Einleitung
Lesen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme der Garten-
pumpe diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig
durch. Dies ist die Voraussetzung für sicheres
Arbeiten und störungsfreie Handhabung.
Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung stets
griffbereit auf und geben Sie diese auch an
Nachbenutzer weiter.
Nachfolgend sind die in dieser Bedienungsanlei-
tung verwendeten Symbole erläutert:
VORSICHT
steht bei Arbeits- oder Betriebsverfahren,
die genau einzuhalten sind, um eine
Gefährdung von Personen auszuschlie-
ßen.
ACHTUNG
enthält Informationen, die beachtet werden
müssen, um Schäden am Gerät zu verhin-
dern.
HINWEIS
steht für technische Erfordernisse, die
besonders beachtet werden müssen.
Sicherheitshinweise
Die Gartenpumpe darf nur an einer elektri-
schen Einrichtung gemäß DIN/VDE 0100,
Teil 737, 738 und 702 (Schwimmbäder)
betrieben werden. Zur Absicherung müs-
sen ein Leitungsschutzschalter 10 A sowie
ein Fehlerstromschutzschalter mit einem
Nennfehlerstrom von 10/30 mA installiert
sein.
Die Angaben über Netzspannung und
Stromart am Typenschild müssen mit den
Daten Ihres Elektronetzes übereinstim-
men.
Verwenden Sie nur Verlängerungskabel
3 x 1,5 mm2der Qualität H07RN-F nach
DIN 57282/57245 mit spritzwasserge-
schützter Steckvorrichtung. Kabeltrommeln
müssen vollständig abgerollt sein.
Die Gartenpumpe darf nicht betrieben
werden von:
−Personen, die die Bedienungsanlei-
tung nicht gelesen und verstanden
haben.
−Kindern und Jugendlichen unter 16
Jahren.
Die Gartenpumpe darf nur bestimmungs-
gemäß verwendet werden. Stellen Sie vor
Gebrauch sicher, dass:
−die Gartenpumpe, das Anschlusskabel
und der Netzstecker nicht beschädigt
sind.
−die Gartenpumpe nicht einem
direkten Wasserstrahl oder Regen
ausgesetzt ist.
Beschädigte Gartenpumpen dürfen nicht
betrieben werden. Reparaturen dürfen nur
durch unsere Kundendienst-Werkstätten
durchgeführt werden.
Die Gartenpumpe nur am Tragegriff
hochheben und transportieren. Benutzen
Sie das Anschlusskabel nicht, um den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen.
Schalten Sie vor Wartungs-, Pflege- und
Reparaturarbeiten oder bei Störungen
stets die Pumpe aus und ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker des Anschlusskabels aus der
Steckdose. Schützen Sie den Netzstecker
vor Feuchtigkeit.
Jegliche eigenmächtigen Veränderungen
oder Umbauten an der Gartenpumpe sind
verboten.
Auf einen sicheren Stand der Gartenpum-
pe achten.
Verletzungsgefahr durch heißes Was-
ser!
Bei längerem Betrieb (>10 min) gegen die
geschlossene Druckseite kann sich das
Wasser in der Pumpe stark erhitzen.
Diese Gefahr kann entstehen durch:
−geschlossene Druckseite
−Wassermangel in der Saugleitung
−unsachgemäßer Installation
−defektem Druckschalter
In diesem Fall:
−Pumpe vom Netz trennen
−Pumpe und Wasser abkühlen lassen
−Wasserstand saugseitig prüfen
−Leitungen auf Dichtheit prüfen
−Installation prüfen
−Druckschalter prüfen
−Pumpe erst nach Mängelbehebung
wieder in Betrieb nehmen.

Verwendungszweck

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Gartenpumpe ist für die private Nutzung in
Haus und Garten bestimmt. Sie darf nur im
Rahmen der Einsatzgrenzen gemäß den techni-
schen Daten betrieben werden. Die Gartenpum-
pe ist ausschließlich für folgende Anwendungen
geeignet:
−zum Bewässern und Gießen (z. B. von
Grünanlagen, Gemüsebeeten und Gärten)
−für das Um- und Auspumpen von Behältern
(z. B. Schwimmbecken)
−zur Wasserentnahme aus Brunnen, Regen-
tonnen und Zisternen.
Die Gartenpumpe ist ausschließlich zum Fördern
von folgenden Flüssigkeiten geeignet:
−Klarwasser
−Regenwasser
−chlorhaltigem Wasser (Schwimmbadwasser).
Bestimmungswidrige Verwendung
Die Gartenpumpe darf nicht im Dauerbetrieb
eingesetzt werden. Sie ist nicht geeignet zur
Förderung von:
−Trinkwasser
−Salzwasser
−Lebensmitteln
−Schmutzwasser
−aggressiven Medien, Chemikalien
−ätzenden, brennbaren, explosiven oder
gasenden Flüssigkeiten
−Flüssigkeiten, die wärmer als 35 °C sind
−sandhaltigem Wasser und schmirgelnden
Flüssigkeiten.

