zierungszentrum, Gartenstrasse 133, 73430 Aalen, Germany (Notified body 0196).
This product has been produced to comply with the requirements of the Australian
Standards AS/NZS 1337:1992 and 1338.1:1992 under an agreed production
certification scheme operated during manufacture in accordance with the SAI Global
Standards Mark programme.

USER INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these instructions in conjunction with other
relevant 3M User instructions for 3M Speedglas welding
filters, 3M air delivery units and Reference leaflets where
you will find information on approved combinations of Air
Delivery Units, spare parts and accessories.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The 3M Speedglas 9100FX help protect the wearer‘s eyes
and face from sparks/spatter, harmful ultra-violet radiation
(UV) and infra-red radiation (IR) resulting from certain arc/
gas welding processes. The product is designed to be used
only with 3M Speedglas 9100 welding filters and protection
plates. The 3M Speedglas 9100FX air also protects against
certain airborne contaminants when used with an approved
Air Delivery Unit.
WARNING
Proper selection, training, use and maintenance are
essential in order for the product to help protect the
wearer. Failure to follow all instructions on the use of
these protection products and/or failure to properly wear
the complete product during all periods of exposure may
adversely affect the wearer’s health, lead to severe or life
threatening illness, injury or permanent disability.
For suitability and proper use follow local regulations, refer
to all information supplied.
Particular attention should be given to warning
statements where indicated.
APPROVALS
These products meet the requirements of the European
Community Directive 89/686/EEC (Personal Protective
Equipment Directive) and are thus CE marked. The
products comply with the harmonized European Standards
EN 175 and EN 166. Certification under Article 10, EC
Type-Examination has been issued by DIN Certco Prüf-
und Zertifierungszentrum (Notified body number 0196).
Speedglas 9100 FX air respiratory systems complies with
the harmonized standards EN 12941 resp EN 14594.
Certification under article 11, EC type examination has been
issued by INSPEC International Ltd (Notified body number
0194).
LIMITATIONS OF USE
Only use with original 3M Speedglas brand spare
parts and accessories listed in the reference leaflet
and within the usage conditions given in the Technical
Specifications.
The use of substitute components or modifications
not specified in these user instructions might seriously
impair protection and may invalidate claims under the
warranty or cause the product to be noncompliant with
protection classifications and approvals.
Eye protectors worn over standard ophthalmic
spectacles may transmit impacts thus creating a hazard
to the wearer.
The Speedglas welding shield is not designed for heavy
duty overhead welding/cutting operations due to the risk
of burns from falling molten metal.
The SideWindows should be covered with the cover
plates in situations when other welders are working
beside you and in situations where reflected light can
pass through the SideWindows (see fig I:1)
Materials which may come into contact with the wearer’s
skin are not known to cause allergic reactions to the
majority of individuals. These products do not contain
components made from natural rubber latex.
3M™SPEEDGLAS™FX AIR
Do not use for respiratory protection against unknown
atmospheric contaminants or when concentrations of
contaminants are unknown or immediately dangerous to
life or health (IDLH).
Do not use in atmospheres containing less than 19.5%
oxygen (3M definition. Individual countries may apply
their own limits on oxygen deficiency. Seek advice if in
doubt). Do not use these products in oxygen or oxygen-
enriched atmospheres.
Leave the contaminated area immediately if: Any part
of the system becomes damaged, airflow into the
headtop decreases or stops, breathing becomes difficult,
dizziness or other distress occurs, you smell or taste
contaminants or irritation occurs.
High winds above 2m/s, or very high work rates (where
the pressure within the headtop can become negative)
can reduce protection. Adjust equipment as appropriate
or consider an alternative form of respiratory protective
device.
Users should be clean-shaven where the respirator’s
face seal comes into contact with the face.

PREPARATION FOR USE
Carefully check that the product is complete (see fig A:1),
undamaged and correctly assembled, any damaged or
defective parts must be replaced before each use.
The welding shield is heat resistant but can catch fire or
melt in contact with open flames or very hot surfaces.
Keep the shield clean to minimize this risk.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Adjust the welding shield according to your individual
requirements to reach the highest comfort and protection.
(see fig B:1 - B:4).
3M™Speedglas™FX air
Adjust and fit the Air Delivery Unit as outlined in the
appropriate User Instruction. Adjust the face seal to suit the
shape of the face. (see fig H:8)
It is important that the face seal is correctly mounted
and fitted to provide the correct protection factor. Do not
remove the welding shield or turn off the air supply until
you have vacated the contaminated area.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Clean the welding shield with a mild detergent and water.
To avoid damage to the shield do not use solvents for
cleaning. Clean the head cover according to the washing
instruction on the product label.
MAINTENANCE

Worn out product parts should be disposed of according
to local regulations.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Do not store outside the temperature range - 30°C to +70°C
or with humidity above 90%. The original packaging is
suitable for transporting.

BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG
BittelesenSiedievorliegendeBedienungsanleitungunbedingt
im Zusammenhang mit den Bedienungsanleitungen zu den
3M Speedglas Blendschutzkassetten, den 3M Gebläse-
und Druckluftsystemen sowie den Referenztabellen auf
dem Merkblatt. Hier finden Sie Informationen zu allen
zugelassenen Produktkombinationen sowie Ersatz- und
Zubehörteilen.
PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
Die 3M Speedglas Schweißerkopfteile 9100FX
schützen den Anwender vor Schweißfunken und vor
gesundheitsschädigender UV- und IR-Strahlung, die bei
den meisten Schweißverfahren auftreten.
Die vorliegenden Speedglas 9100FX Schweißerkopfteile
dürfen nur in Kombination mit den 3M Speedglas
Blendschutzkassetten der Serie 9100 sowie den
entsprechenden Vorsatzscheiben eingesetzt werden.
In Kombination mit einem Gebläse- oder Druckluftsystem
bietet das Kopfteil einen zusätzlichen Atemschutz
gegenüber einer Vielzahl von Schadstoffen, die beim
Schweißen freiwerden können.
WARNHINWEISE
Die richtige Produktauswahl, entsprechende Schulung
und Unterweisung sowie regelmäßige Überprüfung und
Wartung der Ausrüstung sind Grundvoraussetzungen für
den sicheren Betrieb und höchstmöglichen Schutz des
Anwenders. Die Nichtbeachtung dieser Anweisungen und
Warnhinweise sowie die unsachgemäße Verwendung
dieses Produktes können zu Gesundheitsschäden oder
lebensgefährlichen Verletzungen führen. Bitte beachten
Sie neben den vorliegenden Anleitungen auch alle lokalen
Anweisungen und Vorgaben.
Bitte beachten Sie besonders die mit einem
gekennzeichneten Informationen dieser
Bedienungsanleitung.
ZULASSUNG
Das vorliegenden Produkte entsprechen den
Sicherheitsanforderungen der EG-Richtlinie 89/686 und
sind mit dem CE-Zeichen gekennzeichnet. Sie entsprechen
den Vorgaben der EN 175 und EN 166. Die Zertifizierung
nach Artikel 10 sowie die CE Baumusterprüfung erfolgte bei
folgendem Prüfinstitut:
DIN Certco Prüf- und Zertifizierungszentrum (0196).
In Kombination mit einem Gebläse- oder Druckluft-
Atemschutzsystem entsprechen die 3M Speedglas 9100FX
Schweißerkopfteile den Vorgaben der EN12941 bzw.
EN14594. Die Zertifizierung nach Artikel 11 sowie die CE
Baumusterprüfung erfolgte bei folgendem Prüfinstitut:

EINSATZBESCHRÄNKUNGEN
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich originale 3M Speedglas
Ersatz- und Zubehörteile, die in der Referenztabelle auf
dem beigefügten Merkblatt gelistet sind und beachten
Sie die Einsatzbedingungen, die im Kapitel „Technische
Daten“ beschrieben sind.
Ändern oder modifizieren Sie das Atemschutzgerät
niemals. Sollten Teile ausgetauscht werden müssen,
benutzen Sie ausschließlich originale 3M Ersatz- und
Zubehörteile. Die Nichtbeachtung dieser Anweisungen
sowie die unsachgemäße Verwendung dieses Produktes
können zu lebensgefährlichen Verletzungen oder
gravierenden Materialschäden führen, die eventuelle
Gewährleistungs- oder Haftungsansprüche nichtig
machen. Setzen Sie das vorliegende Produkt nur in
Kombination mit den in der Referenztabelle genannten
Schweißerkopfteilen ein.
Träger von Korrekturbrillen sollten sich der Tatsache
bewusst sein, dass beim Auftreten von starker
Stoßenergie von außen das Visier des Kopfteils sich
so nach innen verformen kann, dass dadurch die
Korrekturbrille aus der gewählten Position gebracht
oder sogar deformiert werden kann. Hierdurch besteht
eine potenzielle Verletzungsgefahr für den Träger des
Kopfteils.
Das vorliegende Schweißerkopfteil ist nicht zum
Überkopf- Schweißen oder –Schneiden geeignet. Hier
besteht eine Verletzungsgefahr durch das Herabfallen
der Metallschmelze.
In Arbeitssituationen, in denen weitere Schweißer
neben Ihnen arbeiten, sollten die die Seitenfenster
des Schweißerkopfteils mit den dafür vorgesehenen
Abdeckungen verdunkeln, um eine Blendung zu
vermeiden (Abb. I:1)
Bei den im Kopfteil verarbeiteten Materialien, mit denen
der Anwender in Hautkontakt kommen kann, gibt es
keine Anzeichen für die Auslösung einer Allergie.
Das vorliegende Produkt enthält keine latexhaltigen
Komponenten.
3M SPEEDGLAS FX FRESH AIR
Das Atemschutzgerät darf nicht gegenüber Schadstoffen
unbekannter Natur, unbekannter Konzentration,
oder bei der Gefahr eines Sauerstoffdefizites
(Sauerstoffgehalt < 19,5 %) eingesetzt werden (19,5
Vol.% - 3M-interne Empfehlung, bitte achten Sie auf
nationale Vorgaben). Das Atemschutzgerät darf nicht
in sauerstoffangereicherter Atmosphäre eingesetzt
werden.
Verlassen Sie den schadstoffbelasteten Bereich sofort,
wenn Teile des Atemschutzgerätes beschädigt werden,
die Luftversorgung des Kopfteils abnimmt oder ganz
unterbrochen wird, das Atmen schwierig wird, d.h.
ein erhöhter Atemwiderstand auftritt, Benommenheit,
Schwindel oder andere Beschwerden eintreten oder Sie
Gefahrstoffe schmecken oder riechen können oder eine
Reizung auftritt.
Starker Seitenwind (> 2m/s) oder hohe
Arbeitsgeschwindigkeiten können einen kurzzeitigen
Unterdruck im Kopfteil bewirken. Dieser hat zur Folge,
das schadstoffhaltige Luft ins Kopfteil gelangen kann.
Achten Sie deshalb immer auf einen korrekten Sitz
des Kopfteils und meiden Sie oben beschriebene
Situationen oder benutzen Sie in solchen Fällen ein
anderes Atemschutzgerät.
An den Stellen, an denen die Gesichtsabdichtung
abschließt sollte der Anwender glatt rasiert sein.

