•Press Connect tostartadataconnectionusingyourUSB
modem
•Launchyourintendedapplication,egwebbrowser,email etc.
•Whenyou havefinishedyourinternetoremailconnection
remembertoreturn tothesoftwareinterfaceandpress
Disconnect to endyoursession
•Whenthesoftwareisminimiseddouble clicktheicononthe
task bar to re-openthe ConnectionManager.
•Note thatyourUSBmodemislockedtotheSkinnynetwork.
Contactyourcarrierto unlockyourdevice.Chargesmay apply.
TIP
Afterthe computerwakesfromhibernationorstandbymode you
may needto remove andre-insertthe modem.

Task barinformation
Whenyou minimisethesoftwarethewindowwill minimisetoan
icononthesystemtray.Theprogramisstill activeinthe
backgroundbutdisappearstofree yournormalWindowsspace.
Double clickthe task bar iconto restore the ConnectionManager.
RightClick the task bariconto access the followingmenu:

Openthe helpfile

Close the software andswitchoff the modem
Safe Removal ofHardware
ToremoveyourUSB modemfromthecomputerfirstclosethe
ConnectionManagerthenusethesaferemoval ofhardwareprocess
forWindows.Ifyou removetheUSB modemwhenit isactivethe
Phonebookrecordsmay become corrupted.
Safelyremovethemodem, eg.Windows Systems:
•Leftclickthe iconontheWindowstaskbar
•ClickonSafelyRemove Hardware
•Remove the USB modem

Clickthe SMS buttonto use the SMSInterface:
ReadIncomingMessages
Theinboxisdisplayedbydefault.Selectamessagefromthe Inbox.
The messagecontentanddetailsaredisplayedinthewindow
belowthe inboxsummarylist.

Create a newmessage
•SelectNew andenterthe recipient’snumber
•Use ‘;’ to separate multiple recipientsifrequired
•Press To forthePhonebook interface
•Clickinto the text fieldto entertext
•Click Send whenfinishedor Save to store in Drafts
•Afterthe message issentitissavedinthe Outbox.
•Ifthe message failsto sendthe iconismarkedwitharedcross

Pleasenote:
Themaximum numberofcharactersperSMS is160.Ifyousend
morethan1SMS youwillget chargedformultiplemessages.

Clickthe Phonebook buttonto selectthe phonebookinterface.
SelectfromPC orUSIM:
Tocreateanewcontactclick New NewContact,enterthe
detailsandselect OK to finish.
You can choosethe Savelocation as thePC ortheUSIMcard.The
defaultlocationisonthe PC.
