This section contains safety instructions that will
help protect from risk of personal injury or property
damage.
Failure to follow these instructions invalidates the
granted warranty.
1.1 General safety

•Do not use the applance wth an extenson cord.
•Do not touch the plug of the applance wth damp
or wet hands.
•Do not pull the power cable when unpluggng the
applance.
•Unplug the applance before cleanng, dsassembly,
accessory replacement and wat for t to stop
completely.
•When emptyng the contaner, durng cleanng and
grabbng choppng blades wth bare hands serous
njures could result due to ncorrect use. Use the
plastc secton tryng to hold the choppng blade.
•Never touch blades whle usng the applance.
There s the possblty of njury due to ncorrect
usage.
•After cleanng, dry the applance and all parts
before connectng t to mans supply and before
attachng the parts.

1.2 Complance wth the WEEE Drectve and
dsposal of waste products
This product does not include harmful and prohibited materials
specified in the “Regulation for Supervision of the Waste Electric
and Electronic Appliances” issued by the Ministry of Environment
and Urban Planning. Complies with the WEEE Regulation. This
appliance has been manufactured with high quality parts and
materials which can be reused and are suitable for recycling. Therefore, do
not dispose the appliance with normal domestic waste at the end of its
service life. Take it to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment. Ask the local authority in your area for these collec-
tion points. Help protect the environment and natural resources by recy-
cling used products.

1.3 Package nformaton
Package of the product is made of recyclable materials in accord-
ance with our national legislation. Do not dispose of the packag-
ing materials together with the domestic or other wastes. Take
them to the packaging material collection points designated by
the local authorities.
1.4 Thngs to do for energy savng
Cut the solid food into small pieces before placing them in the appliance as
stated in the user manual. Follow the other instructions and times speci-
fied in the manual. Select low speed levels if suitable for the food to be
prepared. Switch off and unplug the appliance after using it.

3Operaton
3.1 Intended use
This appliance is intended only for
household use; it is not suitable for
professional use.
It is designed to chop small amounts
of vegetables and fruit (strawber-
ries, bananas, etc.).
3.2 Operaton
Clean the appliance parts before
initial use (see 4.1).
Remove all packaging and stick-
ers materials and dispose of them
according to the applicable legal
regulations.
AWARNING:
Do not
operate the appli-
ance when it is emp-
ty or its cover is open.
1. Place your applance on a sold
and flat surface.
2. Now set the jug wth the ope-
nng facng down on a level sur-
face.
3. Assemble the blade unt ca-
refully on the jug by turnng t
clockwse and lftng t by holdng
t from the sdes of the unt.
AWARNING:
Do not
remove the blade
unt by lftng t from
the blades.
A
WARNING:
The
blade unit is very
sharp! Handle the
blade unit with ut-
most care, especially
during cleaning, in
order to avoid inju-
ries.
4. Cut the food nto small peces
and put t n the jug.
5. Close the ld by turnng t clock-
wse. Make sure that the cap/
measurng cup s nsde the ld
openng and s secured.
6. Place the jug onto the motor ho-
usng by turnng t clockwse.

WARNING:
Make
sure that the notches
on the bottom of the
jug fit those in the
motor housing.
7. Connect the power plug to a su-
table power outlet.

8. The cuttng speed can be var-
ably adjusted wth the control
dal.

To operate the blend-
er at the low speed,
turn the control dial
to “1”. If you want to
blend with a higher
speed, turn the con-
trol dial to the speed
level “2”.

For short pulses of
blending with a high
speed, turn the con-
trol dial to “P”. When
you release the con-
trol dial, the blender
will stop and return
to “0” automatically.