Funktion
Die Gartenpumpe saugt das Wasser über die
Saugleitung (1) an und fördert es zum Pumpen-
ausgang (3).
Die Gartenpumpe wird durch den Schalter (6)
ein- und ausgeschaltet.
Thermoschutz
Die Gartenpumpe ist mit einem Thermoschalter-
ausgestattet, der die Pumpe bei Überhitzung
abschaltet.
Nach einer Abkühlphase von ca. 15 – 20 Minu-
ten schaltet die Pumpe selbsttätig wieder ein.
Geräteaufstellung, Inbetriebnahme
•Stellen Sie die Gartenpumpe auf einen
ebenen, überflutungssicheren, festen und
waagerechten Standort.
•Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Gartenpumpe
vor Regen und direktem Wasserstrahl ge-
schützt ist.
Saugleitung montieren
Wählen Sie die Länge der Saugleitung so
aus, dass die Gartenpumpe nicht trockenlau-
fen kann. Der Saugschlauch muss sich
immer 30 cm unterhalb der Wasseroberflä-
che befinden.
•Montieren Sie die Saugleitung. Achten Sie
dabei auf dichten Anschluss, ohne das Ge-
winde zu beschädigen.
Bei einer Ansaughöhe über 4 m sollte ein
Saugschlauch mit einem Durchmesser
größer 1“ montiert werden. Wir empfehlen
das Verwenden einer AL-KO Sauggarnitur
(12) mit Saugschlauch, Saugkorb und
Fußventil (Rückflussstop). Fragen Sie dazu
Ihren Fachhändler.
Bei geringfügig sandhaltigem Wasser muss
zwischen Saugleitung und Pumpeneingang
ein Vorfilter (13) eingebaut werden. Fragen
Sie dazu Ihren Fachhändler.
•Saugleitung stets steigend verlegen.
Bei Verlegen über Pumpenhöhe bilden sich
Luftblasen in der Leitung.

Druckleitung montieren Verstopfungen beseitigen
Verstopfungen der Gartenpumpe wie folgt besei-
tigen:
•Schrauben Sie das Anschlussstück (11) in
den Pumpenausgang (3).
•Entfernen Sie den Saugschlauch am Pum-
peneingang (1).
•Schrauben Sie den Winkelnippel (10) auf
das Anschlussstück und drehen Sie den
Winkelnippel in die gewünschte Richtung. •Schließen Sie den Druckschlauch an die
Wasserleitung an und lassen Sie Wasser
durch das Pumpengehäuse laufen, bis die
Verstopfung beseitigt ist.
•Befestigen Sie einen Schlauch am Winkel-
nippel. Der Winkelnippel kann entsprechend
dem gewählten Schlauchanschluss abge-
schnitten werden. •Vor Wiederinbetriebnahme können Sie durch
kurzes Einschalten prüfen, ob die Pumpe
freiläuft.
•Öffnen Sie alle in der Druckleitung vorhan-
denen Verschlüsse (Ventile, Spritzdüsen
usw.). •Nehmen Sie die Gartenpumpe wie beschrie-
ben wieder in Betrieb.
Gartenpumpe befüllen Frostschutz
Die Gartenpumpe muss vor jeder Inbetrieb-
nahme bis zum Überlauf mit Wasser gefüllt
sein, damit sie sofort ansaugen kann –
Trockenlauf zerstört die Gartenpumpe.
Schützen Sie die Pumpe vor Frost.
Dazu Ablassschraube (9) herausschrauben,
Pumpe entleeren und frostsicher lagern.
•Öffnen Sie die Einfüllschraube (2). Entsorgung
•Füllen Sie über die Einfüllöffnung Wasser
ein, bis der Pumpenraum (8) voll ist.

