1. General Description
This manual is intended to assist you for safe and reliable use. The product is designed
and manufactured strictly according to technical specifications using the latest
technology and components and maintaining the highest quality standards.

To ensure long and reliable operation of the device, make sure to operate and maintain
it properly in accordance with the guidelines in this instruction manual. The technical
data and specifications in this manual are up-to-date. The manufacturer reserves the

and the possibility of reducing noise into account, the unit is designed and built in such
a way so that risks resulting from noise emissions are reduced to the lowest possible

2. Safety of use
CAUTION! Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow
warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or even death.
The term "device" or "product" in the warnings and in the description of the instructions
refers to CHICKEN DOOR OPENER.
2.1. Safety in the workplace
a) If you have any doubts as to whether the product is working properly or if it is
damaged, contact the manufacturer's service department.
b) Repairs to the device may only be carried out by the manufacturer's service.
Do not attempt to repair the product on your own!
c) Keep this manual for future reference. If the product is to be handed over to a
third party, hand it over with this user manual.
d) Keep packaging components and small installation parts out of the reach of
children.
2.2. Safe use of the device
a) Repairs and maintenance should be carried out by qualified personnel using
only original spare parts. This will ensure the safety of use.
b) To ensure the designed operational integrity of the device, do not remove
factory-installed covers or loosen screws.

c) Avoid situations in which the device stops under heavy loads during operation.
This can cause overheating of the drive elements and consequent damage to
the equipment.
d) Clean the device regularly to prevent permanent dirt build-up.
e) Do not tamper with the device to alter its performance or design.
f) Keep the unit away from sources of fire and heat.
g) Batteries that are not rechargeable should not be charged.
h) Do not mix different types of batteries, or old and used batteries.
i) Install batteries according to the polarity direction indicated on the unit and
battery symbols.
j) Remove used batteries from the unit and dispose of them safely in accordance
with the law.
k) Do not use the appliance to lift doors that weigh more than recommended.
l) Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
m) Be careful when lowering the door. Despite the low weight of the door, it is
recommended to avoid contact with the falling load.
CAUTION! Although the product has been designed to be safe and has
adequate safeguards and despite the additional safety features provided
to the user, there is still a slight risk of accident or injury when handling
the product. Caution and common sense are advised when using the
product.
3. Instructions for use
The product is intended to be used as an automatically opening and closing door
to a poultry house.
The user is responsible for any damage resulting from misuse.

3.2. Preparation for operation

Kit contents

Note: The necessary tool for assembly will be a screwdriver (not included).
Place of installation:
•The controller should be mounted on the outside wall of the poultry house
(the controller has a light sensor).
•The controller should be installed above the hen entrance.

•It is recommended that the entrance measures 22 x 32 cm (width x height).
•The ambient temperature should not fall below -18°C.
Assembly
1) Install the left guide on the house with the self-tapping screws.
2) Slide the door into the left guides.

3) Install the right guide on the house with self-tapping screws. Check that the
door slides smoothly along the guides.
TIP: If the door moves too heavily, check if the guides are not too tight.
Alternatively, a suitable lubricant can be used.

4) Unscrew the screws securing the front panel of the controller and remove
the battery compartment. Install 4 AA batteries and insert the compartment
back.

5) Install the controller over the entrance using the self-tapping screws. Tie a
knot near the end of the cable, manually move the door up and tie it to the
cable (make sure the cable is hanging vertically).

6) Cover the light sensor with the black cap provided. The door will close. Press
and hold the "UP (RST)" button and the door will begin to open. Uncover the
light sensor when the door is at the correct height (it will uncover the
entrance). Release the "UP (RST)" button. Put the transparent cover of the
controller back.