Davon abweichende Kennzeichnungen beziehen sich auf
andere Sicherheitsstandards.
VOR DEM EINSATZ
Das Atemschutzgerät ist komplett, unbeschädigt und
ordnungsgemäß zusammengebaut (Abb. A:1). Mögliche
Fehler am Gerät müssen behoben und defekte Teile
ausgetauscht werden, bevor das Gerät zum Einsatz kommt.
Die vorliegenden Schweißerkopfteile sind schwer
entflammbar, es besteht jedoch die Gefahr, das diese
in Kontakt mit offenen Flammen oder sehr heißen
Oberflächen Feuer fangen oder schmelzen.
EINSATZ
Das Kopfteil muss so eingestellt sein, daß es bequem aber
fest sitzt und durch das Visier eine optimale Sicht erreicht
wird.
Zur Einstellung des Kopfteils beachten Sie bitte die Abb.
B:1 – B4.

Stellen Sie sich das Gebläse- bzw. Druckluft-
Atemschutzsystem so ein, wie in den entsprechenden
Bedienungsanleitungen beschrieben. Achten Sie außerdem
auf den korrekten Verlauf der Gesichtsabdichtung Abb. H:8)
Um einen optimalen Schutz zu erreichen, ist es wichtig,
dass die Gesichtsabdichtung korrekt im Kopfteil
montiert ist und dicht unter dem Kinn anliegt. Nehmen
Sie das Kopfteil erst dann ab, bzw. unterbrechen
Sie die Luftzufuhr zum Kopfteil erst, wenn Sie den
schadstoffbelasteten Bereich sicher verlassen haben.
REINIGUNG
Reinigen Sie das Schweißerkopfteil mit einer milden
Seifenlauge und einem fusselfreien Tuch.
Um eine Beschädigung des Schweißerkopfteils
auszuschließen, benutzen Sie zur Reinigung niemals
Lösemittel. Waschen Sie die textilen Teile (z.B.
Kopfschutz) gemäß den Informationen auf dem
Produktlable.

LAGERUNG UND TRANSPORT
Bitte lagern Sie das Produkt in sauberer und trockener
Umgebung in einem Temperaturbereich von -30°C bis
+70°C und einer relativen Luftfeuchtigkeit kleiner 90%. Die
Verpackung ist als Transportverpackung geeignet.

