Sicherheits- und Schutzeinrichtungen
Motorschutzschalter
Bei Uberla tung de Vertikutierer /Lufter chaltet der
Motor chutz chalter den Motor au . Die Funktion de
Motor chutz chalter darf nicht auBer Kraft ge etzt
werden.
Hat der Motor chutz chalter da Gerat au ge chaltet,
wie folgt handeln:
1. Gerat vom Stromnetz trennen.
2. Ur ache fur Uberla tung be eitigen.
3. Nach einer Abkuhlzeit von 2 bi 3 Minuten
Stroman chlu wiederher tellen und da Gerat in
Betrieb nehmen.

Sicherheits-Schaltbugel
Da Gerat i t mit einem Sicherheit -Schaltbugel au -
ge tattet, der beim Lo la en da Gerat toppt.
A Gefahr!
Die Funktion de Sicherheit chaltbugel nicht auBer
Kraft etzen.
Heckklappe
Da Gerat i t mit einer Heckklappe au ge tattet.
Optische Sicherheitsanzeige (Bild C), (Bild H)
Die opti che Sicherheit anzeige zeigt die Fixierung der
Me erwelle an.
■ Der grune Stift i t ca. 5 mm ichtbar (1):
die Me erwelle i t richtig fixiert.
■ Der grune Stift i t nicht mehr ichtbar, ein roter
Rand i t ichtbar (2):
die Fixierung der Me erwelle hat ich gelockert.
Die Fixierung der Me erwelle mu kontrolliert
und ver chraubt werden (Bild H-1, 3)
Montage
Gerat laut Bildteil (Bilder A, B) montieren.
/ \ Achtung!
Da Gerat darf er t nach voll tandiger Montage be-
trieben werden.
Inbetriebnahme
/ \ Achtung!
Vor Inbetriebnahme immer eine Sichtkontrolle
durchfuhren. Mit lo em, be chadigten oder abge-
nutzten Schneidwerk und/oder Befe tigung teilen
darf da Gerat nicht benutzt werden.
■ Lande pezifi che Be timmungen fur die Betrieb -
zeiten beachten
Sicherheit Anschlussleitung
■ Nur Gummikabel der Qualitat H05RN-F nach DIN/
VDE 0282 mit einem Leitung quer chnitt von 3
1,5 mm2 verwenden.
■ Die Typbezeichnung mu auf der An chlu lei-
tung vermerkt ein. Stecker und Kupplung do e
mu en au Gummi oder Gummi uberzogen ein
und DIN/VDE 0620 ent prechen.
■ Nur eine An chlu leitung mit au reichender Lan
ge benutzen.
■ An chlu leitung, Stecker und Kupplung do e
mu en pritzwa erge chutzt ein.
■ Reparaturen an der An chlu leitung, am Stecker
und an der Kupplung do e durfen nur durch
autori ierte Fachbetriebe durchgefuhrt werden.
Eine defekte An chlu leitung (z. B. mit Ri en,
Schnitt-, Quet ch- oder Knick tellen in der I olati-
on) darf nicht verwendet werden.
■ Steckverbindungen vor Na e chutzen.
A Gefahr!
An chlu leitung nicht be chadigen oder durchtren-
nen.
Im Schaden fall An chlu leitung ofort vom
Stromnetz trennen.

Netzverbindung herstellen (Bild E)
1. Kupplung teil de Netzkabel auf den Stecker de
Sicherheit -Ta t chalter tecken.
2. Mit dem Netzkabel eine Schlaufe bilden und in die
Kabelzugentla tung einhangen. Die Schlaufe o
lang la en, da die Kabelzugentla tung von einer
Seite zur anderen gleiten kann.
A Gefahr!
Da Gerat nie an Netz teckdo en ohne Fehler trom-
chutz chalter betreiben.

