Before use
Thank you for purchasing AGPTEK MP3 Player. Please read
the manual carefully before using the product. Specifications
are subject to change without prior notice.
Buttons and Controls
Quick Guide
Charge the Player
1. Charge by computer USB port.
2. Use 5V/500mA charger (Charger not included).
Basic Operation
1. Power On/Off. Hold the power button

to turn on/off
the player. Screen on/off: short press the button to turn
on/off the screen.
2. Screen Lock/unlock. Slide the button

on the left to lock
the screen and all the buttons will be unavailable. Repeat
to unlock.
3. Browse item. On home menu, press button / to
browse item, press button to enter. On list menu
interface, press button / to browse item, press

4. Back. Press button to go back. Hold down to back to
home menu directly.
5. Menu. When it’s on media playing interface or file list
interface, hold the button to enter its submenu.
Home Menu
The home menu is the starting point of each application,
including Music, FM radio, Folder, Bluetooth, Recordings,
Settings, Tools, EBook, Pedometer.
Music
Find “Music” on home menu with button to access to
its function. A related list will show:
All songs. All the music files in local folder or card folder.
Resume (Now playing). Take you back to the song or
audio file you are playing now or played last time.
Artists /Albums /Genres. View music files sorted by artists
/albums /genres.
Playlist. There are 3 default playlists on the player:
Playlist[1]/[2]/[3].
Update Playlists - Update music files.
Local folder / Card folder - View music file in the local
folder or card folder. Note: These functions only available
when memory card inserted.
1. Play the music
While it’s on music playing interface, hold down the
button to fast forward, press to skip to next track;
hold down the button to fast rewind, press to play
the previous track. Press button to play/pause. Press
the buttons / to adjust volume.
2. Submenu
When it is on music playing interface, hold down button
to access to the submenu, a related list will show:
1) Play mode
“Play music from...”, choose to play from all songs / this

artist / album / genre
“Repeat”, you can choose repeat 1, repeat all, or turn off
repeat mode.
“Shuffle”, choose to turn on/off shuffle mode.
“A-B Repeat”
─Repeat Period
a. Enter. Press the button to enter.
b. Set. Press button to confirm the starting time A
when A is flashing. Then you can press the button to
re-set starting time A or press button to set the
ending time B when B is flashing, after which the passage
from time A to B will be repeated automatically. And the
icon for A-B indication will appear on the screen.
c. Re-set. Press the button to re-set A-B repeat period
for the rest of the track.
d. Exit. Press button to exit A-B repeat mode and
continue to play the track or press the button to
pause and exit A-B repeat mode.
─Repeat Times. Set the replay times from 1 to 10.
─Repeat Interval. Set the replay gap from 1 to 10 seconds.
2) Sound settings, choose to set Equalizer, Variable speed
playback and Volume limit.
3) Add to playlist/ Remove from playlist, choose to add to or
remove from the 3 existing playlists.
4) Delete, choose to delete the song that is playing now.
5) Bookmarks, choose to add bookmark for the song that is
playing now, or go to /delete the bookmark you added.
FM Radio
Find “FM radio” on home menu with button to access
to its function. A related list will show:
Presets. All the saved stations will be listed here.
Manual tune /Auto tune. When choose “Auto tune”, the
searched stations will be saved in “Presets” automatically.
FM Recordings. View the radio recording files. You will

need to choose from local folder or card folder if the
memory card is inserted. The radio recordings will also be
saved in Recordings > Recordings library.
Submenu.
While it’s on radio playing interface, press the button
to switch among preset stations; press the button /
to fine tune stations; long press the button / to
switch to previous/next station with strong signal; hold
down the button to access to its submenu which
includes:
Start FM radio recording
Press button to pause/continue, press and select
“Yes” to save the recording file.
Auto tune / Save to / Clear preset
─“Auto tune”, search stations automatically. You can see
the searched stations in “Presets”.
─“Save to preset”, save the station you are listening to
“Preset”. Press the button / to choose the preset
station and confirm with the button .
─“Clear preset”, clear the station you are listening from
“Preset”. Press the button / to choose the station
you want to clear, then press and choose “yes” to
clear the station
Tuner Region, choose from Common / European / Japan
Band as needed.
FM Recordings
Folder
Find “Folder” on Home menu with the button to access
to its function. All of the files in the player will be listed. If the
Micro SD card is inserted, you can choose to go to Local
folder or Card folder.
Bluetooth
Find “Bluetooth” on Home menu with the button to