NOTICE D’INSTRUCTIONS
Nous vous recommandons de lire attentivement, en
complément de ce document, la notice d’utilisation du
masque de soudage 3M™ Speedglas™ et le feuillet de
références où vous trouverez les combinaisons de produits,
les pièces détachées et les accessoires approuvés.
DESCRIPTION DU SYSTEME
Le filtre de soudage Speedglas 9100 aide à protéger les
yeux du porteur et apporte une protection permanente
(équivalent à une teinte 13, que le filtre soit à l’état le plus
clair ou le plus foncé, ou qu’il soit éteint), contre les dangers
liés aux rayonnements ultra-violets (UV) et infrarouges (IR)
émanant de certains procédés de soudage à l’arc ou au gaz.
Le filtre de soudage Speedglas 9100 est conçu pour
être utilisé seulement avec les coiffes de soudage et les
protections de la série 3M Speedglas 9100.
La coiffe 3M Speedglas 9100FX air protégé également
contre les contaminants respiratoires présents dans
l’environnement de travail lorsqu’ils sont associés à une
unité de ventilation assistée approuvée.
ATTENTION
Un choix correct, une formation, une utilisation et une
maintenance appropriées sont essentiels pour que le
produit puisse protéger l’utilisateur.
Le non-respect de toutes les instructions relatives à
l’utilisation de ces produits et / ou le non-respect et du port
correct de cet appareil pendant toute la durée d’exposition
peut nuire à la santé de l’utilisateur et provoquer une
maladie grave ou une invalidité permanente.
Pour une adéquation du produit à votre activité et une
utilisation correcte, suivre la réglementation locale en
vigueur ou se référer à l’ensemble des informations fournies.
Une attention particulière doit être portée aux énoncés
d’avertissements lorsqu’ils sont indiqués.
HOMOLOGATIONS
Ces produits répondent aux exigences de la Directive
Européenne 89/686/EEC (Equipement de Protection
Individuelle) et sont donc marqués CE.
Ces produits répondent aux exigences des normes
européennes EN 175 et EN 166. La certification selon
l’article 10, certificat d’examen CE de type, a été délivré
par DIN Certco Prüf- und Zertifierungszentrum (Organisme
Notifié 0196). Le système à ventilation assistée Speedglas
9100 FX répond aux exigences des normes européennes
harmonisées EN 12941 resp EN 14594. La certification selon
l’article 11, certificat d’examen CE de type, a été délivré par
INSPEC International Ltd (Organisme Notifié 0194).
LIMITES D’UTILISATION
N’utiliser qu’avec des pièces détachées et accessoires
de la marque d’origine 3M™ Speedglas™ listés dans
le feuillet de références et selon les recommandations
d’usage données dans la Fiche Technique.
L’utilisation de composés de substitution ou des
modifications non mentionnées dans cette notice
d’utilisation peut compromettre sérieusement le niveau
de protection apporté par l’équipement et invalider de
ce fait la garantie ou rendre le produit non conforme aux
classes de protection et aux homologations. A n’utiliser
qu’avec des coiffes de soudage listées dans le feuillet
de références.
Les protections oculaires portées sur des lunettes
correctrices classiques peuvent transmettre les impacts
s’ils se produisent, et de ce fait représenter un danger
pour les porteurs.
La coiffe de soudage Speedglas n’est pas conçue pour
des opérations lourdes de soudage/coupage de hauteur
à cause du risque de brûlure liée à la chute de metal
en fusion.
Les fenêtres latérales doivent être couvertes avec les
caches dans les cas où d’autres soudeurs travaillent à
côté de vous et que le réfléchissement de la lumière
qu’ils émettent passent au travers des fenêtres latérales.

Les matériaux qui peuvent éventuellement entrer en
contact avec la peau du porteur ne sont pas connus
comme causant des réactions allergiques chez la
majorités des personnes. Ce produit ne contient pas de
composant à base de latex naturel.
3M™SPEEDGLAS™FX AIR
Ne pas utiliser ce système comme protection respiratoire
contre des contaminants atmosphériques inconnus,
ou lorsque les concentrations en contaminants sont
inconnues ou directement dangereuses pour la vie ou
la santé.
Ne pas utiliser dans les atmosphères contenant moins
de 19,5 % d’oxygène (définition 3M : chaque pays peut
appliquer ses propres limites en matière d’insuffisance
en oxygène; en cas de doute, demandez conseil). Ne
pas utiliser ces produits dans des atmosphères faîtes de
ou enrichies en oxygène.
Quittez immédiatement la zone contaminée si: une partie
du système est endommagée, le débit d’air dans la coiffe
diminue ou s’arrête, la respiration devient difficile ou si
une insuffisance respiratoire se fait sentir, des vertiges
ou d’autres troubles apparaissent, vous sentez par voie
buccale ou nasale la présence de contaminants, ou en
cas d’irritation.
Si de forts courants d’air supérieurs à 2m/sec sont
présents, où lors d’un travail physique très intense
(débit respiratoire très élevé), la pression à l’intérieur du
masque peut devenir négative (débit d’air inspiré très
élevé). Assurez-vous que l’équipement est bien adapté.
Dans le cas contraire utilisez un appareil d’un modèle
différent.
Les utilisateurs doivent être rasés de près lorsque le joint
d’étanchéité est au contact de la face.

INSTRUCTIONS AVANT UTILISATION
Vérifiez que l’appareil est complet (voir fig A:1), en bon
état et que l’ensemble est bien assemblé. Toute pièce
endommagée ou défectueuse doit être remplacée avant
utilisation.
La coiffe de soudage est résistance à la chaleur mais
peut prendre feu ou fonder au contact d’une flamme ou
d’une surface très chaude. Nettoyer régulièrement la
coiffe pour minimiser ce risqué.
INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION
Ajuster la coiffe de soudage selon vos préférences
personnelles pour obtenir un maximum de confort et de
protection.(voir fig B:1 - B:4).
3M™Speedglas™FX air
Ajuster et vérifier l’étanchéité du système à ventilation
assistée comme expliqué dans la notice appropriée. Ajuster
la bavette d’étanchéité selon la forme de votre visage. (voir
fig H:8)
Il est important que la bavette d’étanchéité soit bien
montée et ajustée pour apporter un facteur de protection
approprié. Ne pas retirer la coiffe de soudage et ne pas
éteindre la ventilation assistée tant que vous êtes dans
la zone contaminée.
INSTRUCTIONS DE NETTOYAGE
Nettoyer la coiffe de soudage avec un détergent doux et
de l’eau.
Afin d’éviter tout dommage à la coiffe, ne pas utiliser de
solvant pour la nettoyer. Nettoyer les protections de la
tête selon les instructions de nettoyage indiquées sur les
étiquettes.

