površine.
OPOMBA!
Nevarnost poškodb naprave! Nikoli ne uporabljajte naprave tako, da so
odprtine za zrak obrnjene navzdol, saj lahko povzročite zajem umazanega
zraka.
OPOZORILO!
Nevarnost poškodb! Za odlaganje uporabite stojalo (D). Nikoli ne
odlagajte naprave na vnetljive površine.
-Na napravo namestite ustrezno šobo.
-Vklopite in izklopite napravo.
-Po koncu dela izklopite napravo, odstranite vtikač iz vtičnice in odložite napravo
na stojalo (D), da se ohladi.

Čiščenje in vzdrževanje
OPOZORILO!
Nevarnost poškodb! Pred čiščenjem ali vzdrževanjem izklopite napravo
in odstranite vtikač iz vtičnice. Počakajte, da se vsi gibljivi deli zaustavijo
in se naprava ohladi.
Čiščenje
Redno čiščenje in vzdrževanje ohranja dobro učinkovitost delovanja in omogoča
dolgo življenjsko dobo naprave.
-Očistite napravo z vlažno krpo.
-Nikoli ne pršite naprave z vodo in je ne izpostavljajte vodi.
-Za čiščenje nikoli ne uporabljajte čistil ali topil, saj lahko poškodujete plastične
dele naprave. Agresivna čistila in topila lahko povzročijo poškodbe plastičnih
delov.
-Šoba in odprtine za zrak morajo biti čiste.

Electrical safety
a) The device may only be connected to a socket that is correctly installed and
grounded.

b) The fuse must be a residual current circuit-breaker with a measured residual
current of no more than 30 mA.
c) Make sure that the power supply corresponds with the connection
specifications of the device before it is connected.
d) The tool may only be used within the specified limitations for voltage and power
(see type plate).
e) Do not touch the mains plug with wet hands! Always pull out the mains plug at
the plug and not by the cable.
f) Do not bend, crush, pull or drive over the power cable, protect from sharp
edges, oil and heat.
g) Do not lift the device using the cable or use the cable for purposes other than
intended.
h) Check the plug and cable before each use.
i) If the power cable is damaged immediately disconnect the plug. Never use the
device if the power cable is damaged.
j) If the device is not in use make sure the plug is pulled out.
k) Make sure that the device is switched off before plugging in the mains cable.
l) Make sure that the device is switched off before unplugging it.
m) Disconnect the power supply before transporting the device.
Device-specific safety instructions
a) Make sure the workplace is adequately ventilated. Residual gases and vapours
can be harmful to health.
b) Do not operate the product in moist environments or allow it to become moist.
c) Careless handling of the product increases the risk of fire and explosion.
d) Flammable and toxic gases can develop when working with synthetics, paints,
e) Varnishes and similar materials. Do not work in the proximity of highly
flammable gases or materials.
f) Heat can reach flammable parts that are not visible.
g) Do not use the product in the same position for a long time.
h) Risk of burns! Do not touch the hot nozzle. Wear protective gloves.
i) Never point the hot air current at persons or animals.
j) Never use the product as a hair dryer or for drying clothing.
k) Do not move the nozzle too close to the part to be treated. The resultant build
up of air can cause the product to overheat.
l) Do not block the air inlet openings.
m) Let the product completely cool before storing. The hot nozzle can cause
damage and fires.
n) Symbols affixed to your tools may not be removed or covered. Information on
the device that is no longer legible must be replaced immediately.

WARNING!
Danger of death! Water pipes can sometimes be difficult to tell apart
from gas pipes. Under no circumstances
WARNING!
Health risk due to rising vapours! Wear an appropriate respirator mask
and make sure the workplace is adequately ventilated.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage! An excessive supply of heat can cause damage to the
workpiece. Perform a sample operation in a safe place.
Potential applications
Removing paint and paint residues
-Heat up paint or residual paint on the surface to be treated using the hot air gun
and remove using a suitable tool.

Dissolving adhesives
-Many adhesives can be softened using heat. Joints can be separated or excess
glue can be removed in this way.
Soft soldering
-The product is suitable for spot soldering or soldering pipes. The fusing
temperature of the solder must be below 400 °C.
Bonding and deforming synthetic materials
-Heat up synthetic materials by consistent see-saw movements. Use suitable hot
adhesives for bonding.
Drying
-The product can be used for drying coats of paints, binders and sealants.
Shrinking
-Select the shrink hose according to the workpiece and heat up evenly using the
hot air gun.
Thawing of water pipes
-Always heat up the frozen section from edge to middle. Exercise extreme
caution when heating up plastic pipes and joints between pipe sections in order
to prevent damage.
Cap nozzles
WARNING!
Risk of injury! The nozzle must not be replaced until the device has cooled off and
has been disconnected from the mains.
-The air-blast nozzle (E) protects panes of glass, for example, from being heated
up by diverting the air current.
-The reducing nozzle (F) produces a precise air current which can be used for
deforming synthetic materials, for example.
-The reflector nozzle (G) produces a flat air current which can be used for
thawing frozen water pipes, for example.
Check before switching on!
WARNING!
Risk of injury! The product must only be put into operation if no defects are found.
It is crucial that any defective parts are replaced before the product is used again.

-Check the safe condition of the product:
-Check that the air inlet openings are not blocked.
-Check all parts to make sure that they fit tightly.
-Check whether there are any visible defects: broken parts, cracks, etc.
Switching on/off
NOTICE!
Risk of product damage! Always maintain a minimum distance of 25 mm
between the nozzle and the surface to be treated.
NOTICE!
Risk of product damage! Never use the product with the air inlet
openings pointing downwards. Dirty air can be sucked in.
WARNING!
Risk of injury! Use the stand (D) for resting the device. Don't put the
device down on any inflammable surface.
-Attach the required cap nozzle
-On/off
-As soon as the work is completed pull out the mains plug and put the product
on its stand (D) to let it cool down
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING!
Risk of injury! Switch off the product and disconnect the mains plug
before all cleaning and maintenance work. Wait until all moving parts
have come to a complete stop and the product has cooled down.
Cleaning the product
Careful handling and regular cleaning ensure that the product remains functional
and efficient for a long time.
-Wipe down the product with a slightly damp cloth.
-Never spray the product with water or expose it to water.
-Never use detergents or solvents for cleaning. This can cause irreparable
damage to the product. The plastic parts can be eaten away by the chemicals.
-Keep the air inlet openings and nozzle clear of impurities and blockages.
