1. Introduction
The PL-81850 is a high-performance desktop networki
ng system based on Intel®
Denverton-NS ™ Processor. This new generation platform provides high performance from a
2/4 SoC processor, that supports up to 20 PCIe lanes with exible network expansion.
The PL-81850 is an enhancement in computing performance and system responsiveness with
the Intel® Denverton-NS™ processor, coupled with four DDR4 ECC SODIMMs (up to 2133
MHz) and yielding a maximum memory capacity of up to 32GB. PL-81850 is able to support
miniPCIe x3, (mini-PCIe to VGA / miniPCIe for Wi-Fi / miniPCIe for mSATA), 1 x RJ45 Console
port. 2x USB 3.0, and LEDs for Power/HDD/Bypass LEDs / LAN active & Link status, and 2 pair
Bypass LAN port functions.
PL-81850 supports 1 x mSATA Slot; and 1 x 2.5" SATA HDD for basic network storage
applications.

4. BIOS Setup
Follow steps below to enter the BIOS setup utilit :
1. Connect a computer keyboard and Display to the device.
2. Power on the device.
3. Press the <Delete> key during the boot-up.
4. Then the BIOS main screen shows.
Operation instructions:
Arrow key [<--] [-->]: Navigate through setup screens, e.g. [Main], [Advanced], [Chipset], [Boot],
[Securit ], [Save & Exit] and [Server Mgmt]
Arrow key [↑] [↓]: Highlight an item opUon on a setup screen
[Enter]: select the highlighted item option or enter the sub-menu under the highlighted
item option
[ESC]: exit the current screen
[+] [-] = to adjust values for the selected setup item option
The following sections describe the BIOS setup. BIOS settings of this module can be viewed and set via
BIOS settings. It is strongly recommended that only users with profound experiences are allowed to
change the default BIOS settings.
