Exo Chair Cactus Replacement
1. Remove the old cactus from your chair
2. Use the provided smaller 1/8" Allen hex key to remove the (4)
button head screws and washers that are securing the chair
pad to the wooden frame. Keep these screws and washers,
they will be reused. See Figure A.

SEE PAGE 6
3. Use the provided bigger 5/32" Allen key to remove the (2) flat
head screws on the top of the cactus to the wooden frame,
and the (2) button head screws that secure the bottom of the
cactus to the rear wood frame. Keep these screws, they will be
reused. See Figure B.

6. Place the pad on top of the frame and use the (4) removed
chair pad screws with washers, tighten the pad to the top of
the wooden frame.
Pull the spring hook by the attached nylon web up over the
desired height onto the horn. Continue to slide the hook back
down the horn so that the ring will fall into the groove in the
plastic backer. For proper alignment see Figure D.
Your chair is ready to use.
NOTE: DO NOT use your chair if the nylon web is attached to the
hooks
DO NOT use your chair if the spring ring is not in the
designed groove of the plastic back
USING YOUR NEW EXO CHAIR CACTUS 2.0 BRACKET:
INSTALL EXO CHAIR CACTUS 2.0 BRACKET:
4. Remove the old cactus from your chair
5. Place the new Cactus 2.0 Bracket in the same orientation
as the removed bracket. Using the removed bracket screws,
secure the new bracket onto the wooden frame as shown in
Figure C.

1. Disconnect all springs that may be attached to your cactus
and lay the pedal flat.
2. Use a Phillips Head Screwdriver (power drill highly
recommended) to remove the (2) button head screws on the
top of the cactus that is held to the underside of the chair pad
wood. You can throw these screws out, they will not be reused.
See Figure E.
(TIP) Laying the chair on the back side is easier to get access and
leverage to turn these screws.
REMOVAL OF COMBO CHAIR CACTUS BRACKET:

»Phillips Head Screwdriver #2 drive (recommend a power drill with #2 bit)

3. Use the provided 1/8" Allen hex key to remove the (4) button
head screws that are securing the cactus to the back and
bottom of the wooden frame. Keep these screws, they will be
reused. See Figure F.
4. Remove the old cactus from your chair.
5. Repeat the Steps 1-4 for the second cactus.
INSTALL COMBO CHAIR CACTUS 2.0 BRACKET:
6. Place the new Cactus 2.0 Bracket in the same orientation as
the removed bracket. Using the removed (4) bracket screws,
secure the new bracket onto the wooden frame as shown in
Figure G. The (2) shorter screws will go on the vertical side,
the (2) longer screws will go in the bottom.

7. Use (2) provided screws and a Phillips head screws to tighten
the bracket to the top of the wooden frame.
8. Repeat Steps 5 and 6 for the other Cactus 2.0

USING YOUR NEW COMBO CHAIR CACTUS 2.0 BRACKET:
USING YOUR NEW COMBO CHAIR CACTUS 2.0 BRACKET
WITH HIGH BACK:
Pull the spring hook by the attached nylon web up over the
desired height onto the horn. Continue to slide the hook back
down the horn so that the ring will fall into the groove in the
plastic backer. For proper alignment see Figure H.
Your chair is ready to use.
Hold the spring by the coil body, move it to the desired height
and place the ring onto the cactus horn. Ensure that if there is
a nylon webbing on the hook, the nylon web is at the bottom of
the hook. If the nylon webbing is on the back of the hook when
trying to install, the webbing may not fit between the wood and
plastic backer. Continue to slide the hook back down the horn so
that the ring will fall into the groove in the plastic backer, when
installed properly the ring will be straight up and down. Your chair
is ready to use.

DO NOT use your chair if the spring ring is not in the
designed groove of the plastic back

3. Use the provided 5/32" Allen hex key to remove the (2) button
head screws that are securing the cactus to the back of the
wooden frame. Keep these screws, they will be reused.

4. Remove the old cactus from the chair.
5. Repeat the Steps 1-4 for the second cactus
6. Place the new Cactus 2.0 Bracket in the same orientation as
the removed bracket. Using the removed (2) back bracket
screws, secure the new bracket onto the wooden frame as
shown in Figure L.
7. Use the (2) removed top screws to tighten the bracket to the
top of the wooden frame.
8. Repeat Steps 5 and 6 for the other Cactus 2.0
