Introduction
TheetisalateasynetHSDPAUSB modem is a multi-mode, 3G USB modem, working in HSDPA/WCDMA/EDGE/GPRS/
GSMnetworks.WithUSBinterfaceconnectingtoa laptop or a desktop PC, it integrates the functionality of a modem and
amobilephone(SMSonly), andcombinesmobile communicationwithInternet perfectly.Itsupports dataandSMS services

4SIM/USIM Card Holder Thisis the subscriber identity module/UMTSsubscriber identity
module (SIM/USIM) card slot.

Set up your modem
1) Insert the SIM/USIM card into the USB modem

1Putfinger on the bottom finger grip, andthen lift thefront cover torelease and remove.
Note:Don’topenthecoverrudelytoavoid the damage of the front cover.
2InserttheSIM/USIM card with the metal contact area facingdownwards into the slot, andthen push SIM/USIM card
asfar as possible.
3Putthe front coverofthemodem flatly uponthebodyof modem.
2) Connect your modem to the laptop or desktop PC
1Plugthe USB connector into your computer’sUSB portand make surethat it istightly inserted.
2TheOSautomaticallydetectsandrecognizesnewhardwareandstarts the installation wizard.
Software installation guide
 For Windows OS
Yoursystemwillstartthe software setup process automatically when you connect the modem to your computer correctly.
Followthe system prompts to complete the softwareinstallation.
Note: If the system does not launch installation automatically, you can run the installation program in path of My
ComputertetisalateasynettInstall.exe.
 For Mac OS
Thesystemwillautomaticallydisplayaetisalateasynet CD-ROMicon onthedesktop,whenyouconnectthemodemto your
computercorrectly. Double click the installation software package in the etisalat easynet, and follow the system prompts
tocomplete the software installation.
Hardware removal from your system
Closethe etisalateasynetmanagement software,andthen removeyourmodem safely.
How to use your modem
Enablequickoperation of the following functions:

andobeyallwarningsignsand switch off your modem in these conditions.
Click“Connect”buttontoconnecttotheInternet.
Click “SMS” icon, enter recipient’s number and content, and then click “Send” to send new
message.
Click“New” to fill in anew contactperson andcontact details.
SettheconfigurationfortheUSBmodem.
Click“My Account” to check your balance,to recharge andalso use otherUSSD functions.

Onlyuse original accessoriessuppliedby the manufacturer. Usingunauthorizedaccessories may void yourwarranty.
Avoidusing theUSBmodem near orinsidemetallic structuresorestablishments that canemitelectromagnetic waves.
TheUSB Modem is not waterproof,please keepit dry andstore itin acool place outof directsunlight.
HandletheUSBmodemwithcare.Don’tdrop,bend,knockortreatit harshly to avoid damage to the unit.
Thereare no user serviceable parts. Dismantling theunit will voidthe warranty.
Operatingtemperaturerangeof-10°C~+60°C and humidity 5%~95% are recommended.