Arbeitstiefe einstellen (Bild D)
/ \ Achtung!
Die Arbeit tiefe nur bei abge chaltenem Motor und
till tehender Me erwelle ein tellen.
Die Arbeit tiefe der Me erwelle an der Wahl cheibe
ein tellen.
1. Vertikutierer am Holm nach hinten kippen.
2. Dreh chalter nach unten drucken und auf Stufe
„2“ drehen.
Positionen auf der W ahlscheibe:
1 - 5 = Ein tellung der Arbeit tiefe (Bild D)
^ Bei neuen Me ern die Wahl cheibe max. auf
Po ition 2 tellen!
Die richtige Arbeit tiefe richtet ich nach:
■ dem Ra enzu tand
■ der Me erabnutzung
Bei fal cher Arbeit tiefe:
■ bleibt der Vertikutierer tehen
■ zieht der Motor nicht durch
In die em Fall Wahl cheibe auf geringere Arbeit tiefe
zuruckdrehen.
r ž ! Vor dem Vertikutieren den Ra en immer ma-
hen.
Motor starten (Bild F, G)
1. Ta ter de Sicherheit -Ta t chalter drucken und
gedruckt halten.
2. Sicherheit bugel gegen den Holm ziehen. Der
Motor tartet.
n Der Sicherheit bugel ra tet nicht ein. Er mu
wahrend der ganzen Zeit gehalten werden.
3. Ta ter de Sicherheit -Ta t chalter lo la en.
Motor ausschalten
1. Sicherheit bugel lo la en. Die er geht automa-
ti ch in die Null tellung. Der Motor i t au ge chal-
tet.
/ \ Gefahr durch Schnittverletzungen!
Me erwelle lauft nach! Nach Ab chalten nicht
ofort unter da Gerat fa en.
Fangbox ein-/aushangen
1. Vor dem Ein-/Au hangen der Fangbox den Motor
au chalten.
2. Still tand der Me erwelle abwarten.

Messerwelle ausbauen (Bild H)
1. Schraube (1) de Lager herau chrauben.
2. Lagerhalfte (2) hochklappen.
3. Me erwelle au der unteren Lagerhalfte heben
und au der Antrieb eite (3) herau ziehen.
Der Einbau erfolgt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
3. Druckring(3), Scheibe (4) und kurze Di tanzhul e
(5) von der Welle abziehen
4. Me er (6) und lange Di tanzhul en nacheinander
abziehen.
Der Einbau erfolgt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
Lufterwalze ausbauen
Die Lufterwalze au bauen und die Stahlfederzinken
erneuern erfolgt analog zur Me erwelle.
Storungen, die mit Hilfe die er Tabelle nicht behoben
werden konnen mu en in einer autori ierten Fach-
werk tatt behoben werden.
Entsorgung
Ausgediente Gerate, Batterien oder Ak-
kus nicht uber den Hausmull entsorgen!
Verpackung, Gerat und Zubehor ind au recycling-
fahigen Materialien herge tellt und ent prechend zu
ent orgen.
Messer ausbauen (Bild I)

1. Skt.-Schraube (1) herau chrauben.
2. Kugellager (2) vor ichtig von der Welle (8)
abziehen.

Safety and protective devices
Motor protection switch
The motor protection witch witche off the carifier/
aerator if the motor i overloaded. Do not deactivate
the function of the motor protection witch.
Proceed a follow if the motor protection witch ha
witched off the machine:
1. Di connect the machine from the main .
2. Determine the cau e of the overload.
3. After allowing the machine to cool down for 2 to
3 minute , reconnect the power cable and tart
operating the machine.

The machine i equipped with an operator pre ence
control which top the machine when it i relea ed.
Visual safety indicator (Fig. C, Fig. H)
The vi ual afety indicator di play when the work
haft i ecured. The work haft i ecured correctly
when the green mark i vi ible (5 mm).
Startup
■ Comply with working time regulation in force in
your country
Power cable safety
■ Only u e rubber- heathed cable with quality
H05RN-F acc. to DIN/VDE 0282 with a conductor
cro ection of 3 x 1.5 mm2
■ The type de ignation mu t be marked on the
power cable. The plug and coupling ocket mu t
be made from rubber or heathed in rubber, and
be in accordance with DIN/VDE 0620
■ Only u e a power cable with ufficient length
■ The power cable, plug and coupling ocket mu t
be protected again t pla h water
■ Repair on the power cable, plug and coupling
ocket are only allowed to be carried out by au-
thori ed peciali t companie . A defective power
cable (e.g. with crack , cut , cru hed or kinked
point in the in ulation) i not allowed to be u ed
■ Protect the plug connection again t moi ture

Do not damage or cut the power cable.

Establishing the mains connection (Fig. E)
1. Connect the coupling part of the power cable to
the plug on the afety pu hbutton witch.
2. Coil the power cable into a loop and hook it into
the cable train relief. Leave the loop long enough
for the cable train relief to be able to lide from
one ide to the other.
Danger!
Never operate the machine from main ocket
which do not have a re idual-current circuit breaker.
Setting the working depth (Fig. D)
/ \ Important!
Only et the working depth if the motor i witched
off and the blade haft i topped.
Set the working depth of the blade haft at the dial
elector.
1. Tilt the carifier backward with the handlebar.
2. Pu h the twi t witch down and turn it to level "2".
Positions on the dial selector:
1 - 5 = Setting the working depth (Fig. D)

Do not deactivate the function of the operator pre -
ence control.
Rear flap
The machine i equipped with a rear flap.
Assembly
A emble the machine in accordance with the illu tra-
tion (Fig . A, B).