Operating the light sensitivity regulator

•Using a flat head screwdriver (not supplied), turn the knob towards the moon
symbol to open the door earlier and close later.
•Using a flat head screwdriver (not supplied), turn the knob towards the sun
symbol to open the door later and close earlier.
Adjusting the door height
a) Open the transparent cover of the controller.
b) Cover the light sensor with the black plug provided - the door will close.
c) Press and hold the "UP (RST)" button - the door will begin to open.
d) Uncover the light sensor when the door is at the correct height (it will uncover
the entrance).
e) Release the "UP (RST)" button
f) Put the transparent cover of the controller back.
Manually opening/closing of the door
•When the door is open, press the "UP (RST)" button to temporarily close the
door manually (the door will open automatically after 3 minutes).
•When the door is closed, press the "UP (RST)" button to temporarily open the
door manually (the door will close automatically after 3 minutes).

Frequency of battery replacement
Typically, the batteries will last for about 6 months of operation. When the
temperature is lower, the energy consumption is higher. Battery life also depends on
their quality.
When the red indicator light flashes in small intervals or the device has stopped
working completely, the batteries should be replaced. It is recommended to avoid the
use of rechargeable batteries as voltage drops may occur during very low ambient
temperatures.
Make sure that the new batteries are not discharged and that they are installed
according to the polarity indicated on their housing and on the battery compartment.
Testing the driver
a) Open the transparent cover of the controller.
b) Adjust the light sensitivity control so that the arrow points to 8 o'clock (on the
imaginary clock face).
c) Disconnect the plug of the battery compartment from the printed circuit board
(PCB)
d) Press the "UP (RST)" button and at the same time connect the plug of the
battery compartment to the printed circuit board (PCB).
e) When the red indicator light is on, the controller will enter the test mode.
f) STEP 1: TEST THE LIGHT SENSOR
Cover the light sensor with the black plug, the red indicator light
should turn off (this is the correct response of the controller).

Remove the cap and press the “UP (RST)” button to proceed to the
next test point.
g) STEP 2: TEST THE SLIDER
Pushing the slider to the left should turn off the red indicator light.

Press the "UP (RST)" button to move to the next test point.
h) STEP 3: TEST THE MOTOR
The motor will rotate the drum by extending the cable and then
pulling it back in. If the controller is tested without the door, it is
recommended to tighten the cable slightly by hand (do not use
excessive force and do not block the winding of the cable on the drum
as this may damage the unit).
i) Disconnect the battery compartment plug from the printed circuit board (PCB)
to complete the test.
3.4. Cleaning and maintenance
a) Before cleaning the device, remove the batteries.
b) Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning the surfaces.
c) After each cleaning, all the parts should be dried well before the unit is used
again.
d) Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
e) Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or immerse it in water.
f) Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
g) Do not leave the batteries in the unit when it will not be used for a long time.
SAFE DISPOSAL OF DISPOSABLE/RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
The appliances are equipped with AA batteries.
Remove used batteries from the unit in the same way you put them in.
Return the batteries to a unit responsible for their disposal.
DISPOSAL OF WASTE APPLIANCES
At the end of its useful life, this product should not be disposed of with normal
household waste but should be taken to a collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipment. This is indicated by the symbol on the
product, operating instructions or packaging. The materials used in this appliance
are recyclable according to their marking. By reuse, recycling or applying other
forms of use of waste machines, you make a significant contribution to the
protection of our environment.
Your local administration will provide you with information about the appropriate
disposal point for used appliances.

Open the panel. Press and hold the UP (RST) button
for a few seconds to rotate the gear wheel. Once
the correct position is found, untangle the rope
from the gear wheel. Press the "UP (RST)" button to
clear the error. The door will perform a functional
test and then return to normal operation.
Wrong rope winding
direction
Press the “UP (RST)” button and pull the rope down
until the rope is fully unwound, then wind it in the
correct direction. When the rope is shortened to
the appropriate entry height, release the button,
the door will perform a functional test and return to
normal operation.
Error 4

The door is not tied
Tie the door. Wait 8 seconds, the door will perform
a functional test and then resume normal

The door is too light
Use a door weighing between 300g and 1kg. After
reattaching the door, wait 8 seconds, the door will

Replace the door with a lighter one.

The door is blocked
Check that the door is not blocked by obstacles.
After removing the obstacles, press the “UP (RST)”
button to clear the error. The door will perform a
functional test and then resume normal operation.

the bottom of the door or in the way of its usual
movement. When removed, the door will close
automatically.