STOCKAGE ET TRANSPORT
Ne pas stocker ce produit en dehors de l’écart de
températures comprises entre - 30°C et +70°C ou avec une
humidité dépassant 90%. L’emballage d’origine convient au
transport du produit.

USER INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these instructions in conjunction with other
relevant 3M User instructions for 3M Speedglas welding
filters, 3M air delivery units and Reference leaflets where
you will find information on approved combinations of Air
Delivery Units, spare parts and accessories.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The 3M Speedglas 9100FX help protect the wearer‘s eyes
and face from sparks/spatter, harmful ultra-violet radiation
(UV) and infra-red radiation (IR) resulting from certain arc/
gas welding processes. The product is designed to be used
only with 3M Speedglas 9100 welding filters and protection
plates. The 3M Speedglas 9100FX air also protects against
certain airborne contaminants when used with an approved
Air Delivery Unit.
WARNING
Proper selection, training, use and maintenance are
essential in order for the product to help protect the
wearer. Failure to follow all instructions on the use of
these protection products and/or failure to properly wear
the complete product during all periods of exposure may
adversely affect the wearer’s health, lead to severe or life
threatening illness, injury or permanent disability.
For suitability and proper use follow local regulations, refer
to all information supplied.
Particular attention should be given to warning
statements where indicated.
APPROVALS
These products meet the requirements of the European
Community Directive 89/686/EEC (Personal Protective
Equipment Directive) and are thus CE marked. The
products comply with the harmonized European Standards
EN 175 and EN 166. Certification under Article 10, EC
Type-Examination has been issued by DIN Certco Prüf-
und Zertifierungszentrum (Notified body number 0196).
Speedglas 9100 FX air respiratory systems complies with
the harmonized standards EN 12941 resp EN 14594.
Certification under article 11, EC type examination has been
issued by INSPEC International Ltd (Notified body number
0194).
LIMITATIONS OF USE
Only use with original 3M Speedglas brand spare
parts and accessories listed in the reference leaflet
and within the usage conditions given in the Technical
Specifications.
The use of substitute components or modifications
not specified in these user instructions might seriously
impair protection and may invalidate claims under the
warranty or cause the product to be noncompliant with
protection classifications and approvals.
Eye protectors worn over standard ophthalmic
spectacles may transmit impacts thus creating a hazard
to the wearer.
The Speedglas welding shield is not designed for heavy
duty overhead welding/cutting operations due to the risk
of burns from falling molten metal.
The SideWindows should be covered with the cover
plates in situations when other welders are working
beside you and in situations where reflected light can
pass through the SideWindows (see fig I:1)
Materials which may come into contact with the wearer’s
skin are not known to cause allergic reactions to the
majority of individuals. These products do not contain
components made from natural rubber latex.
3M™SPEEDGLAS™FX AIR
Do not use for respiratory protection against unknown
atmospheric contaminants or when concentrations of
contaminants are unknown or immediately dangerous to
life or health (IDLH).
Do not use in atmospheres containing less than 19.5%
oxygen (3M definition. Individual countries may apply
their own limits on oxygen deficiency. Seek advice if in
doubt). Do not use these products in oxygen or oxygen-
enriched atmospheres.
Leave the contaminated area immediately if: Any part
of the system becomes damaged, airflow into the
headtop decreases or stops, breathing becomes difficult,
dizziness or other distress occurs, you smell or taste
contaminants or irritation occurs.
High winds above 2m/s, or very high work rates (where
the pressure within the headtop can become negative)
can reduce protection. Adjust equipment as appropriate
or consider an alternative form of respiratory protective
device.
Users should be clean-shaven where the respirator’s
face seal comes into contact with the face.

PREPARATION FOR USE
Carefully check that the product is complete (see fig A:1),
undamaged and correctly assembled, any damaged or
defective parts must be replaced before each use.
The welding shield is heat resistant but can catch fire or
melt in contact with open flames or very hot surfaces.
Keep the shield clean to minimize this risk.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Adjust the welding shield according to your individual
requirements to reach the highest comfort and protection.
(see fig B:1 - B:4).
3M™Speedglas™FX air
Adjust and fit the Air Delivery Unit as outlined in the
appropriate User Instruction. Adjust the face seal to suit the
shape of the face. (see fig H:8)
It is important that the face seal is correctly mounted
and fitted to provide the correct protection factor. Do not
remove the welding shield or turn off the air supply until
you have vacated the contaminated area.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Clean the welding shield with a mild detergent and water.
To avoid damage to the shield do not use solvents for
cleaning. Clean the head cover according to the washing
instruction on the product label.

