DESCRIPTION
The AIR-EAGLE XLT TX Is a handheld R.F. transmitter designed to send
a single STOP command to the Air-Eagle XLT Receiver, Model 441P-
8-ESTOP receiver from up to 2500 feet away. When powered on, this
transmitter begins sending a heartbeat “beacon” signal to the receiver
which keeps the relays in an energized state, thus providing a failsafe
link. When the STOP button is depressed, the relays in the receiver
de-energize. If the transmitter loses link to the receiver, the relays also
de-energize. To save battery life, this transmitter incorporates an
On/Off procedure. Seven user programmable frequencies allow
multiple systems to be used simultaneously in the same area.
INITIAL SET-UP
This transmitter comes ready to operate, with rechargeable batteries
installed, and factory programmed to Frequency #1. No setup is
necessary. The following steps must be followed to turn system on or off.
Turn System On:
Step #1 –Depress and hold Button 1/9 until the TX LEDturns GREEN –
approximately 3 seconds.
Step #2 –Release Button 1/9. The TX LED will extinguish momentarily,
then begin to provide the battery charge status (BATTERY CHARGE
STATUS chart).
Step #3 –Once battery chargestatus has concluded, the TX LED will
begin to blink RED a few times a second to show the operator the unit is
powered up and transmitting a beacon signal.
Turn System Off:
Step #1 –Depress Button 1/9 until the TX LED turns RED - approximately
three seconds.
Step #2 - Release Button 1/9. The TX LED will extinguishmomentarily,
then begin to provide the battery charge status (seechart).
Step #3 –Once battery chargestatus has concluded, the TX LED will
extinguish and the transmitter is now powered off.

OPERATION
Once powered on the transmitter begins sending a beacon signal which
keeps the relays in the corresponding receiver energized. Should
transmittergo out of range, or batteries die, the beacon signal stops and
the relays de-energize. When in range, and during normal operation,
pressing the latching E-Stop button will send a command to immediately
de-energize the relays in the receiver.
Once depressed, the E-Stop buttonlatches into place, continuously
transmitting a Stopcommand.To release button and stop transmission,
this button must be twisted clockwise approximately ¼ turn
PROGRAMMING
Please read through these instructions completely before beginning
programming procedure!
At any time, you can check the current frequency setting by depressing
the P/Shift button, for approximately 5 seconds, until the TX LED is
illuminated “RED”. Then release all buttons and watch until the TX LED
begins to blink. The TX LED will blink “RED”one, two,three orfour times
for Frequencies 1 thru 4, or will blink “GREEN” one, two or three times
for Frequencies 5 thru 7 accordingly. See table below for clarification.

To change the setting, follow these steps:
To select from Frequencies 1 thru 8:
1. Depress theP/Shift button until the TX LED is illuminated
“RED”. (Approximately 5 seconds)
2. Release the P/Shift button, then while the TX LED is still
illuminated “RED”, depress button #1 to select “Frequency 1” or
button #2 to select “Frequency 2” etc. If the transmit LED goes
out before you have selected a network, no settings will have
changed, and the LED will blink corresponding to the frequency
that the TX is currently set to. You must then begin again at
step 1 if you wish to change the current setting.
3. The TX LED will blink to confirm that your frequency selection
has been accepted, and then will go out. For instance, if you
have selected Frequency #1, the TX LED will blink “RED” once
to confirm. If you have selected Frequency #6, the TX LED
blinks “GREEN” two times to confirm.
Programming is now complete andthe transmitter is active for normal
operation.
You may repeat the above procedure if you wish to change the frequency
at any time. See note* in SPECIFICATIONS.

last only for as long as such purchaser continues to own the equipment.
