General De cription
For 30 years Lockwood’s iconic 001 has been securing homes in Australia. The 001 as
we know it today has now become digital. As with the original roduct, the 001Touch™
uses the 001 Deadlatch to secure the door internally however, the external cylinder has
been re laced with a stylish digital touch screen key ad. The ability to use a in code or
key card offers a convenient keyless solution.
Key Feature
Touch creen Keypad
The touch screen key ad has no mechanical buttons which means no trace of your
secret in code.
4-12 Digit pin code
Choose a in code from 4 – 12 digits, this could be ideal for children or occu ants that
loose keys on a regular basis.
Key Card

Program u to 20 Key cards into your lock and have the ability to remove them
individually.

The 001Touch has been tested in accordance with the Australian lock standard. Please
refer to website for more information.
Secure Mode
You have the o tion to lock the 001Touch with the internal key, the key card and in
number automatically unlocks u on entry. This safety Release function minimise the
chance being locked inside your house.
Low power con umption
Unlock your door u to 10,000 times with one set of 4 x AA batteries. We recommend
the batteries are changed every 12 months regardless.

The Key ad is designed to withstand most weather conditions.
Ma ter code
You will have the ability as a Master to add and delete users.
U er code that expire
You have the ability to rogram a code that may last from 3 – 336 hours. This is ideal
when a tradesman requires access to your house for a few hours or when your
neighbour is looking after your home for u to 2 weeks and the duration you would like it
to last.
Cryptic code function
Prevent others from identifying your in code during access, the cry tic code function
confuses the onlooker but at the same time allows you to still gain entry.
U er code and etting remain if batterie are removed
The settings, codes and key cards will remain rogrammed in the lock in the event the
batteries are de leted.
Automatic Locking
Once the correct code or key card is resented, the lock will remain unlocked for 5
seconds and will lock automatically when the 5 seconds ex ire.

Low battery
When your battery reaches critical level (30%) a warning light will come on reminding
you to change the battery.
Battery check function
The battery level can be checked without removing the batteries. With a sim le
sequence of buttons you can tell if your battery level is between 100% - 30% .
Emergency battery connection
In the event your battery goes flat you have two battery contact oints that fit a standard
9V battery, you can lace the battery here and ower the lock tem orarily to enter your
in or key card.

IMPORTANT: The accuracy of the door re aration is critical for the ro er functioning and
security of this
cylindrical roduct. Misalignment can cause remature wear and a lessening of security. The
001TOUCH™
should only be serviced by a qualified technician.
Finish Care: This lockset is designed to rovide the highest standard of roduct quality and
erformance.
Care should be taken to insure a long-lasting finish. When cleaning is required use a soft,
dam cloth. Using
lacquer thinner, caustic soa s, abrasive cleaners or olishes could damage the coating and
result in
tarnishing.
This lock may not be used on moving doors i.e. Cars, Trains or simular a lications. The
lock is designed for
residential and commercial a lications only and door sizes between 32-50mm. We highly
recommend that
a secondary entrance is required in the unlikely event of total failure. This lock may not be
used on fire doors.
The Lockwood 001TOUCH™ combines the trusted 001 Deadlatch lockset with a
contem orary electronic
aesthetic.
Users benefit from an interactive touchscreen that makes day-to-day access effortless and
convenient.
The 001TOUCH™ features the choice of "EZ" or "Advanced" o erating modes. Locks are
shi ed as a default
from the factory in "EZ" mode. The desired o erating mode should be determined before the
com letion of

lock installation, but can be changed at a later time if required.
The Quick Guide includes most of the functions required for initial setu and use, for further
instructions
lease refer to relevant sections. The Quick Guide is for "EZ" mode only, lease refer to the
other sections in
the instructions for "Advanced" mode.

In order to remove one or more key cards rogrammed to the lock, sim ly re rogram all the
key card/s resent.
The key card/s not resent during this will no longer be valid.
You are able to rogram a visitor code into the lock that may last 3 to 366 hours, lease refer
to age 10 for more
details.
It is im ortant to note as a backu that you always need to enrol your user PIN code and key
card.
Batteries – Its im ortant to use four quality Alkaline Batteries and all four batteries are
re laced at the same time.
Prevent others from identifying your in code during access, the cry tic code function

amounts of digits before you enter your actual code, followed by your real in code. e.g. if
you code is 1234
enter 2345672910171234. You are also able to enter you in first followed by any random
numbers.