Ausgediente Geräte nicht über
den Hausmüll entsorgen!
Verpackung, Gerät und Zubehör
sind aus recyclingfähigen Mate-
rialien hergestellt und entspre-
chend zu entsorgen.
•Schrauben Sie die Einfüllschraube (2) ein.
Pumpe ein-/ausschalten
•Stecken Sie den Netzstecker des Anschluss-
kabels in die Steckdose.
Lassen Sie die Pumpe nicht gegen eine
geschlossene Druckleitung laufen.
•Öffnen Sie alle in der Druckleitung vorhan-
denen Verschlüsse (Ventile, Spritzdüsen
usw.).
•Schalten Sie die Gartenpumpe am Schalter
(6) ein.
•Schalten Sie die Gartenpumpe nach Ge-
brauch am Schalter (6) aus.
Wartung und Pflege
Vor Beginn aller Wartungs- und Pflegear-
beiten ist die Gartenpumpe vom Netz zu
trennen. Ziehen Sie den Stecker des
Anschlusskabels aus der Steckdose.
Pumpe spülen
Nach Förderung von chlorhaltigem Schwimm-
badwasser, oder Flüssigkeiten, die Rückstände
hinterlassen, muss die Pumpe mit klarem
Wasser durchgespült werden.

Introduction
Please read the operating instructions carefully
before you use the garden pump to prevent
accidents and ensure the trouble-free operation
of the pump.
Make sure you keep the instructions at hand for
quick reference. If you resell your pump or give it
to another user, please include these instructions
in the sale or the gift.
The following symbols are used in the instruc-
tions:
DANGER
This symbol draws your attention to work
processes or operating procedures that
have to be carefully observed in order to
prevent serious injury to the user or an-
other person.
CAUTION
This symbol draws your attention to infor-
mation you need to ensure that your
system is not damaged due to improper or
careless use.
PLEASE NOTE
The information symbol draws your atten-
tion to essential technical requirements.
For your safety
The garden pump may only be connected
to an electrical device which is compliant
with DIN/VDE 0100, Parts 737, 738 and
702 (swimming pools). Make sure that fuse
protection in the form of a 10 A automatic
cut-out and a fault current guard circuit
with a nominal fault current of 10/30 mA is
installed.
The supply voltage and current specified
on the type plate must be identical with the
voltage and current of your electrical
system.
If you need to connect your pump to an
extension cord, make sure that the cable is
3 x 1.5 mm2, that it corresponds to type
H07RN-F and is compliant with DIN
57282/57245. The connector must be
splash-proof. Cable drums must be com-
pletely unwound.
The garden pump may not operated by
anyone who has not read or does not fully
understand the operating instructions or is
under the age of 16.
The garden pump may not be used for any
other than its designated use. Before
putting the system into operation, make
sure that the garden pump, the electric
cable and the plug are not worn or dam-
aged and the garden pump is not exposed
to water jets or is operated in the rain.
Do not operate the garden pump if it is
damaged. Necessary repairs must be
carried out in a qualified AL-KO service
centre.
Never use the electric cable to lift, carry or
attach the garden pump to another object.
Do not pull on the cable when unplugging
the pump.
Make sure that the pump is unplugged
before beginning any maintenance, repair
or cleaning work. In the event of a malfunc-
tion, immediately unplug the pump. Make
sure that the plug does not get wet.
Do not attempt to make any changes or
modifications to the garden pump by
yourself. You may endanger your life or
invalidate the warranty.
Make sure that the garden pump is placed
securely onto a flat surface when in opera-
tion so that it cannot tip over.
Risk of injury due to hot water!
The water in the pump can heat up signifi-
cantly, during longer periods of operation
(>10 min) against closed outlet side.
This hazard can occur due to:
−side under compression closed
−water shortage in the suction line
−improper installation
−faulty pressure switch
In this case:
−isolate the pump from the mains
−allow the pump and water to cool down
−check water level on inlet side
−check lines for tightness
−check installation
−check pressure switch
−only restart pump after rectifying the
cause of the fault

Use

Designated use
The garden pump is designed for home use in
your house or garden. Please observe the tech-
nical data given in the instructions before putting
the pump into operation.
Your garden pump has been designed for use in
the following applications:
– irrigation and watering, e.g. of your lawn or
flower and vegetable gardens,
– emptying containers or pumping liquid from
one container into another (e.g. swimming
pools),
– pumping water from wells, rain drums or
cisterns.
The system is designed to pump only the follow-
ing liquids:
– clear water,
– rain water,
– chlorine water (pool water).
Prohibited use
Your garden pump is not intended for permanent
operation. The pump may not be used to pump
the following liquids:
– drinking water
– saltwater,
– beverages or liquid foods,
– corrosives or chemicals,
– acids or combustible, explosive or gas-
forming liquids,
– liquids with a temperature above 35 °C,
– sandy water or water containing abrasives.

