Using the scale
Carefully unpack he scale and remove all packaging ma erials. Place he scale on a level,
s able surface.
Levelling the scale
Align he scales using he levelling fee (1). Make sure ha he
air bubble of he spiri level (2) is cen red in he black frame.
Releasing the dial mechanism lock
Firs loosen he locking screw (3) and hen urn he black
locking handle (4) on he scales dial s and by 180° coun er-
clockwise o unlock.
Zero ad ustment
When he scale is aligned precisely as described
above, he poin er (5) should be a zero. O herwise,
use he adjus ing screw (6) o adjus he scale.
Ad usting the damper
To adjus he damper, firs loosen he screw plug
(7) and hen remove he service lid (8).
The damper should be adjus ed while i is on he
grooved wheel on op of he pis on rod. If you
no ice ha he poin er moves fas er, urn he
wheel clockwise. If you no ice ha he poin er
moves slower, urn he wheel coun er-clockwise.

Checking damping oil
Damping oil can leak ou during ranspor due, for example, o he scales being oo s eeply
il ed. In his case, make sure you add mineral vaseline oil o he damping sys em.
Locking up
The dial mechanism mus always be locked in place whenever he scales are
being ranspor ed. To lock up he scales dial, urn he black locking handle (2)
clockwise by 180° un il i locks in o place. Also make sure o igh en he ranspor
locking screw (1).
Care and maintenance
Cleaning
The scales should be cleaned when unloaded. Do no use any aggressive cleaning agen s
while cleaning, bu only a damp clo h or conven ional disinfec an s.
Make sure that no liquid enters the device!
Storage and Transport Conditions
Keep all par s of he packaging in case you need o re urn he shipmen o avoid possible
damage during ranspor a ion.
Warranty
ADE will repair or replace his produc if i is proven ha i failed wi hin 1 year from he da e of
sale (proof of purchase is required) due o faul y workmanship or defec ive ma erials. The
above does no apply o all moving par s such as ba eries, cables, power adap ers,
rechargeable ba eries, e c. This warran y does no cover ex ernal normal wear and ear or
damage caused by acciden or misuse. The warran y will no apply for devices ha have
been opened by unau horised persons. The s a u ory righ s of he cus omer are no affec ed
by his agreemen in any way.
The dealers where he scale was purchased is responsible for complain s, af er-sales service
and spare par s.
