Installing the UIM Card and Battery
SwitchoffyourphonebeforeinstallingorreplacingthebatteryandUIMcard.
1. Removethebackcover.
2. Holdthe UIM card with the cut corner oriented as shown and slip it
intothecardholder.
3. Insertthebattery byaligningthegoldcontacts onthebatterywiththe
goldcontacts in the battery compartment. Gently push down on the
batteryuntilitclicksintoplace.
4. Pressthecovergentlybackintoplaceuntilyouhearaclick.
Charging the Battery
1. Plugout rubberaway fromthejack onthe bot-
tomof the handset and connect the lead from
thecharger to the socket on the bottom of the
phone.(Note:The sidewitharrowshould be
uprightwhileconnecting).
2. ConnectthechargertoastandardwallAC
socket.
3. Whenthe charginganimation on the screen stops, the chargingis
completed.Thecharging takesusuallyupto 2~3hours. During
charging,itisanormalphenomenon thatthebattery,phoneand char-
germaygethot.
4. Afterthecompletion ofcharging,disconnect thechargerfrom the
phoneandACsocket.

Pleasehold theEnd keytopower on/offthe phone.Thephonewill auto-
maticallysearchforthenetworkwhenitispoweredon.

WhenPIN lock is on, you should enter the PIN code when opening the
handsetagain.
PUK Code:Consecutive inputting wrong PIN code for threetimes can
causelockingofUIMcard.Tounlock,youneedPUKcode.
Note:
PINcodeandPUKcodemaybeofferedtogetherwith theUIMcard.Ifnot,

Thelimitation times for consecutive wrong code may vary with different
