Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS MAY RESULT IN
DEATH, INJURY OR SIGNIFICANT PROPERTY DAMAGE- For your protection, read and
follow these warning and instructions carefully before installing or maintaining this
xture. These instructions do not attempt to cover all installation and maintenance
situations. If you do not understand these instructions or additional information is
required, contact VOLT® Lighting prior to installation.
WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK- To aviod electric shock, serious injury, or
death, be certain that all electrical power is disconnected from the supply branch
ciricuit conductors before installing or maintaining this xture. This product must be
installed and maintained in accordance with the applicable installation codes by a
person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards
involved.
WARNING: RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY- This product may have sharp edges. Wear
gloves to prevent cuts or abrasions when removing from carton, handling, installing
and maintaining this product. VOLT® Lighting assumes no responsibility for claims
arising out of improper or careless installation or handling of this product.
1) Do not install a damaged xture.
2) The xture must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical
Code and applicable local codes and ordinances.
3) Proper grounding is required to ensure personal safety. Be certain
green lead from the xture is connected to supply ground.
4) Use code compliant connectors for all electrical connections.
5) ALL work should be done by a qualied electrician.
WARNING: NEVER connect or disconnect any component while power
supply is engaged.
DELIVERY: Upon receipt of xture and accessories (packed separately),
thoroughly inspect for any freight damage. All damage should be
reported to the delivery carrier. Do not install damage xtures. Compare
the catalog description listed on the packaging slip with the xture label
on the inside of the housing to be sure you have received the correct
merchandise.

Install Stake and Conduit

Dig a hole in the ground for the conduit runs and the stake. Install
the conduit. Slide the stabilizer grid onto the stake and secure with
the screws. Place the stake over the conduit runs. Backll against the
mounting stake.

Remove the cap from the stake
by loosening the set screws.

Thread the cap onto the xture
body and hand tighten until
snug.

Wire Connection and Fixture Installation

Allow enough wire from the
xture for adjustment purposes.
Connect the wires from
the xture into the wiring
terminal. The white wire goes
to the “Neutral” terminal; the
black wire goes to the “Live”
terminal; and the green wire
goes to the “Ground” terminal.
Fix them in place with the
connector screws.