If ingredients are
to be added during
the blending pro-
cess, then add them
through the opening
in the lid. To do this,
take out the cap/
measuring cup.
9. After the desred consstency of
the blended food has been reac-
hed, turn the control dal to 0 to
swtch off the blender.
A
WARNING:
Never
run the blender for
longer than 1 minute,
otherwise it would
overheat. After run-
ning the appliance
for 1 minute, let it
cool down before us-
ing it again.
10.Take the jug off from the mo-
tor housng by turnng the jug
counterclockwse and open the
ld.
11. Take off the ld and pour the
mxture nto glasses or other
contaners.

Mix 3 units of hard
food and 2 units of
water in order to
have a smooth jug
blender experience.
(i.e: 60 gr hard food
40 ml water)

12.Close the ld by turnng clock-
wse. Make sure that the cap/
measurng cup s nsde the ld
openng and s secured.
3.3 Grnder
1. Place your applance on a sold
and flat surface.
2. Put the coffee beans (max. 50 g.
to be n the grnder jug.
3. Assemble the blade unt care-
fully on the grnder jug by tur-
nng t counterclockwse.
4. Place the grnder jug onto the
motor housng.
5. Connect the power plug to a su-
table power outlet.
6. The cuttng speed can be var-
ably adjusted wth the control
dal.

To operate the blend-
er at the low speed,
turn the control dial
to “1”. If you want to
blend with a higher
speed, turn the con-
trol dial to the speed
level “2”.
7. After grndng, turn the control
dal to 0 to swtch off the blen-
der.
8. Set the grnder wth the openng
facng down on a level surface
and remove the blade unt by
turnng t counterclockwse.

WARNING:
Never
run the blender for
longer than 30 sec-
onds, otherwise it
would overheat.
After running the ap-
pliance for 1 minute,
let it cool down be-
fore using it again.
3.4 Frut Flter
(TBN5400/
TBN5500)
The fruit filter is for fresh fruit
juices and cocktails. It prevents pips
and skins from your drink.
1. Ft the flter nto the mddle of
the jug.
2. Cut the frut nto small peces
and put t n the frut flter.

3. Close the ld of the jug by turnng
t clockwse. Make sure that the

4. Connect the power plug to a su-
table power outlet.

the blended frut has been reac-
hed, turn the control dal to 0 to
swtch off the blender.
6. Take the jug off from the motor
housng by turnng the jug coun-
terclockwse and open the ld.
7. Take off the ld and pour the
frut juce nto glasses or other
contaners.
3.5 Strrer
The stirrer can be used for blending
mixtures or frozen ingredients.
Place the stirrer into the lid hole.
Use the stirrer during the operation
by moving it anti clockwise.

4Cleanng and care
4.1 Cleanng
1. Unplug the applance before cle-
anng.
2. Wat for the accessores used to
stop completely.
3. Remove the blade unt from the
jug after removng the jug (1)
from the applance (see. 3.2).
4. Clean the resdual food n the jug
(1) under runnng tap water.
5. After nstallng choppng acces-
sory nto the jug (1), replace the
jug on the body (4).
6. Completely fll or fll half of the
jug (3) wth warm water and
some drops of dsh-washng l-
qud and operate the applance
n hghest speed for a couple of
seconds.
7. Then remove and rnse the jug.

WARNING:
Do not
immerse the body
(4) in water. You can
wipe it with a damp
cloth.

WARNING:
Chopping blade (2)
is sharp. Do not hold
the sharp edge or
immerse in water
while cleaning.
A
WARNING:
Never
use petrol, solvents,
abrasive cleaners,
or metal objects and
hard brushes to clean
the appliance.

4.2 Storage
•If you do not intend to use the
appliance for a long time, store it
carefully.
•Unplug the appliance before lift-
ing it.
•Store the appliance in a cool and
dry place.
•Keep the appliance and cable out
of the reach of children.
4.3 Handlng and
transportaton
•During handling and transporta-
tion, carry the appliance in its
original packaging. The packag-
ing of the appliance protects it
against physical damages.
•Do not place heavy loads on the
appliance or the packaging. The
appliance may be damaged.
•Dropping the appliance may ren-
der it non-operational or cause
permanent damage.
