E>GO naviceiver – 100 % custom-fit
E>GO is an innovative concept from ZENEC, the leading multimedia
specialist. Exchange and GO – E>GO for short – stands for a new gene-
ration of naviceivers and moniceivers, whose construction and design
is custom-fit to the interior of various types of automobiles.
Navigation, entertainment, communication – the ZE-NC3810 navicei-
ver is a complex navigation and multimedia system with a large range
of features. ZENEC‘s new top-of-the-line model fits together visually
with FORD Mondeo, Focus and S-Max.
The red button illumination and the customized design of the front pa-
nel makes the E>GO not only perfect for the respective look of the car
interior, but the E>GO is also effortlessly integrated into the existing
automotive electronics. ZE-NC3810 can be installed into the original
dash board of the above named automobiles without further modifica-
tions and without any additional adapters: simply take out the factory
radio, put in the E>GO and drive off.

Foolproof connection
The connection to the factory-made steering wheel
remote control is no problem: Simply connect it with
the included plug and operate the E>GO via the steering
wheel remote control.
Ingeniously easy operation
All functions are comfortably operated using the touch
screen: From the operation of the navigation or the
iPod/iPhone and the hands-free equipment to additional
components like a DVB-T tuner or rear view camera.
Perfect integration
The design of the ZE-NC3810 is specifically tailored to
match up with the interior of FORD including the button
illumination in red and the elegant front.
iPod and iPhone ready
As a matter of course, the ZE-NC3810 is iPod and iPhone ready for all
models (compatibility list on www.zenec.com). The connection is made
with a ZE-NC-IPS interface cable (available separately). Complete com-
patibility means that video data, podcasts, etc. can be played back and
controlled via touchscreen.
First-class navigation
The integrated navigation system of the ZE-NC3810 is absolutely
upper class: maps covering 43 European countries, TMC and TMC
Pro receivers, tunnel mode, lane assistant, 3-D landscape/city map
views or the highway split screen display mode with real signpost
rendering (display of the highway signs on the map) – these features
underline the high standard with which the top-of-the-line ZENEC
E>GO navigates.
Pure infotainment
When it comes to the top-of-the-line naviceiver equipment, all wishes
have been fulfilled: The built-in CD/DVD drive plays all the current A/V
formats. The electrical and mechanical anti-shock system provides for
perfect image and sound fidelity during the ride. In addition to an RDS
tuner for the best radio reception, the ZE-NC3810 is also equipped with
an integrated digital power amplifier (4 x 50 watts) and a Dolby digital
decoder.
The E>GO has a USB-Port and a SD/SDHC card reader so music, mo-
vies, multimedia files or photos can be easily played back. The card slot
is easily accessible on the front and is useable for SD and SDHC cards
up to 8 GB of memory.
Communication made easy
The ZE-NC3810 is equipped with an advanced CK5050+ Bluetooth
system from Parrot. This makes playing music from a mobile phone
and making phone calls in the car as simple as child‘s play.

The 6.5“ touchscreen display is top
quality: A non-reflecting TFT LCD pa-
nel with LED backlight delivers sharp,
brilliant and high-contrast pictures –
even with poor lighting conditions.
All of the functions can be comfor-
tably controlled using the touch sen-
sitive panel. A Dual-Main- GUI (gra-
phic user interface) with two main
planes and large display icons make
sure that the E>GO can be unerringly
operated during the ride.

Integrated full-feature navigation
Navigate unerringly via touchscreen in all of western and eastern Eu-
rope – with its integrated navigation system, the naviceiver ZE-NC3810
reliably shows you the way in more than 43 countries. Due to the
400 MHz CPU (128 MB SD RAM) and the customized Nav-Engine soft-
ware, the route calculation is very fast.
Enter the desired destination thereby choosing between the various
destination and route entries – through address, ZIP/postal code, POI,
saved/last found destinations. etc. – and you are ready to go.
Your electronic copilot guides you to your destination without detours
and shows you, if you so wish, relevant points such as gas stations,
hotels, restaurants, parking lots, etc.
3-D landscape or 3-D city map views with buildings, places of interest, and maps
Unmistakable navigation is ensured through a clear graphic map display,
where various scales and view modes are available in 2-D and 3-D, as
well as precise voice guidance (in 28 languages) and an easily under-
standable GUI display (also in 28 languages). The automatic zoom at
intersections or traffic circles makes sure that there is no confusion
even at difficult locations. Tunnel mode and lane assistant plus the 3-D
landscape or 3-D city map views (with buildings, places of interest, and
city maps) simplify the navigation just as well as the highway split screen
mode with real signpost rendering (the display of signs in real-time on
the map).

