Initial
Setup and
Battery
Replacement
•This scale operates on one
CR2032
battery (included).
•To activate the batteries
for
initial use: open the batterycover on the
bottom
of
the scale and remove the safety strip. Ensure
the
correct
polarity
of
the batteries (+/-).
•To replace the batteries: open the batterycover and slide
the
batteries
down
until they can be easily removed.
Be
careful not
to
bend
the
contact. Insert the new battery (1 x
CR2032)
and close the battery cover.
Powering
On/Off
•Place
the
scale on aflat surface.
•Turn on the scale by lightly touching the sensor-touch ON/OFF button.
•Scale will
be
ready
for
use
when
Og
or
O.Olb/ol
is
displayed on the screen.
•This scale
is
equipped
with
an
auto-off
feature
to
conserve battery power. The unit
will
turn
off
automatically after being idle
for
2minutes.
•Turn
the
scale
off
manually bylightly touching and holding the ON/OFF button.
Weight
and Volume Measurement
•
Press
the kg/lb
button
to
change the desired unit
of
measure
(kg/g= kilogram/gram
to
Ib/oz= pound/ounce)
Tare Function
•Place abowl on
the
scale and press the
TARE
button
to
set the
scale
to
0
•Weigh
your
first ingredient
•
Press
TARE
button
again
to
reset
to
0,
then
add and weigh your next ingredient
•Repeat
for
additional ingredients
•This process
can
be repeated until the max. capacity
of
the
scale
has
been reached
•The display will show anegative
number
afterthe bowl
is
removed
from
the scale
Care Instructions
•Clean the outside
of
the scale
with
aslightly damp cloth, do
not
immerse.
•Avoid contact
with
citric acid, solvents and abrasive cleaning agents.
