Connecting to the SCD

1. Start the SCD Sensor App

. You will ﬁnd the SCD Sensor App

in your

Apple App Store or Google Play free of charge.

2. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone.

3. To activate the SCD, press the button on the device for 1 to 3 seconds.

4. To ﬁnd the visible SCDs in range, tap “Search for devices”.

5. Choose the SCD and follow the instructions on your smartphone to

ﬁnalize pairing.

Conﬁguring the SCD

To conﬁgure your app, follow the steps shown in the app.

Convention for Characters

Only certain characters can be used for an email address and the device name.

fThe following characters are permitted: [A-Z][a-z][0-9][@.,;/\|+-*_]

Notice

The streaming function transmits sensor values at a ﬁxed rate to the app.

Values can be visualized and recorded in the “View” tab. To start streaming,

select the “Streaming” button.

1 - 3 s

The logging function stores raw data in the SCD internal memory. Data can

be later transmitted to the SCD app. To conﬁgure and start logging, select the

“Logging” button in the app.

The threshold function monitors the streamed or logged values and triggers

alarms on BLE accordingly, if values are out of a deﬁned range. To conﬁgure

the thresholds, go to the “Thresholds” tab.

Transferring data

Connect your smartphone with the SCD using the SCD app. To download

existing data in the SCD, go to the “Logging” tab and select “Download”.

Data transfer

fThe downloading process may take several minutes. Logging is stopped

in order to proceed with the transfer.

Lithium battery!

The device contains a lithium battery. Handling the battery incorrectly could cause

a ﬁre.

fRead and follow the valid transportation regulations, if necessary.

Caution

Forfeiting the warranty!

Opening the casing without authorization could present risks to the user and will

void any warranty.

Note: SCD110 uses BLE 4.2 “Just Works” connectivity. This technology cannot pre-

vent from Eavesdropping/Snifﬁng the connection, cloning the device or taking over

the connection, what can affect SCD data integrity.

To avoid the risk of the aforementioned attacks the user shall ensure that the envi-

ronment within the range of the BLE connection SCD is secure.

Verbindung mit dem SCD

1. Starten Sie die SCD Sensor App. Die ﬁnden Sie unter dem Begriff SCD

Sensor App kostenlos in Ihrem Apple App Store oder Google Play Store.

2. Aktivieren Sie auf Ihrem Smartphone Bluetooth.

3. Zur Aktivierung des SCD drücken Sie nun für 1 bis 3 Sekunden den

Button auf Ihrem Gerät.

4. Drücken Sie „Search for devices“, um die sichtbaren SCD in Ihrer

Umgebung zu ﬁnden.

5. Wählen Sie den gewünschten SCD und folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf

Ihrem Smartphone um das Pairing abzuschließen.

Erlaubte Zeichen

Für Mail-Adresse und Gerätename können nur bestimmte Zeichen verwendet werden.

Hinweis

Mit Hilfe der Streaming-Funktion werden die Sensorwerte in festgelegten

Zeitabständen an die App übermittelt. Die Werte können in der Registerkarte

„View” visualisiert und aufgezeichnet werden. Drücken Sie „Streaming“, um

das Streaming zu starten.

Mit Hilfe der Logging-Funktion werden die Rohdaten auf dem internen Spei-

cher des SCD gespeichert. Die Daten können später an die SCD App über-

mittelt werden. Drücken Sie in der App auf „Logging”, um die Funktion zu

konﬁgurieren und den Protokolliervorgang zu beginnen

Mit der Threshold-Funktion werden die gestreamten bzw. protokollierten

Werte überwacht und ein entsprechender Alarm auf dem BLE ausgelöst, wenn

die Werte nicht im deﬁnierten Bereich liegen. Konﬁguriert werden die Schwel-

lenwerte auf der Registerkarte „Thresholds”.

Datenübertragung

Verbinden Sie mit Hilfe der SCD App Ihr Smartphone mit dem SCD. Um die

im SCD gespeicherten Daten herunterzuladen, gehen Sie auf die Registerkarte

„Logging” und drücken Sie „Download”.

Datenübertragung

fDer Downloadvorgang kann einige Minuten dauern. Der Protokolliervor-

gang wird für die Datenübertragung angehalten.

Hinweis

Lithium-Batterie!

Das Gerät enthält eine Lithium-Batterie. Unsachgemäße Behandlung kann zu einem

Brand führen.

fBeachten Sie gegebenenfalls die geltenden Transportvorschriften.

Vorsicht

Garantieverlust!

Unbefugtes Öffnen des Gehäuses kann das Gerät beschädigen. Der Garantiean-

Connexion au SCD

1. Démarrez SCD Sensor App. Vous trouverez “SCD Sensor App” dans

Convention relative aux caractères

Note

La fonction streaming transmet les valeurs de capteur à l’application à une

periode ﬁxe. Les valeurs peuvent être visualisées et enregistrées dans l’on-

glet “View”. Pour lancer le streaming, appuyer sur le bouton “Streaming”.

La fonction logging enregistre les données brutes dans la mémoire interne

SCD. Les données peuvent être transmises par la suite à l’application SCD.

pour conﬁgurer et lancer le logging, appuyer sur le bouton “Logging” de

l’application.

La fonction threshold visualise les valeurs en streaming ou logging et

déclenche une alarme sur BLE si les valeurs se situent en dehors d’une plage

déﬁnie. Pour conﬁgurer les seuils, aller à l’onglet “Thresholds”.

Transmission de données

Connecter votre smartphone au SCD en utilisant l’application SCD. Pour

télécharger des données existantes dans le SCD, aller à l’onglet “Logging” et

appuyer sur “Download”.

Transfert de données

fLe processus de téléchargement peut demander plusieurs minutes. Le

logging est stoppé aﬁn de procéder au transfert.

Note

Batterie lithium !

Cet appareil contient une batterie lithium. Toute manipulation incorrecte de la

batterie peut entraîner un incendie.

fLe cas échéant lire et observer les prescriptions de transport en

vigueur.

Remarque : Le SCD110 utilise la connectivité BLE 4.2 “Just Works”. Cette tech-

nologie ne peut empêcher l’écoute / le reniﬂement de la connexion, le clonage du

périphérique ou la prise en charge de la connexion, ce qui peut affecter l’intégrité

des données SCD.

Collegamento all’SCD

Avvertenza

La funzione di streaming trasmette i valori del sensore all’app a velocità ﬁssa.

I valori sono visualizzabili e registrabili nella scheda “View”. Avviare lo strea-

ming, toccando il pulsante “Streaming”.

La funzione logging memorizza i dati grezzi nella memoria interna dell’SCD.

I dati possono essere in seguito trasmessi all’app SCD. Per conﬁgurare e

avviare il logging, toccare il pulsante “Logging” nell’app

La funzione threshold (soglia) monitora i valori trasmessi o registrati e innesca

di conseguenza gli allarmi su BLE, qualora i valori non rientrino in un range

deﬁnito. Per conﬁgurare le soglie, andare alla scheda “Thresholds”.

Trasferimento dati

Collegare lo smartphone all’SCD “con l’aiuto della” relativa app. Per scaricare

i dati esistenti nell’SCD, andare alla scheda “Logging” e premere “Download”.

Trasferimento dati

fIl processo di scaricamento può richiedere diversi minuti. Il logging si

interrompe per consentire di procedere con il trasferimento.

Batteria al litio!

Il dispositivo contiene una batteria al litio. L'errata manipolazione della batteria può

causare un incendio.

fSe necessario, leggere e seguire le regolamentazioni vigenti in materia

di trasporti.
