General Safety Considerations

The opening of cov
ers or remov
al of parts is lik
ely to expose
dangerous v
oltages. Disconnect the instrument from all
v
oltage sources while it is being opened.
The detachable po
w
er cord is the instrument disconnecting
device. It disconnects the mains circuits from the mains
supply before other parts of the instrument. The front panel
switch is only astandb
yswitch and is not a LINE switch.
The po
w
er cord is connected to internal capacitors that may
remain live for seconds after disconnecting the plug from its
po
w
er supply
.

plug shall only be inserted in asock

For continued protection against fire hazard replace line fuse

fuses or material is prohibited.