Function
The garden pump sucks the liquid to be pumped
into the pump through the suction hose (1) and
pumps it out at the outlet (3).
Use the On/Off switch (6) to switch the garden
pump on or off as desired.
Thermal protection
Your pump is equipped with a thermal protection
switch, which switches the pump off if it over-
heats. The pump will remain off until it has
cooled down. After about 15 - 20 minutes, the
pump will automatically switch on.
Setting up and operating the sys-
tem
•Place the garden pump onto a hard, flat
surface so that it cannot tip over and so that
it will not be near the flow of water.
•Make sure that the pump is protected from
rain and any direct exposure to water.
Attaching the suction hose
Choose a hose which is long enough so
that the pump will not suck in air and run
dry. The hose should be at least 30 cm
under the surface of the liquid to be
pumped while the pump is in operation.
•Attach the suction hose. Make sure to screw
it in tightly, but take care not to damage the
threads.
If the liquid to be pumped is deeper than 4
m, you should use a suction hose which is
larger than 1“ in diameter for the best
performance. We recommend our AL-KO
suction set (12), which consists of a
suction hose, strainer and non-return
valve. The suction set is available at your
local retailer’s.
Before pumping sandy water, you must
insert a filter (13) between the suction hose
and the pump inlet or you will dam- age
your garden pump. The filter is available at
your local retailer’s.
•When laying the suction hose, make sure
that it is lower than the pump.
If the suction hose is laid so that it is higher
than the pump, bubbles will be- come
trapped in the line and the pump will suck
air.

Cleaning the pump
•Fill the suction hose.
If you have used your garden pump to pump
chlorine water (swimming pool water) or liquids
which leave a residue, flush your pump out with
clear water after use.
Attaching the pressure hose
•Screw the threaded connector (11) into the
pump outlet (3).
•Attach the elbow nipple (10) to the connector
and turn the nipple so that it points in the de-
sired direction. Clearing blockages
If your garden pump should become blocked so
that it does not suction or pump out liquid, re-
move the obstruction as follows:
•Attach a hose to the elbow nipple. The nipple
can be cut to fit the size of the hose used.
•Clear the pressure line (open valves, spray-
ers, etc.). •Remove the suction hose from the pump
inlet (1).
•Attach the pressure hose to the water tap
and spray water into the pump chamber until
the blockage is flushed out.
Filling the garden pump
Before putting your garden pump into
operation, you must fill it with water until it
overflows to achieve full suction power. Do
not operate the pump while it is dry be-
cause this will cause serious damage to
the pump.
•Check to see that the obstruction has been
cleared entirely by switching on the pump for
a short time. Do not let the pump suck air.
•If the pump runs trouble-free, put it into ope-
ration as described in the instructions.
•Remove the filler screw (2). Frost protection
•Pour water into the opening until the cham-
ber of the pump (8) is full. Store your pump so that it is protected from frost.
Remember to empty it of any remaining liquid
before storing it by removing the filler screw (9)
and dumping out any water.
•Replace the filler screw (2) and tighten it.
Switching the pump on and off
•Plug the electric cable into the socket.

Do not dispose of worn-out
units through the household
garbage!
The appliance, its packaging and
accessories are all produced from
recyclable materials and must be
disposed of accordingly.
Make sure that the pump does not run on a
blocked or closed pressure hose.
•Clear the pressure line (open valves, spray-
ers, etc.).
•Switch the pump on by pushing the switch
(6) to On.
•Switch the pump off by pushing the switch
(6) to Off.
Switching off the system
•Switch the system off by unplugging the
electric cable from the socket.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before beginning any maintenance or
cleaning work, make sure that the garden
pump has been unplugged and take
precautions to ensure that it cannot be
switched on during work!

Malfunctions
Before you attempt to remedy any malfunction of your pump, pull the plug to prevent injury or
death due to electrocution!
What is wrong? What is the possible reason?
How to remedy the malfunction:
Motor does not run. Impeller is blocked.
Remove blockage in inlet area. Clean
the impeller with a jet of water.
Thermal switch has switched off. Wait until the thermal switch has
automatically switched the pump on
again. Check the temperature of the
liquid. Have the pump checked.
No power. Check the fuses. Have a qualified
electrician check the power supply.
Garden pump runs
but is not pumping out
liquid.
Water level too low. Lower the hose further underwater.
Air is trapped in the pump chamber. Fill the pump chamber with water.
Suction hose is blocked. DANGER!
Risk of injury due to hot water!
Clear blockage in suction hose.
Pressure line is blocked. DANGER!
Risk of injury due to hot water!
Clear blockage in pressure line.
Pressure hose is bent. Straighten out pressure hose.
Garden pump is only
pumping out liquid