Використовуйте тільки оригінальні 3M ™ Speedglas
™ запчастини та аксесуари, перераховані влистівці і
залежно від умов експлуатації наведених вТехнічних
специфікаціях.
Використання альтернативних компонентів або
внесення змін, не зазначених вціх інструкціях
для користувача може серйозно порушити захист,
привести до невідповідності рівня захисту продукту
атакож може призвести до втрати будь якої претензії
по гарантії. Або такий продукт може не відповідати
нормам за рівнем захисту та сертифікатами.
Особи, які використовують окуляри для корекції зору,
повинні розуміти, що уразі сильного удару щиток
може деформуватись, контактувати зокулярами та
наражати користувача на небезпеку.
Speedglas захисні щитки не призначені для виконання
високотемпературного зварювання/розрізання та
можуть бути пошкоджені частинами розплавленого
металу.
Бокові віконця SideWindows повинні мати
захисні щитки якщо поруч звами працюють інщі
зварювальники, атакож вситуаціях коли єризик
проникнення через бокові віконця Side Windows
віддзеркаленого світла. (див. мал. I:1)
Матеріали, які можуть контактувати зі шкірою
користувача не викликають алергічних реакцій у
більшості людей. Ці продукти не містять компонентів,
виготовлених знатуральної гуми-латексу.
3M™SPEEDGLAS™FX ЗБЛОКОМ ПОДАЧІ
ПОВІТРЯ
Не використовувати для респіраторного захисту
проти невідомих атмосферних забруднень, або коли
концентрації забруднень невідомі чи становлять
безпосередню небезпеку для життя та здоров’я
(IDLH).
Не використовувати при вмісті кисню ватмосфері
нижче за 19.5% (За методикою визначення 3M. Кожна
країна може мати свої норми щодо низького вмісту
кисню ватмосфері, перевіряйте їх уразі виникнення
сумнівів). Не використовувати ці продукти в
атмосфері кисню, або ватмосфері збагаченій киснем.
Залиште забруднену зону негайно якщо: Будь-яка
частина системи зазнала пошкодження, подача
повітря вшолом знизилась або зупинилась, диханню
щось перешкоджає, почалось головокружіння
або слабкість, ви відчуваєте запах або смак
забруднюючих, або подразнюючих речовин.
Висока швидкість вітру (вища за 2 м/с), або роботи
на великих висотах (коли тиск вшоломі може
стати негативним) можуть призвести до втрати
захисних функцій. Змініть відповідні налаштування
уобладнанні, або оберіть альтернативну форму
респіраторного захисного пристрою.
Користувачі мають ретельно поголити обличчя втих
зонах, які будуть контактувати зущільнювальним
кільцем респіратора.

ПІДГОТОВКА ДО ВИКОРИСТАННЯ
Обережно перевірте комплектність продукту (див. мал.
A:1), атакож його цілісність та правильність збору, будь-
які пошкоджені або браковані частини повинні бути
замінені перед кожним використанням продукту.
Зварювальний щиток єтермозахищеним але при
контакті звідкритим полум’ям або дуже гарячими
поверхнями може спалахнути. Треба тримати щиток
вчистоті для мінімізації ризиків.

Пристосуйте форму лицевого ущільнення до контурів
вашого обличчя. (див. мал. H:8)
Для належного ступеню захисту важливо щоб лицеве
ущільнення було правильно зібране та налаштоване.
Не знімайте захисний щиток для того щоб припинити
подачу повітря поки ви знаходитесь узабрудненій
зоні.
ІНСТРУКЦІЇ ЩОДО МИТТЯ
Промивати захисний щиток можна розчином миючого
засобу середньої сили або водою.
Щоб запобігти пошкодженню щитка не
використовувати для миття розчинники Шолом
для захисту голови можна мити увідповідності до
інструкцій на його етикетці.

ISTRUZIONI D’USO
Vi invitiamo a leggere attentamente queste istruzioni
assieme a quelle degli Schermi per Saldatura 3M™
Speedglas™, sistema 3M di adduzione d’aria ed al libretto
di Riferimento dove potete trovare le informazioni sulle
combinazioni approvate, le parti di ricambio e gli accessori.
DESCRIZIONE DEL SISTEMA
Lo schermo per saldatura Speedglas 9100FX protegge gli
occhi dell’utilizzatore da scintille/schegge, dalle dannose
radiazioni ultraviolette (UV) e infrarosse (IR), generate in
certe operazioni di saldatura. Il prodotto è progettato per
essere usato solo con con gli schermi per saldatura serie
Speedglas 9100 e relative lamine di protezione. Il flusso
d’aria del 3M Speedglas 9100FX protegge anche da alcuni
contaminanti dispersi nell’aria quando usato con un sistema
di filtrazione aria approvato.
ATTENZIONE
Una appropriate selezione, formazione, uso e manutenzione
sono essenziali per garantire la corretta protezione
dell’utilizzatore. Non seguire le seguenti istruzioni d’uso per
questi prodotti di protezione od utilizzarlo scorrettamente
e non per tutto il periodo di esposizione, può avere effetti
sulla salute dell’utilizzatore, portando a gravi malattie,
infortunio od inabilità permanente. Per l’adeguatezza e l’uso
corretto seguire le regolamentazioni locali, riferirsi a tutte le
informazioni fornite.
Particolare attenzione deve essere posta quando
trovate frasi dove è indicato il simbolo .

