QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE – USE
Century
Raise the lift hygiene chair and pull it away
from the end of the bath. Help the patient to
move their legs over the edge of the bath.
Dry the patient.
Press the shower handle trigger
and push in the Lock button on
the side to get continuous water
ow.
Feel the water with a bare hand. Adjust
temperature if needed. Shower the patient.
Lift off the shower handle, direct it down into
the bathtub. Press the trigger on the shower
handle.

Press the Patient Shower button.
After the bath, open the drainage
plug and help the patient to sit up.
Risk of scalding
Press the Tub Fill button. Feel the water with
a bare hand before patient enters the bath.
Adjust temperature if needed.

Close the drainage plug.

Bathe the patient. Do not leave the
patient alone.

Position the lift hygiene chair in the
middle of the bath and lower the
lift as far as possible.

Position the lift hygiene chair next to the end of
the bath. Raise the lift hygiene chair and move the
patient over the edge of the bath.

Position the back rest against
the patient’s back. Raise the lift
hygiene chair to a convenient
working height.

After each patient: clean and
disinfect according to the
Instructions for Use or Cleaning
and disinfection QRG for Century.

Adjust the water ow with the intensity level knob.
Start with low intensity, turn clockwise to increase.

Press the Hydromassage
system button. The
default runtime is 15
minutes.

Fill up with water to cover the Hydromassage system outlet.

Adjust the water jet direction by turning the outlet. Pull out
the adjustable nozzle to get the jet to cover a wider area.

After treatment is nished, turn off the
Hydromassage.
Fill the bathtub over the Hydrosound
transducer plate.

Press the ArjoSound water
conditioner button during the
lling process. Make sure the
conditioner mixes into the
water.

Make sure the water level is above
the top of the Hydrosound system
transducer plate.

Press the Hydrosound
system button. After
completion, wait 15
minutes before the
Hydrosound system can
be restarted.

Start with a low intensity level. Turn
clockwise to increase. The LED shows
a steady green light and a buzzing
sound is heard when any active level
is selected.

burns. Do not use
when pregnant.

Bathe the patient.

patient’s
head above

Raise the patient out of the
water and shower the patient
thoroughly.