Introduction
Avant de faire démarrer la pompe de jardin, lire
attentivement le présent livret de mode d’emploi
afin de prévenir tout accident et afin d’assurer un
fonctionnement parfait de l’appareil.
Le mode d’emploi doit toujours se trouver à votre
portée et il doit être transmis à tout usager qui
aura acheté la pompe où à qui on l’aurait cédée.
Dans le présent livret nous utiliserons les sym-
bols suivants:
DANGER
Ce symbole concerne les procédures de
travail et de fonctionnement qui doivent
être respectées attentivement pour éviter
les risques encourus par l’usager ou par
d’autres personnes.
ATTENTION
Ce symbole concerne les informations qui
doivent être respectées afin de ne pas
endommager l’appareil.
REMARQUE
Ce symbole représente une information
concernant les propriétés techniques à
respecter.
Mesures de sécurité
La pompe ne peut être reliée qu’à une
installation électrique conforme à DIN/VDE
0100, Section 737, 738, et 702 (piscines).
Pour des questions de sécurité, s’assurer
qu’un disjoncteur différentiel 10 A soit
installé ainsi qu’un interrupteur de sécurité
pour des pannes de courant avec un
courant nominal de 10/30 mA.
Les indications relatives à la tension de
réseau et au type de courant reporté sur la
plaque technique doivent correspondre
aux caractéristiques de votre installation
électrique.
Si des rallonges sont nécessaires, utiliser
exclusivement un câble de rallonge 3 x 1,5
mm² du type HO7RN-F conforme à DIN

étanche. Les fils ne doivent pas être
emmêlés.
La pompe ne doit pas être actionnée par:
−des personnes qui n’ont pas lu ou qui
n’ont pas compris le mode d’emploi,
−des mineurs de moins de 16 ans.
La pompe doit être exclusivement utilisée
dans des emplois pour lesquels elle est
conçue. Avant de la faire démarrer,
s’assurer que:
−la pompe, le câble d’alimentation et la
fiche ne soient pas endommagés.
−la pompe de jardin ne soit pas direc-
tement exposée à des jets d’eau ou
des jets de pluie.
Ne pas actionner les pompes si elles sont
endommagées. Les réparations doivent
être effectuées exclusivement par les
services après-vente agrées AL- KO.
La pompe doit être soulevée et trans-
portée uniquement par la poignée. Ne pas
tirer sur le câble d’alimentation pour
enlever la fiche de la prise de courant.
Débrancher la pompe avant d’effectuer
des interventions d’entretien, de nettoyage
et de réparations ou en cas d’anomalie.
Protéger la fiche de l’humidité.
Il est interdit d’effectuer arbitrairement une
quelconque modification sur la pompe.
Vérifier l’état de sécurité de la pompe.
Risque de blessure lié à la présence
d’eau brûlante!
En cas d’utilisation prolongée (>10 min),
l’eau de la pompe peut chauffer énormé-
ment lorsque le côté pression est fermé.
Les risques sont liés aux éléments sui-
vants:
−Côté pression fermé
−Manque d’eau dans la conduite
d’aspiration
−Installation non conforme
−Interrupteur à pression défectueux
Dans ces cas:
−Débrancher la pompe
−Laisser la pompe et l’eau refroidir
−Vérifier le niveau d’eau côté aspiration
−Vérifier l’étanchéité des conduites
−Vérifier l’installation
−Vérifier l’interrupteur à pression
−Remettre la pompe en marche après
avoir résolu le problème.

Applications prévues
La pompe est destinée à une utilisation domesti-
que à l’intérieur ou dans un jardin. Elle doit être
utilisée uniquement dans le cadre fixé par les
limites d’emploi conformément aux caractéristi-
ques techniques. L’appareil est exclusivement
approprié pour les applications suivantes:
−irrigations et arrosages (par exemple de
jardins publics, de plates-bandes et de jardin
en général);
−vidange de réservoir ou transvasement
(piscines par exemple);
−drainage de puits, tonneau d’eau de pluie et
citerne.
La pompe n’est appropriée que pour le pompage
des liquides suivants:
−eau claire;
−eau de pluie;
−eau chlorée (eau de piscine).
Applications interdites
La pompe ne doit pas être employée en service
continu. La pompe n’est pas appropriée pour le
pompage:
−d’eau potable;
−d’eau salée;
−d’aliments liquides;
−d’eaux usées;
−de substances corrosives, chimiques
−de liquides acides, inflammables, explosifs
ou volatils;
−de liquides ayant une température supé-
rieure à 35°C;
−d’eau sablonneuse ou de liquides abrasifs.