e per questo riporta la marcatura CE. Il prodotto soddisfa gli

(Organismo notificato numero 0196). Speedglas 9100 FX
sistema di protezione delle vie respiratory è conforme agli

rilasciata da INSPEC International Ltd (Organismo
notificato numero 0194).
LIMITAZIONI D’USO
Utilizzare soltanto ricambi ed accessori originali
Speedglas secondo il codice riportato in queste
istruzioni e nel libretto di riferimento e nelle condizioni
indicate nelle specifiche d’uso.
L’utilizzo di componenti non idonei possono
compromettere la protezione ed invalidare la garanzia
e le stesse approvazioni. Utilizzare solo con schermi di
saldatura indicati nel libretto di riferimento.
Occhiali da vista possono essere indossati sotto lo
schermo ma in caso di un forte impatto dello schermo
ed una sua deformazione interna può creare problemi
per l’utilizzatore.
Il sistema Speedglas schermo per saldatura non è
progettato per operazioni esteremamente pesanti di
saldatura/taglio divuto al rischio di bruciature dovute alla
penetrazione di schizzi di metallo fuso.
Le Finestre Laterali devono essere coperte con le
coperture nelle situazioniin cui altri saldatori lavorano
accanto a Voi e in situazioni in cui la luce riflessa può
attraversare le Finestrelaterali (vedere fig I:1)
I materiali che vengono a contatto con la pelle possono
causare reazioni allergiche in persone molto sensibili..
Questi prodotti non contengono componenti fabbricati
da gomma di lattice naturale.
3M™SPEEDGLAS™FX AIR (VENTILATO)
Non utilizzare per la protezione delle vie respiratorie
contro contaminanti dispersi nell’aria sconosciuti
o quando le concentrazioni dei contaminanti sono
sconosciute o immediatamente pericolose per la vita o
la salute (IDLH).
Non usare in atmosphere che contengono meno del
19.5% di ossigeno (definizione 3M. Ogni nazione può
avere il suo limite minimo per la deficienza di ossigeno.
Informatevi in caso di dubbio) Non utilizzare questo
prodotto in presenza di atmosphere di ossigeno puro od
arricchite di ossigeno.
Lasciate l’area contaminate immediatamente se: una
qualsiasi parte del sistema risulta danneggiata, l’aria
all’interno del cappuccino diminuisce o si ferma, la
respirazione diventa difficoltosa, vertigini od altro
malessere sopraggiunge, avvertite l’odore od il sapore
dei contaminanti o avvertite irritazione.
Un vento superiore ai 2m/s, o lavori particolarmente
pesanti (dove la pressione all’interno può diventare
negativa) può ridurre la protezione. Regolare il
sistema nel modo appropriato o considerare una forma
alternativa per la protezione delle vie respiratorie.
Gli utilizzatori non devono essere rasati dove il bordo di
tenuta del respiratore si appoggia al volto.

PREPARAZIONE PER L’USO
Ispezionare accuratamente sia completo (vedere fig
A:1) prima di ogni uso, non danneggiato e correttamente
assemblato, ogni parte danneggiata o difettosa deve essere
rimpiazzata prima dell’uso.
Lo schermo per saldatura è resistente al calore, ma può
prendere fuoco o liquefarsi a contatto con fiamme libere
o con superfici molto calde.Tenere lo schermo pulito in
modo da minimizzare il rischio.
ISTRUZIONI OPERATIVE
Regolare lo schermo di saldatura in conformità con i vostri
requisiti individuali per raggiungere il comfort e la protezione
più alti (vedere fig B:1 - B:4).
3M™Speedglas™FX air (ventilato)
Regolare ed indossare il Sistema di Filtrazione Aria come
indicato nelle relative istruzioni d’uso. Regolare il bordo di
tenuta in modo che segua il bordo del viso. (vedere fig H:8)

E’ importante che il bordo di tenuta sia correttamente
montato ed indossato per garantire l’idoneo fattore di
protezione. Non rimuovere lo schermo per saldatura o
spegnere il flusso d’aria fino a quando non avete lasciato
l’area contaminata.
ISTRUZIONI DI PULIZIA
Pulire lo schermo per saldatura con un detergente neutro
e acqua.
Per evitare Danni al prodotto non usare solventi per la
pulizia. Pulire il corpicapo secondo leistruzioni riportate
sull’etichetta dul prodotto.

reserveonderdelen en accessoires.
SYSTEEM OMSCHRIJVING
De Speedglas 9100FX draagt bij aan de bescherming van
de ogen en het gelaat van de dragen tegen vonken/spatten,
schadelijk ultraviolet (UV) en infraroodstraling (IR) straling
van bepaalde lasprocessen. Het product is exclusief
ontworpen voor gebruik in combinatie met een Speedglas
9100 lasfilter en beschermruiten. De Speedglas 9100FX Air
laskap beschermt eveneens tegen bepaalde verontreinigen

