NEVER USE WITH LARGER/HEAVIER THAN RECOMMENDED FLAT PANEL TVS OR EQUIPMENT. TO
AVOID INSTABILITY, PLACE FLAT PANEL TV IN THE CENTER OF THE UNIT; THE BASE OF THE

IMPORTANT
Before you begin: Open, identify and count all parts prior to assembly. Lay out parts on a flat and
non-abrasive surface. You will need the parts identified on page 4 and 5 of this instruction manual.
NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE GLUE WITH THE DOWELS. EXCESS GLUE CAN BE
WIPED OFF WITH A DAMP CLOTH.
Insert dowel at least half way by tapping lightly with a rubber mallet (not included), IF NECESSARY.
CAM LOCK SYSTEM OPERATION
HOW THE KNOCK DOWN (KD) ASSEMBLY SYSTEM WORKS
1. Screw the Cam Bolt into the pre-drilled small holes on the panel. Connect both panels together; making sure
the Cam Bolt goes into the pre-drilled hole at the end of the panel with the Cam Lock.
2. Insert the Cam Lock into the pre-drilled large hole in the panel. Make sure the arrow on the Cam Lock is
pointed towards the Cam Bolt.
3. Once the Cam Bolt is connected inside the Cam Lock, take a Phillips screwdriver (not included) and
tighten the Cam Lock clockwise.
4. Plug the Cam Lock Cover into the cross slot of the Cam Locks to conceal the cam.
You are now ready to assemble the KD unit.

Assembly Instructions
1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts. Assemble the unit on a
carpeted floor or the empty carton to avoid any scratch.
2. Securely screw the Cam Bolts (2) into the designated small holes on the Fixed Shelf (B), Bottom Panel
(C) and Lower Partition Panels (F and G) using a Phillips screwdriver, as shown in the illustration.
3. Insert two Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes of Middle Crossbar Assembly (I). Tap it in with a
rubber mallet, if necessary. Make sure that you use a small amount of glue with both ends of all dowels.
4. Align the drilled holes on the Fixed Shelf (B) with the inserted Wood Dowel (3) on the Middle Crossbar
Assembly (I), and then press them together. Attach the Middle Crossbar Assembly (I) in place by
engaging three Cam Locks (1) (Refer to page 3 on Cam Lock system operation supplement).

5. Align and attach the Base Rear Stretcher (O) to the Bottom Panel (C) with two Wood Dowels (3) and
three Cam Locks (1), as shown.
6. Align and attach the Base Front Molding (L) to the Bottom Panel (C) with two wood dowels (3) and
three cam locks (1).

7. Align and attach the Middle Left Stile (J) to the Left Lower Partition Panel (F) with two Wood Dowels
(3) and three Cam Locks (1).
8. Repeat the same procedure to combine the Middle Right Stile (K) and the Right Lower Partition Panel
(G) together.
9. Glue four Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes of the Lower Partition Panels (F and G) and attach
them to the Bottom Panel (C) with four 1-1/2” Wood Screws (4).

10. Securely screw the Cam Bolts (2) into the designated small holes on the Left and Right Side Panels (D
and E) using a Phillips screwdriver.
11. Glue three Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes on Left Bottom Molding (M) and fasten it to the Left
Lower Side Panel (D) with six 1-1/2” Wood Screws (4).
12. Repeat last step to combine the Right Bottom Molding (N) with the Right Lower Side Panel (E)
together.

13. Glue six Wood Dowels (3) into the large holes of the assembled base at both ends.
14. Align the large holes on the Left Lower Side Panel (D) with the inserted Wood Dowels (3) on the
assembled base. Firmly press them together and fasten it in place by engaging three Cam Locks (1).
15. Repeat last step to attach Right Lower Side Panel (E) at the other end.
16. With the pilot holes as a guide, attach four Corner Connectors (5) to the middle joints between the Base
Front Molding (L) and the Lower Side Panels (D and E) using two 5/8” Screws (7) per bracket.