Fonctions
La pompe aspire l’eau par le canal d’aspiration
(1) et la refoule par le canal de refoulement (3).
Utiliser l’interrupteur (6) pour faire démarrer ou
arrêter la pompe.
Protection thermique
La pompe est dotée d’un interrupteur thermique
qui arrête la pompe en cas de surchauffe. Après
une phase de refroidissement d’environ 15-20
minutes, la pompe redémarre automatiquement.
Installation et démarrage de la pompe
•Positionner la pompe sur une surface plane,
sûre, stable et parfaitement horizontale.
•S’assurer que la pompe soit à l’abri de la
pluie et de jets d’eau.
Montage du tuyau d’aspiration
Etablir la longueur du tuyau d’aspiration de
manière à ce que la pompe ne tourne pas
à sec. Le tuyau d’aspiration doit toujours
se trouver au moins à 30 cm au dessous
de la surface de l’eau.
•Monter le tuyau d’aspiration. Bien serrer en
veillant à ne pas endommager le filetage.
Au cas où la hauteur d’aspiration serait
supérieure à 4 mètres, il faut monter un
tuyau d’aspiration ayant un diamètre
supérieur à 1". Il est conseillé d’utiliser un
kit d’aspiration AL-KO (12) composé de
tuyau d’aspiration, d’un filtre et de sou-
pape de fond (clapet anti-retour). Le kit
d’aspiration est disponible auprès des
revendeurs spécialisés de votre région.
En cas d’eau sablonneuse, un filtre (13)
doit être monté entre le tuyau d’aspiration
et le canal d’aspiration. Le filtre est dispo-
nible après des revendeurs spécialisés de
votre région.
•Placer le tuyau d’aspiration toujours en
position ascendante jusqu‘à la pompe.
Au cas où il serait placé au-dessus de la
pompe, des bulles d’air se formeraient et la
pompe aspirerait de l’air.

Montage du tuyau de refoulement Nettoyage de la pompe
Laver la pompe à l’eau claire après le pompage
d’une eau contenant du chlore ou bien d’une eau
laissant des résidus.
•Visser le nipple (11) au canal de refoulement (3).
•Visser le raccord coudé (10) au nipple et le
faire tourner dans la direction souhaitée.
•Fixer le tuyau au raccord coudé. Le nipple du
raccord coudé peut être raccourci pour être
adapté au raccord du tuyau choisi.
Elimination des obstructions
Si votre pompe est bloquée et qu’elle n’aspire
pas bien ou qu’elle ne débite pas d’eau, éliminer
les obstructions de la pompe comme suit:
•Ouvrir tous les dispositifs de fermeture pré-
sents sur le tuyau de refoulement (clapets,
buses, etc.) •Enlever le tuyau d’aspiration de la tête
d’aspiration (1).
Remplissage de la pompe •Relier le tuyau de refoulement au robinet
d’eau et faire couler l’eau dans le corps de la
pompe jusqu’à l’élimination de l’obstruction.
La pompe doit être remplie d’eau jusqu’à
rabord avant tout démarrage pour permet-
tre une aspiration immédiate. Le fonction-
nement à sec endommage sérieusement
la pompe.
•Avant de faire redémarrer la pompe, vérifier
que celle-ci tourne bien au moyen de brefs
allumages. Ne pas laisser la pompe aspirer
de l’air.
•Ouvrir le bouchon de remplissage (2).
•Faire redémarrer l’appareil comme décrit.
•Verser de l’eau dans l’ouverture jusqu’au
remplissage complet du corps de la pompe
(8). Protection antigel
Protéger la pompe du gel au cours des périodes
de non utilisation. Se rappeler de vider la pompe
de son eau en utilisant le bouchon d’évacuation
(9), avant de la mettre à l’abri du gel.
•Revisser le bouchon de remplissage (2).
Démarrage/arrêt de la pompe
•Brancher la fiche du câble d’alimentation
dans la prise de courant.

Les appareils usagés ne doivent
pas être mis au rebut avec les

tuyau de refoulement fermé ou bloqué.

•Faire démarrer la pompe en positionnant
l’interrupteur (6) sur ON (marche).
•Arrêter la pompe en positionnant
l’interrupteur (6) sur OFF (arrêt).
Entretien et nettoyage
Avant d’effectuer une quelconque interven-
tion d’entretien ou de nettoyage, la pompe
doit être déconnectée du réseau
d’alimentation. Enlever la fiche du câble
d’alimentation de la prise de courant.