Internal Lock Operation
KEY INSIDE: Locks or unlocks turn knob by turning key one full turn.
TURN KNOB: Retracts latch bolt when unlocked.
: Automatically unlocks the internal knob u on entry.
BOLT HOLD BACK :
To Engage: Rotate turn knob fully clockwise.
To Release: Rotate turn knob anti-clockwise.
BOLT HOLD BACK WITH KEY :
Prevents unauthorised "hold back" release.
To Engage: Rotate turn knob fully clockwise and lock in
rotated osition by turning key in knob one full
turn anti-clockwise.
To Release: Unlock turn knob by turning key one full turn
clockwise and rotate turn knob anti-clockwise.

To install batteries, first remove Battery Pack Cover by de ressing the buttons
on the to and bottom of the case, then gently remove cover.
Insert 4 good quality alkaline AA batteries into the Battery ack as shown.
2 in the u er battery com artment and two in the lower battery com artment.
Batteries must be new good quality alkaline and not be mixed between new and old.
Caution: Dis ose of them res onsibly and do not throw batteries in fire.
Product Definition
EZ Mode: (Factory default) In this mode you are able to enrol one User PIN code as well as
20 additional key cards.
This mode is normally used for a residential homes.
Advanced Mode: This mode can be selected at oint of installation. Advanced mode
enables you to have a master
code, the master code is able to add 20 different users with a PIN code and 20 Users with a
Key Card (40 users in
total). Only the master can add or delete users using their PIN. This is normally used to
control access or where
users may be removed when required.
U er PIN Code: Is a ersonalised identification number that consist of 4-12 digits
Ma ter Code: Is a ersonalised identification number that consist of 6 digits and is only
required when in
advanced mode. The Master code has the ability to add and delete users.
Key Card: Is a unique card that can be used like a key. The Key Card can be reused as
many times as you want.
The Key Card can be used as a backu if you forget your in code or used instead of your
in. To use the Key Card
resent it near the centre of the Touch screen for 1-2 seconds, the Key Card does not have
to touch the key ad and
can be 2cm away from the lock.
Confirm button: The button is used to com lete verification after user PIN code is entered.
Wrong Code/card Entry Limit: After 5 unsuccessful attem ts at entering a valid user PIN
code or Valid Key Card the
unit will shut down for 3 minutes and not allow o eration during this time. The lock will
dis lay how many minutes
are left in this lock down mode, as er age 6.
Regi tration Button: Located on the battery ack mounting Plate, the Registration button is
used for changing the
user PIN code or enrolling new Key Cards (Only in EZ mode).
Low Battery: When the battery ower is low, the low battery icon will a ear. Further more
the lock will bee
5 times when unlocked. If battery ower is com letely lost, the emergency ower su ly can
be used.
Low Battery check: The battery level can be checked without removing the batteries. With
a sim le sequence of
buttons you can check your battery level (Between 100%-30%). Refer to age 10 For more
details.
Emergency Power Supply: 9V battery connections are located under the front of the
outside escutcheon. In the
event that the four AA alkaline batteries are com letely discharged, a 9V battery can be
used to su ly ower to the
lock. While connecting the 9V battery, the lock can be o erated as normal, thus granting
access so the four AA
alkaline batteries can be re laced.
Soft re et: Located in between the Emergency 9V Power socket this small hidden button is
used to refresh the

internal software, all your settings will remain i.e. user Pin code and Key cards. This can be
ushed with a small
object i.e. en. Once ressed you will hear confirmation. This is only ever used in the event
your lock malfunctions.
Pa age Mode: Enabling Passage mode allows continuous entry for non-restricted traffic.
Passage mode is enabled
or disabled through feature rogramming. Refer to age 10 For more details.
Vi itor PIN: The Visitor PIN is a tem orary code that ex ires after a eriod between 3-336
hours. This is ideal when a
lumber or an electrician requires access to your house for a few hours or when your
neighbour is looking after
your home for u to 2 weeks. All you have to do is rogram the PIN and the duration . Time
may vary u to 10%,
refer to age 10 for more details.
Volume adju tment: You have 3 levels of volume adjustment, 1 – Silent 2 – Medium 3 –
Loud (3-Factory default)
Silent Mode: Enabling Silent mode shuts off the code confirmation tone layback for use in
quiet areas.

EZ mode allows for a single User PIN Code to be assigned.
U to 20 Key Cards can be rogrammed into the 001 Touch in this mode.
With the use of the User PIN Code a number of basic functions outline on age 10 can be
accessed.
A User PIN Code between 4 to 12 digits can be entered.
For rogramming new User PIN Code in EZ mode refer to the next age.