WAARSCHUWING
Proper selection, training, use and maintenance are
Een juiste keuze, training, gebruik en onderhoud van
het product zijn essentieel voor de bescherming van de
drager. Het niet opvolgen van de gebruiksaanwijzing en/
of het onjuist dragen van het complete product tijdens de
gehele blootstellingperiode kan een nadelig effect hebben
op de gezondheid van de drager en kan leiden tot ernstige
of levensbedreigende ziekten, verwondingen of blijvende
invaliditeit. Volg de lokale wetgeving die betrekking heeftop
de gegeven informatie voor doelmatig en juist gebruik.
Bijzondere aandacht moet besteed worden aan de
waarschuwingstekens.
GOEDKEURINGEN
De producten voldoen aan de basis veiligheidsvereisten
van de Europese Richtlijn 89/686/EEC (Persoonlijke
beschermingsmiddelen) en zijn als zodanig voorzien van
het CE merkteken. De producten zijn in overeenstemming
met de geharmoniseerde Europese Normen EN 175 en EN
166. Certificatie onder artikel 10, EC Type-Examination is
uitgegeven door DIN Certo Prüf- und Zertifierungszentrum
(aangewezen instantie nummer 0196). Speedglas
9100 FX Air ademhalingsbeschermingsysteem is in
overeenstemming met de geharmoniseerde standaarden
EN 12941 resp EN 14594. Certificatie onder artikel 11,
EC Type-Eexamination is uitgegeven door INSPEC
International Ltd (aangewezen instantie nummer 0194)
GEBRUIKSBEPERKINGEN
Enkel gebruiken met originele 3M Speedglas onderdelen
en accessoires genoemd in het referentieblad, en
binnen de gebruiksomstandigheden zoals gegeven in de
Technische Specificaties.
Het gebruik van vervangende producten of aanpassingen
die niet in deze gebruiksaanwijzing genoemd zijn kunnen
serieuze schade aanbrengen aan de bescherming en
hiermee kan aanspraak of garantie vervallen, of ervoor
zorgen dat het product niet meer in overeenstemming
is met de beschermingsclassificaties en goedkeuringen.
Oogbescherming die over standaard correctiebrillen
gedragen wordt kan inslagrisico’s veroorzaken en
daarmee een gevaar voor de drager.
De Speedglas laskap is niet ontwikkeld voor zeer
zware bovengrondse las- of snijwerkzaamheden door
het risico van brandwonden door vallende gesmolten
metaaldeeltjes.
De zijruiten (SideWindows) moeten altijd bedekt zijn
met afdekplaten indien er vlak naast u gelast wordt, of
in situaties waar reflecterend licht door de SideWindows
kan komen (zie fig I:1)
Van de materialen die in contact kunnen komen met
de huid van de drager, is niet bekend dat ze een
allergische reactie geven. Deze producten bevatten
geen componenten die gemaakt zijn van natuurlijk
rubber/latex.
3M™SPEEDGLAS™FX AIR
Gebruik niet voor ademhalingsbescherming als de
verontreinigingen in de lucht of indien de concentratie van
de verontreiniging onbekend is, of onmiddellijk gevaar voor
de gezondheid (IDHL).
Niet gebruiken in omgevingen waar minder dan
19.5% zuurstof in de lucht aanwezig is. (Richtlijn van
3M. Individuele landen kunnen eigen grenzen voor
zuurstoftekort hebben bepaald. Bij twijfel advies inwinnen).
Gebruik deze producten niet in zuurstof of zuurstofverrijkte
omgevingen.
Verlaat de verontreinigde omgeving onmiddellijk indien
ongeacht welke deel van het systeem beschadigd is, de
luchtstroom in de kap afneemt of stopt, ademhalen moeilijk
wordt, er duizeligheid of een noodsitutatie ontstaat, u
vervuiling ruikt of proeft, of indien irritatie ontstaat.
Sterke wind boven 2m/s, of een zeer hoog werktempo
(indien de druk in de kap negatief kan worden) kan de
bescherming reduceren. Stel het systeem zo optimaal
mogelijk in, of overweeg een alternatief systeem voor
ademhalingsbescherming.
Gebruikers moeten gladgeschoren zijn waar de
gelaatsafdichting in contact met het gelaat.

VOORBEREIDINGEN VOOR GEBRUIK
Inspecteer zorgvuldig of het product compleet (zie fig A:1),
onbeschadigd en correct gemonteerd is. Ieder beschadigd
of defect onderdeel moet worden vervangen voor gebruik.
De laskap is hittebestendig maar kan vlam vatten of
smelten als het in contact komt met open vuur of zeer
warme oppervlakken. Houdt de kap schoon om dit risico
te minimaliseren.
BEDIENINGSINSTRUCTIES
Stel de laskap in aan uw individuele eisen om het hoogste
comfort en bescherming te verkrijgen. (zie fig B:1 - B:4).
3M™Speedglas™FX air
Sluit de motorunit aan en stel hem in volgens de
gebruiksaanwijzing. Breng de gelaatsafdichting zodanig
aan dat hij aansluit op het gezicht (zie fig H:8).