The machine i not allowed to be operated unle it

Alway perform a vi ual check prior to tartup. Do
not operate the machine if the blade y tem and/or
the fa tening part are loo e, damaged or worn.

The correct working depth depend on:
■ the condition of the lawn
■ the wear on the blade
If the working depth i incorrect:
■ the carifier will top
■ the motor will tall
In thi ca e, move the dial elector back to a hallower
working depth.
Starting the motor (Fig. F, G)
1. Pu h and hold the button of the afety pu hbutton
witch.
2. Pull the operator pre ence control again t the
handlebar. The motor tart .
Switching off the motor
1. Relea e the operator pre ence control. It automati-
cally return to it initial po ition. The motor i
witched off.
Hooking in/unhooking the grass catcher
1. Switch off the motor before hooking in/unhooking
the gra catcher.
2. Wait for the blade haft to come to a top
General notes on operation
■ The blade y tem mu t be able to turn entirely
freely in order for the machine to be tarted
■ Keep the power cable out of the working area
■ Do not place your hand and feet clo e to any
rotating part
■ Only control the machine u ing the handlebar. Thi
en ure the nece ary afety clearance.
■ Be particularly careful when turning the carifier or
if you are pulling the machine behind you
■ Make ure you can tand ecurely on lope
■ Alway carify acro the lope
■ Never carify on teep lope
■ Alway carify at walking pace
■ Never tilt or tran port the machine when the motor
i running
■ Have the machine checked by a peciali t if the
following event occur:
■ After running into an ob tacle
■ If the motor top uddenly
■ If a blade i bent
■ If the blade haft i bent
■ If the V-belt i defective

Removing the blade shaft (Fig. H)
1. Un crew and remove the crew (1) of the bearing.
2. Fold up the bearing half (2).
3. Lift the blade haft out of the lower bearing half
and pull it out of the drive ide (3).

2. Carefully pull the ball bearing (2) off the haft (8).
3. Pull the thru t ring (3), wa her (4) and hort
pacer tube (5) off the haft.

het lo werken en beluchten van gazon (verticuteren)

Veiligheidsinstructies

Veiligheids- en beveiligingsvoorzie-
ningen
Motorbeveiligingsschakelaar
Bij overbela ting van de verticuteermachine/beluchter
chakelt de motorbeveiliging chakelaar de motor
uit. De motorbeveiliging chakelaar mag niet buiten
werking worden gezet.
Al de motorbeveiliging chakelaar het apparaat het
uitgezet, ga dan al volgt te werk:
1. Haal het apparaat van het troomnetwerk.
2. Lo de oorzaak van de overbela ting op.
3. Her tel na een afkoeltijd van 2 tot 3 minuten de
troomtoevoer weer en neem het apparaat in
gebruik.

Veiligheidsschakelbeugel
Het apparaat i voorzien van een veiligheid chakel-
beugel die, nadat deze i lo gelaten, ervoor zorgt dat
het apparaat topt.
Optische veiligheidsindicatie (afbeelding C, H)
De opti che veiligheid indicatie geeft de beve tiging
weer van de werka . Bij een zichtbare groene markering
(5 mm) i de werka op de jui te wijze beve tigd.
Ingebruikname
■ Neem de land pecifieke voor chriften voor de ge-
bruik duur in acht
Veiligheid voedingskabel
■ Gebruik uit luitend rubberen noeren van de kwa-
liteit H05RN-F conform DIN/VDE 0282 met een
leidingdiameter van 3 x 1,5 mm2.
■ De typeaanduiding moet vermeld zijn op de voe-
ding kabel. De tekker en de koppeling moeten
van rubber of met rubber ommanteld zijn en vol-
doen aan DIN/VDE 0620.
■ Gebruik uit luitend een voeding kabel met een
afdoende lengte.
■ De voeding kabel, tekker en koppeling moeten
patwatervrij zijn.
■ Reparatie aan de voeding kabel, de tekker en de
koppeling mogen uit luitend door geautori eerde
vakbedrijven worden uitgevoerd. Een defecte voe
ding kabel (bijv. met cheuren, met inge neden,
geplette of geknikte plekken in de i olatie) mag
niet gebruikt worden.
■ Be cherm teekverbindingen tegen vocht.
/ \ Gevaar!
De voeding kabel niet be chadigen of door nijden.
In geval van chade moet de voeding kabel meteen
van het troomnetwerk gehaald worden.
Voorwaarden electriciteitsvoorziening
■ 230 V/50 Hz wi el troom
■ Minimum diameter
■ Voeding kabel = 1,5 mm2
■ Minimale beveiliging netaan luiting = 10 A
■ Aardlek chakelaar
■ Maximale uit chakel troom = 30 mA.
Stroomaansluiting herstellen (afbeelding E)
1. Steek de koppeling van de troomkabel in de tekker
van de veiligheid druk chakelaar.
2. Maak een lu van de voeding kabel en hang deze
in de kabeltrekontla ting. Maak de lu zo lang dat
de kabeltrekontla ting van de ene naar de andere
kant kan glijden.
Gevaar!
Gebruik het apparaat nooit met een tekkerdoo zon-
der aardlek chakelaar.
Werkdiepte instellen (afbeelding D)
/ \ Let op!
Stel de werkdiepte uit luitend in al de motor uit taat
en de me wal til taat.
Stel de werkdiepte van de me wal in met de keu-
zeknop.
1. Kantel de verticuteermachine met de duwboom
naar achteren.
2. Duw de draai chakelaar omlaag en draai in tand "2".
/ \ Gevaar!
Zet de veiligheid chakelbeugel niet buiten werking.
Achterkap
Het apparaat i voorzien van een achterkap.
Montage
Monteer het apparaat conform de tekeningen (afbeel-
ding A, B).
/ \ Let op!
Pa na volledige montage mag het apparaat gebruikt
worden.
/ \ Let op!
Voer voor ingebruikname altijd een vi uele controle
uit. Met lo zittende, be chadigde of ver leten me -
en en/of beve ting onderdelen mag het apparaat
niet gebruikt worden.

