Seeyond Tiles (Back Side)
The back side of the partition will mainly be in clusters of 4, but for features with odd amounts of rows and columns there will be
single and double tiles. The tiles will be labeled with a Tile ID referencing location and the letter "B" (e.g. A1-B, B1-B).
Seeyond Tiles (Front Side)
The front side tiles (labeled with an “F” after the Tile ID, e.g.
A1F, B1F) will be as individual tiles.
Baseplates
A ¾" thick melamine baseplate will be provided for the
partition. This baseplate will be anchored to the ground
and then the tiles attached to the baseplate. The baseplate
footprint is ¾" less on each open side (1½" overall less than
length and width). The baseplates are not undersized on
sides that are adjacent to other baseplates.

Installation
Required Tools
1Arrange Seeyond Tiles
Arrange the Seeyond Tiles in order. Tiles are arranged with columns designated by letters and rows designated by numbers.
Start with A1 which will be the irst tile (irst row, irst column). There will be a front set of tiles designated by "F" and a back
set of tiles designated by "B" (e.g. A1F, A1B).

2Attach Baseplate to Floor
Using a mortar bit for ⁄" fastener and hammer drill
(or ⁄" drill bit for wood), pre-drill holes into the loor.

3Attach Bottom Row of Back Tiles to
Baseplate
Position the bottom row of back tiles (A1B, B1B) then
(C1B, D1B) on the baseplate. The magnets should
help you align these properly.

bNext install the baseplates using the included screws
(315-842).

Optional: You can also mount the baseplate to the
loor by using 3M VHB tape 0.060" or thicker. We
recommend using VHB 4991 or VHB 4624. Apply tape
every 12" as shown in diagram below.
Mark the loor where you intend to install the Seeyond
Partition. Once the position is marked, position the
baseplate. The actual partition overlaps the baseplate
on all sides by ¾" (except where adjacent to another
baseplate) so keep that in mind when positioning the
baseplate. If using anchors follow Steps 2a-b, if using
VHB Tape follow Step 2c.

bFirst, using zip ties, connect each of these clusters
together through the holes between the panels. Pull
each zip tie snug. There should be 6 zip ties per tile.
When the whole bottom row has been joined together
with zip ties anchor the clusters to the baseplate.

Connect Clusters Together
Using the screws (385-15) with the washers
(385-16), screw through the inside of the bottom
Seeyond Tiles and into the melamine baseplate until
snug. Be careful not to over tighten as this will strip
out the melamine and provide a poor anchor point.
This will be the anchor point between the melamine
base and the structure. There should be 4 anchors per
tile.

4Connect Clusters Together cont...
Using zip ties, connect tile clusters together both
along the vertical and horizontal seams to complete
the back side of the partition.
Next attach the front tiles to the partition. Pre-installed
magnets will attach the front tiles to the back wall of
tiles. Start on the bottom left (A1F) and work your way
across the row before building upwards.

Seeyond Tiles are oered in various sizes. All dimensions and
squareness are subject to a 2% tolerance.
Create a private space, contain sound, and build a more comfortable environment with this absorptive, modular tile system.
Seeyond is a series of lightweight dimensional tiles made from Acoustic Felt and boasts an NRC rating of 1.10. When combined
with Acoustic Foam, Seeyond has an NRC of 1.10. Use Seeyond to build walls, divide a space, or create unique features that will
leave a lasting impression.
Cleaning Instructions
Seeyond Tiles should be cleaned periodically. A regular,
seasonal cleaning program will dramatically help prevent
noticeable weathering and dirt build-up.
To remove airborne debris and dust, it is recommended to
periodically vacuum Seeyond Tiles. Please note the slight
shedding of ibers from the Felt is normal and not indicative of
any defect.
To treat liquid stains, remove spills immediately using a clean
damp cotton cloth or with detergent soap and warm water.
Carpet and fabric cleaners can usually be used; always test an
inconspicuous area before the actual stain.
Do:
• Vacuum or use a soft brush to clean Hush Base.
Do not:
• Use strong solvents, highly alkaline or abrasive cleaning
agents.
• Do not completely saturate module with cleaning solution
or water.