Map view in 3-D in adjustable scales The map display can be set facing north or in
the direction of travel in the 2-D mode.
Contained in the set: An external GPS receiver
and external TMC and TMC Pro receiver, which
make current traffic repor ts available. With TMC
you will be informed about traf fic jams or other
obstructions on your route in a timely manner.
The navigation system automatically gives you
alternative route suggestions so you can avoid
annoying tr af fic jams and unnecessar y delays
during your journey.
Map updates and new features
You can update the ZE-NC3810 content package, expand the navisec-
tion with additional maps, or download the newest 3-D city bundles
using the website zenec.naviextras.com anytime, in the middle of the
night or even during a journey. The website zenec.naviextras.com ma-
kes it easier than ever before to keep your navigation system up-to-date
and individually put the new features and functions together.

Updates secure the future
Many options allow for you to always be kept
up to date with the ZE-NC3810, for example up-
dating the ZENEC equipment software via USB
port – with the E>GO even the CAN-Bus interface
log can be updated. Even the system software is
updatable (to implement functions still to come)
and the Parrot Bluetooth module firmware – so
that the ZENEC equipment is always compatible
with new peripheral devices.
Software updates for all ZENEC E>GO equipment
can be downloaded conveniently from the inter-
net at www.zenec.com (menu item Support).
Additional components from the ZENEC program
The ZENEC program has a wide palette of multimedia-based additional com-
ponents that are optimally suited to the E>GO ZE-NC3810. All equipment –
external monitors, DVB-T tuners or rear view cameras – can be connected
directly to the naviceiver; the settings can be operated via touchscreen or with
the ZE-NC3810 IR remote control.

The installation of the ZE-NC3810 is uncomplicated: Simply connect the E>GO
with the vehicle’s plug, plug in the UKW and GPS antenna cable and you can
then mount the E>GO into the radio slot of the dashboard.
Connection to the CAN-Bus
The E>GO is connected to the vehicle’s CAN using a CAN/Stalk interface (inclu-
ded in delivery) plugged into the connection cable and is integrated optimally in
the vehicle‘s internal data communication network. Driver information displays
are not supported by ZE-NC3810 – in vehicles that have an optical parking
system ex factory, the data from that function is read out by the CAN-Bus and
shown on the ZE-NC3810 display.
Connection to the steering wheel remote control
Factory-installed steering wheel remote controls stay fully functional with
E>GO: The A/V functions of the E>GOs are connected to the steering wheel
remote control via Interface with the FORD CAN-Bus. Each A/V source (radio,
MP3, USB, etc.) including the hands-free function can be easily operated – ex
factory - via the steering wheel remote control.
Ease of installation/user friendliness
Medialink box
Especially practical: USB-port or iPod
connectionand plug 3.5mm A/V port are
in the very compact included Medialink
box. The relatively small Medialink
box (with 1.5 m cable extension) can
be placed in the center console or in
the glove compartment or wherever
it can be reached conveniently. This
makes it possible to quickly connect
and disconnect additional A/V data
sources/components.
A/V-Input
iPod/iPhone
iPod and iPhone can be connected to
the media link box with the adapter
cable ZE-NC-IPS (available separate-
ly). The connection using the USB high
speed bus not only allows for quick ac-
cess to all files, but also the control of
videos via the naviceiver touchscreen.
Naturally the iPod and iPhone are being
charged during playback.

Communication via Bluetooth
Make phone calls and play music from your mobile phone: ZENEC‘s naviceiver
makes interconnection and convenient operation of a Bluetooth compatible
mobile phone from a ZE-NC3810 control possible. The ZE-NC3810 is equipped
with the CK5050+ BT module from hands-free specialist Parrot. In addition to
the hands-free application, audio files from a mobile phone can be read-out
(audio streaming via A2DP with AVRCP-profile) and played back in superb
quality through the car‘s speakers and operated by touchscreen.
Convenient hands-free talking
The new Parrot Bluetooth module marks an improvement in mobile communi-
cation: advanced signal processing technology, the so called Parrot Beamfor-
ming, is provided through a multi-directional, freely positionable microphone.
With this technology, all surrounding noises and echo effects are eliminated
so that the voice is clearer.
Hands-Free during the drive – the caller number, phone book entries and other
information is clearly shown on the ZE-NC3810 display. The address book of
the naviceiver is automatically synchronized with the mobile phone. The Parrot
module enables an alphanumeric sorting of phone book entries with an addi-
tional search function – a feature that guarantees ease in finding phone book
entries, especially for professional use.
