A. Unwrapping and installing the SMF-lter.
Gently remove the dehumidifer from
the box. Make sure to that you don’t
thow away any important objects that
are included in the box.
1.
If there is already a lter attached to your dehumidier,
please remove it before installing the SMF-lter.
2.
Take out the lter and the
frame from the bag.
Attach the frame to the dehumidifer. Use the foam tape to
make the connection tight and the plastic plugs to attach
the frame.
3. 4.
Insert the lter in the frame. Put the lid on. If you need to replace an
existing lter, lift up the lid and remove the old lter. Insert a new lter
and put the lid back.
5.
Connect the dehumidier to a power source.
NOTE! Always use a grounded power source.
The unit has two controls, the hygrostat (top) and the fan
speed selector (bottom). To switch the unit on, turn the hy-
grostat clock wise until you hear a ‘click’, the unit starts.
1. 2.
B. Starting your dehumidier
For continuous dehumidfying, turn
the hygrostat to its maximum value.
Use a hygrometer to monitor the
humidity level of the room.When
desired humidity level is reached,
turn the hygrostat counter clock
wise until the unit stops.
When the humidity level rises the
unit will automatically start again.
Tip!
Recommended humidity level is
between 50-60% RH.
(RH = relative humidity).
The condensated water is collected in the
water tank on the back of the unit. When the
bucket is full, the unit automatically shuts off
and a red light on the front is illuminated.
To empty the water bucket, gently pull it out and pour
out the water. Reinsert the water bucket and make
sure that the oat is allowed to hang freely inside.
3. 4.
You can also attach a water hose to the machine. This way you don’t have to empty the water bucket, the
water will be continuously drained.
Attach the hose tting connection to
the machine.
Fasten a water hose to the connec-
tion. Use a 1/2 inch water hose.
Lead the water hose to a drainage.
Make sure that the water is drained
downwards.
As there is no pump in the unit, you
must let gravity do the work!