Pour éliminer d’éventuelles anomalies, avant toute opération, enlever la fiche de la prise de

Introduzione
Prima della messa in funzione della pompa da
giardino, leggere attentamente il presente libretto
di istruzioni al fine di prevenire incidenti ed assi-
curare un perfetto funzionamento.
Le istruzioni devono essere tenute a portata di
mano e devono essere cedute all'utente succes-
sivo in caso di vendita o cedimento della pompa.
Nel libretto di istruzioni viene usata la seguente
simbologia:
PERICOLO
Questo simbolo riguarda le procedure di
lavorazione e di funzionamento che devo-
no essere rispettate attentamente per
evitare pericoli all'utente o ad altre perso-
ne.
ATTENZIONE
Questo simbolo riguarda le informazioni
che devono essere rispettate per evi- tare
danni all'apparecchio.
NOTA
Questo simbolo informativo riguarda i
requisiti tecnici che devono essere rispet-
tati.
Misure di sicurezza
La pompa deve essere azionata esclusi-
vamente da un impianto elettrico con-
forme a DIN/VDE 0100, Sezioni 737, 738,
e 702 (piscine). Per questioni di sicurezza,
assicurarsi che sia installato un interruttore
di protezione salvavita 10 A così come un
interruttore di sicurezza per correnti di
guasto con una corrente di guasto nomina-
le di 10/30mA.
Le indicazioni relative alla tensione di rete
e al tipo di corrente riportati in targhetta
tecnica devono corrispondere alle caratte-
ristiche del vostro impianto elettrico.
Se sono necessarie prolunghe, utilizzare
esclusivamente un cavo di prolunga-
mento 3x1,5 mm² del tipo H07RN-F
conforme a DIN 57282/ 57245 con una
presa di corrente protetta contro gli spruzzi
d'acqua. Le matasse dei cavi devono
essere completamente svolte.
La pompa non deve essere azionata da:
−persone che non hanno letto e com-
preso il presente libretto d'istruzione,
−minori di 16 anni.
La pompa deve essere impiegata sola-
mente per l'uso a cui è destinata. Prima
della messa in funzione della pompa,
assicurarsi che:
−La pompa, il cavo di alimentazione e la
spina non siano danneggiati.
−la pompa non sia esposta a getti
d'acqua o pioggia diretti.
Non azionare le pompe se sono danneg-
giate. Le riparazioni devono essere esegui-
te solamente dai centri assistenza clienti
AL-KO.
La pompa deve essere sollevata e traspor-
tata solamente dal manico. Non utilizzare il
cavo di alimentazione per togliere la spina
dalla presa di corrente.
Scollegare la pompa prima di effettuare
interventi di manutenzione, pulizia e
riparazioni o in caso di anomalia e togliere
la spina del cavo di alimentazione dalla
presa di corrente.
Proteggere la spina dall'umidità.
È vietato effettuare qualsiasi variazione o
modifica arbitraria alla pompa.
Verificare lo stato di sicurezza della pom-
pa.
Pericolo di ustioni dovute all’acqua
calda!
In caso di funzionamento prolungato (>10
min), dalla parte opposta alla mandata
chiusa, l’acqua nella pompa rischia di
scaldarsi notevolmente.
Le condizioni seguenti possono compor-
tare questo rischio:
– mandata chiusa
−acqua insufficiente nel condotto di
aspirazione
−installazione errata
−pressostato difettoso
In questi casi:
– Separare la pompa dalla rete
−Lasciar raffreddare la pompa e l’acqua
−Controllare il livello acqua lato aspirazi

−Controllare la tenuta dei condotti
−Controllare l’installazione
−Controllare il pressostato
−Rimettere la pompa in funzione soltanto
dopo aver rimediato al problema.

Applicazioni previste
La pompa è destinata all'utilizzo privato in casa e
in giardino. Deve essere utilizzata solamente
nell'ambito dei limiti d'impiego conformemente
alle caratteristiche tecniche. La pompa è idonea
esclusivamente per le seguenti applicazioni:
−irrigazioni e annaffiamenti (per esempio di
giardini pubblici, aiuole e giardini in genera-
le);
−svuotamento di serbatoi o travaso (per e-
sempio piscine);
−drenaggio di pozzi, botti d'acqua piovana e
cisterne.
La pompa è idonea esclusivamente per il pom-
paggio dei seguenti liquidi:
−acqua chiara;
−acqua piovana;
−acqua contenente cloro (acqua per piscine).
Applicazioni vietate
La pompa non deve essere impiegata in servizio
continuo. La pompa non è idonea per il pompag-
gio di:
−acqua potabile;
−acqua salata;
−alimenti liquidi;
−liquame;
−sostanze corrosive, chimiche;
−liquidi acidi, infiammabili, esplosivi o volatili;
−liquidi con temperatura superiore a 35°C.;
−acqua sabbiosa o liquidi abrasivi.

