Installing the UIM Card and Battery
SwitchoffyourphonebeforeinstallingorreplacingthebatteryandUIMcard.
1. Removethebackcover.
2. Holdthe UIM card with the cut corner oriented as shown and slip it
intothecardholder.
3. Insertthebattery byaligningthegoldcontacts onthebatterywiththe
goldcontacts in the battery compartment. Gently push down on the
batteryuntilitclicksintoplace.
4. Pressthecovergentlybackintoplaceuntilyouhearaclick.
Charging the Battery
1. Plugout rubberaway fromthejack onthe bot-
tomof the handset and connect the lead from
thecharger to the socket on the bottom of the
phone.(Note:The sidewitharrowshould be
uprightwhileconnecting).
2. ConnectthechargertoastandardwallAC
socket.
3. Whenthe charginganimation on the screen stops, the chargingis
completed.Thecharging takesusuallyupto 2~3hours. During
charging,itisanormalphenomenon thatthebattery,phoneand char-
germaygethot.
4. Afterthecompletion ofcharging,disconnect thechargerfrom the
phoneandACsocket.
Powering on/off Your Phone
Pleasehold theEnd keytopower on/offthe phone.Thephonewill auto-
maticallysearchforthenetworkwhenitispoweredon.

PIN Code: PINcodecould preventyourUIMcardfromunauthorized use.
WhenPIN lock is on, you should enter the PIN code when opening the
handsetagain.
PUK Code:Consecutive inputting wrong PIN code for threetimes can
causelockingofUIMcard.Tounlock,youneedPUKcode.
Note:
PINcodeandPUKcodemaybeofferedtogetherwith theUIMcard.Ifnot,
pleasecontactwithnetworkoperator.
Thelimitation times for consecutive wrong code may vary with different

Thiswarranty is end user ’ssole remedy and ZTE’s sole liability for de-
fectiveor nonconforming items,and isinlieu ofall otherwarranties,
expressed,implied or statutory,including but not limited to the implied
warrantiesof merchantability and tness for a particular purpose, unless