Standen van de keuzeknop:
1 - 5 = in telling van de werkdiepte (afbeelding D)
De jui te werkdiepte wordt bepaald aan de hand van:
■ de toe tand van het gazon
■ de lijtage van de me en
Bij een onjui te werkdiepte:
■ blijft de verticuteermachine teken
■ trekt de motor niet door
Zet de keuzeknop in dat geval op een minder lage
werkdiepte.
De motor starten (afbeelding F, G)
1. De knop van de veiligheid druk chakelaar indruk-
ken en ingedrukt houden.
2. Trek de veiligheid beugel tegen de duwboom. De
motor tart.
3. Knop van de veiligheid druk chakelaar lo laten.
De motor uitzetten
1. Veiligheid beugel lo laten. Deze gaat automati ch
naar de begin tand. De motor i uitge chakeld.
Opvangbak aan-/loskoppelen
1. Schakel de motor uit voordat u de opvangbak
aan-/lo koppelt.
2. Wacht tot de me wal tot til tand i gekomen.
Algemene aanwijzingen voor het gebruik
■ Om het apparaat te kunnen tarten, moet het me -
en y teem een volledige vrij kunnen lopen
■ Houd de aan luitleiding uit de buurt van het te be-
werken terrein
■ Brengen handen en voeten niet in de buurt van ro-
terende onderdelen
■ Manoeuvreer het apparaat uit luitend met behulp
van de duwboom. Daardoor i een veilige af tand
gewaarborgd
■ Wee extra alert bij het omkeren van de verticu-
teermachine of al u het apparaat naar u toetrekt
■ Zorg ervoor dat u veilig op hellingen taat
■ Verticuteer altijd dwar op de helling
■ Verticuteer nooit op teile hellingen
■ Gebruik de verticuteermachine uit luitend in
wandeltempo
■ Het apparaat nooit met lopende motor kantelen of
vervoeren
■ Controle door een vakman i nodig:
■ wanneer er tegen een ob takel i gereden
■ bij onmiddellijke til tand van de motor
■ bij een verbogen me
■ bij een verbogen me wal
■ bij een defecte V- naar
Onderhoud en verzorging
/ \ Gevaar!
Kan op let el door de me wal .
Draag be chermende hand choenen!
■ Haal voorafgaand aan alle onderhoud - en reini-
ging werkzaamheden de tekker lo ! Wacht tot de
wal tot til tand i gekomen.
■ De behuizing mag niet geopend worden.
■ Gebruik uit luitend originele re erveonderdelen.
■ Vervang ver leten of be chadigd werkgereed chap
en bouten per et om onbelan te voorkomen.
■ Spuit het apparaat niet choon met water!
Indringend water kan de motor en de veiligheid 
druk chakelaar vernielen.
■ Maak het apparaat na ieder gebruik choon
( patel, doek, etc.).
Meswals demonteren (afbeelding H)
1. Draai de chroef (1) van de lager eruit.
2. Klap de lagerhelft (2) omhoog.
3. Til de me wal uit de onder te lagerhelft en trek
deze eruit aan de aandrijfkant (3).
De montage vindt plaat in omgekeerde volgorde.