enter, and it will automatically search and display the
Bluetooth-enabled devices(Bluetooth headphones/ speakers).
You can choose and press button to connect/unpair, or
press the button to go to the menu list, including:
Bluetooth On/Off. Choose to enable or disable Bluetooth.
Search Device. When the Bluetooth is enabled,
choose ”Search Device” to search the nearby Bluetooth
devices manually, then all of the devices which has
opened its Bluetooth will be listed.
Device List. Select the device you want to
connect/disconnect, and then press button to
confirm. After successfully connected, this player is ready
to play music or FM radio by Bluetooth headphones,
Bluetooth speaker, etc.
Note: 1. When listen to radio by Bluetooth, wired
headphones are needed as radio antenna. 2. Those
functions are not available when Bluetooth opened:
Recording, Video, Picture, Pedometer, Equalizer, Variable
Speed Playback.
Recordings
You can enable voice recording by the following two ways:
1. Press the button

on the right side of the player to start
recording;
2. Find “Recordings” on Home menu with the button
to access to its function. Then choose "Start voice
recording" to start.
Start voice recording. Press button to start voice
recording, press again to pause. Press the button
and choose “Yes” to save the recording file.
Recordings library. Check the saved recordings. You will
need to choose from local folder or card folder if the
memory card is inserted. While it’s on recording playing
interface, hold down the button and choose “Delete”
to delete.

Storage. Choose to store your recordings in internal or
external memory. Confirm your selection with button
.(Only available when TF card inserted)
Record Format. Choose the record format between MP3
(32 / 64 / 128 kbps) / WAV (512 / 768 / 1024 / 1536kbps)
Settings
Find “Settings” on Home menu with the button to access
to its function. A related list will show, including:
Language: Choose display language.
Date & Time: Choose “Date settings” to set date format
and date. To set date, press the button / to switch
among year|month|date, press button / to adjust
the value of year|month|date and confirm with
button . Set time under “Set Time” and adjust the time
in the same way.
Display settings: Set Brightness, Backlight timer and
Screensaver.
Shutdown settings: Sleep timer: The device will shut
down automatically when reaches the set time; Power off:
When there is no operation on the device, the device will
shut off automatically when reaches the set time.
Sound settings. Choose to set volume limit or turn the
speaker on/off.
Radio background: Choose to turn on/off radio
background. If you choose the option “On”, the radio will
continue playing when you exit the FM radio.
Button lights. Set the button light mode to Always on/
On(when operate)/ Off.
Information: Check player information and disk space
about your player.
Format device / Factory settings: Format the device/SD
card or restore the player to factory default settings. Note:
Before formatting the device, please backup the file so as
not to lose any files.

Tools
Find “Tools” on Home menu with the button to access to
its function. A related list will show:
1. Videos
Press button to access to its function. You will need to
choose from local folder or card folder if the memory card
is inserted.
Press button to watch videos, Press the button /
to go to previous/next video or hold to fast
backward/forward.
When it’s on video playing interface, hold down the
button to access to its submenu, including: Brightness,
Repeat, Delete Video, Update Playlist. Set according to
your preference.
2. Pictures
Press the button to view pictures, press the button
/ to go to previous/next picture
When it’s on picture viewing interface, hold down button
to access to its submenu, including: Brightness,
Backlight timer, Slideshow settings, Delete picture. Set
according to your preference.
3. Calendar
Press the button / to switch among year|month|day,
press the button / to choose specific
year|month|day.
4. Stopwatch
Press the button to enter, press again to start the timer,
and then press again to stop or hold down button to
resume. Press to start a new one. The maximum
Stopwatch list is 5.
EBook
Find “Tools” on Home menu with the button to access to
its function.

While it’s on text playing interface, press button / to
turn the pages. Press the button to play automatically,
press again to stop.
Submenu. While it’s on text playing interface, hold down
button to enter its submenu and set your preference,
including Auto Playback Interval (2s-30s), Ebook
background, Delete EBook, Select Bookmark, Delete
Bookmark, Add Bookmark, Select Page, Local folder and
Card folder (Only available when TF card inserted).
Pedometer
Find “Pedometer” on Home menu with the button to
access to its function, a related list will show:
Start.
─Choose to start the pedometer, it will display your realtime
workout information as below:
S: Step counts D: Distance traveled C: Calories burned;
S: Walking speed T: Elapsed time
─Press the button and it will save the record in
“History” automatically. If the history record is full, it will
cover the previous one.
Personal info. Set your step length between 20~200cm
with button to confirm.
History. All your saved step record will be listed here, you
can save up to 3 records.
Clear history. You can choose to clear the history record
you want or clear all the history records.
Trouble Shooting
1. How to re-choose the language?
Find this icon in the main interface, enter and scroll
down to the last menu. Press button to enter and
choose the first (upper) option which means "Yes" with
button to confirm and restore to factory settings, the
player will power on automatically and then you can