Funzioni
La pompa aspira l'acqua dalla bocca d'aspirazio-
ne (1) e la eroga verso la bocca di mandata (3).
Utilizzare l'interruttore (6) per avviare o fermare
la pompa.
Protezione termica
La pompa è dotata di un interruttore termico che
disinnesta la pompa in caso di surriscaldamento.
Dopo una fase di raffreddamento di circa 15-20
minuti, la pompa si riavvia automaticamente.
Installazione e messa in funzione
della pompa
•Posizionare la pompa su di una superficie
piana, sicura, stabile e perfettamente oriz-
zontale.
•Assicurarsi che la pompa sia protetta da
pioggia e getti d'acqua diretti.
Montaggio del tubo d’aspirazione
Stabilire la lunghezza del tubo d'aspirazio-
ne in modo che la pompa non giri a secco.
Il tubo d'aspirazione si deve sempre
trovare almeno 30 cm al di sotto della
superficie dell'acqua.
•Montare il tubo d'aspirazione. Assicurarsi di
stringere bene senza danneggiare la filetta-
tura.
In caso di un'altezza di aspirazione di oltre
4 metri, deve essere montato un tubo
d'aspirazione con un diametro di oltre 1".
Si consiglia l'utilizzo di un kit d'aspirazione
AL-KO (12) composto da tubo d'aspirazio-
ne, filtro e valvola di fondo (valvola di non
ritorno). Il kit d'aspirazione è disponibile
presso il rivenditore specializzato locale.
In caso di acqua sabbiosa deve essere
montato un filtro (13) tra il tubo d'aspira-
zione e la bocca d'aspirazione. Il filtro è
disponibile presso il rivenditore specializ-
zato locale.
•Collocare il tubo d'aspirazione al di sotto
della pompa.
Nel caso in cui venisse collocato al di
sopra della pompa si formerebbero bolle
d'aria e la pompa aspirerebbe aria.

Pulizia della pompaMontaggio del tubo di mandata
Lavare la pompa con acqua pulita dopo il pom-
paggio di acqua contenente cloro oppure di
acqua che lascia residui.
•Avvitare il nipplo (11) alla bocca di
mandata (3).
•Avvitare il raccordo a gomito (10) al nipplo e
ruotarlo nella direzione desiderata. Eliminazione di ostruzioni
•Fissare il tubo al raccordo a gomito. Il nipplo
del raccordo a gomito può essere accorciato
per essere adattato al raccordo del tubo
scelto.
Se la vs. pompa è bloccata e non aspira o non
eroga acqua, eliminare le ostruzioni come segue:
•Rimuovere il tubo di aspirazione dalla bocca
d'aspirazione (1).
•Aprire tutti i dispositivi di chiusura presenti
sul tubo di mandata (valvole, ugelli ecc.). •Allacciare il tubo di mandata al rubinetto
dell'acqua e far scorrere l'acqua nel corpo
pompa fino ad eliminare l'ostruzione.
Riempimento della pompa
La pompa deve essere riempita d'acqua
fino al troppopieno prima di ogni avvio per
permettere un'aspirazione immediata. Il
funzionamento a secco danneggia seria-
mente la pompa.
•Prima di riavviare la pompa verificare che
questa giri bene tramite brevi accensioni.
Non permettere che la pompa aspiri aria.
•Riavviare l’apparecchio come descritto.
Protezione antigelo
•Aprire il tappo di riempimento (2).
Proteggere la pompa dal gelo durante periodi di
non utilizzo. Ricordare di svuotare la pompa
d'acqua utilizzando il tappo di scarico (9), prima
di metterla al riparo dal gelo.
•Versare acqua nell'apertura fino al riempi-
mento del corpo pompa (8).
•Riavvitare il tappo di riempimento (2).
Avvio/arresto della pompa
•Inserire la spina del cavo di alimentazione
nella presa di corrente.

Non smaltire gli apparecchi
usati con i rifiuti domestici!
L’imballo, la macchina e gli acces-
sori sono prodotti con un materiale
che può essere riciclato e di
conseguenza vanno smaltiti in
modo appropriato.
Non far girare la pompa con il tubo di
mandata chiuso o bloccato.
•Aprire tutti i dispositivi di chiusura presenti
sul tubo di mandata (valvole, ugelli ecc.).
•Avviare la pompa posizionando l'interruttore
(6) su ON.
•Arrestare la pompa posizionando l'interrutto-
re (6) su OFF.
Manutenzione e pulizia
Prima di effettuare qualsiasi intervento di
manutenzione e pulizia, la pompa deve
essere scollegata dalla rete di alimentazio-
ne. Togliere la spina del cavo di alimenta-
zione dalla presa di corrente.
