Conventionalwaterltersreducecarbonatehardnessforpreventionoflime
scale deposits, remove concentrations of heavy metals, e.g. lead and copper,
(if contained in the water) and eliminate taste-distorting elements, e.g. chlorine,
from the tap water. An ion exchanger takes on the main function by absorbing
nearly all of the previously mentioned substances, except chlorine, primarily
inexchangewithhydrogenions.Theresult,withconventionallters,isasour
taste due to the low pH-value of the water, which is in particular noticed at the
beginning of the utilisation phase.
BWT takes an entirely different approach and thanks to the innovative
magnesium-technology offers a signicant advantage. In addition to the above
mentionedfunctionsofawaterlter,BWTbyexchangingthecalciumhard-
ness, gives magnesium-ions to the water. The water tastes less sour.

1. Product type and description

Clear water - clear results
Thewaterlterisidealforpreparinghotandcolddrinksaswell
as for cooking. The lime scale content of the water is reduced. Par-
ticlescontainedinthewaterarelteredoutusingnelters.Tea,
coffee as well as ice cubes are clear without any cloudiness.
Better water
Concentrations of heavy metals for example lead and copper
are reduced.
Savings
Scale deposits in coffee machines, espresso machines, pots and
water kettles are reduced, extending their service life. When you
use BWT for drinking water you not only save good money, but
also the cumbersome task of carrying heavy water bottles, when
you use BWT as potable water.
Tasty water
Undesirable odours and taste-distorting substances, e.g. chlorine,
are eliminated from the water. Tea, coffee and drinking water
preparedwithlteredwater,usingthemagnesiumtechnology,reach

3. Intended use
 TheBWTwaterlteringsystemmayonlybeoperatedwithcoldwater
fulllingthelegalrequirementsmadeondrinkingwaterquality.
 Thewaterlterisunsuitablefortheproductionofdrinkingwater;i.e.the
ltermaynotbeusedfortreatmentofcontaminatedwater.
 TheBWTlteredwaterisintendedforshort-termuse.Itmaynotbeexposed
to direct radiation of the sun, is to be stored in a cool place and not longer
than24hours.Ifthelteredwateriskeptlongerthan24hoursinthewater
lteringsystem,whitemarksmayoccurinthejugthroughtheevaporation
of water, which can easily be removed through cleaning.
 Afterlteringmorethan3litrescontinuously,a15minutepauseshouldbe
made.
 Permanentwatercontacttotheltercartridgeisnotparticularlynecessaryin
ordertoguaranteelong-termoperationoftheltercartridge.Theltercart-
ridge continues to function, even if it is taken out of the water for some time.
 If‚Ofcially‘youarerequestedtoboilthetapwaterduetocontamination
withgerms,thisstillappliestoBWTlteredwater.Whentheauthorities
classify the tap water again as harmless and release it for consumption, the
ltercartridgemustbechanged.Thewaterlteringsystemistobecleaned
(see chapter 6.1 and 8).
For certain groups of people, e.g. people with limited immune defence and
forthepreparationofbabyfood,theBWTlteredwateristobeboiled.
Forhygienicreasonstheltercartridgecontainssmallquantitiesofsilver,in
order to suppress the growth of germs. A small quantity of silver may be given
off to the water. It is harmless and in compliance with the corresponding re-
commendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) for potable water.
 Theltercartridgeshouldbereplacedatleast8weeksafteritsrstuse.
 Applianceforthetreatmentofdrinkingwater:
 Attention:inordertoguaranteetherequisiteofdrinkabilityofthetreated
water and to maintain the improvements as declared by the manufacturer,
this appliance requires a regular and periodic maintenance.
4. Efciency of the lter cartridge
Theservicelifeoftheltercartridgevariesaccordingtothelocationwhereit
is used, as the quality of the water is not the same everywhere. The capacity of
theltercartridgedependsonthehardnessofthewater.Theharderthewater,
theearliertheltercartridgewillbeexhausted.

6. Handling Instructions
6.1 Initial operation and lter cartridge change
Priortotherstuseorwhenchangingtheexhaustedltercartridge:Clean
jug,funnelandlidoftheBWTwaterlteringsystemwithadetergentandrinse
thoroughly with warm water. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or scrub-
bingsponges,asscratchmarkscouldbeleftontheBWTwaterlteringsystem.
Jug and funnel can be washed in the dishwasher. The lid may not be washed in
the dishwasher.
Inordertoachievebestpossibleltrationperformance,werecommendyouto
putthenewltercartridgeintapwaterfor5minutes.Afterthatpleasediscard
the water.
Subsequentlyinsertthenewltercartridgeintothefunnelofthewaterltering
system by pressing it in lightly into place.
IftheBWTwaterlteringsystemisequippedwiththeautomaticllingsystem
„Easy-Fill“inthelid,itisnotnecessarytotakeoffthelidwhenllingthejug.
The„Easy-Fill“systemopensautomatically,whenthewaterjetmeetstheope-
ningandclosesautomaticallyafterlling.
DiscardtherstlteredwaterllingandrelltheBWTwaterlteringsystem.
Fineblackparticlesofactivatedcarboncouldbeushedout,whichare,
however,completelyharmless.Inthiscasewerecommendtorellthejugand
discard the water again until it is clear and free from particles.
TheBWTwaterlteringsystemisnowreadyforuse.

remains correct.

7.1 Recommendations on the frequency of lter
cartridge/lter material change
Optimalwaterisonlyguaranteediftheltercartridgeischangedregularly,ide-
allyevery8weeks.TheBWTwaterlteringsystemisequippedwithanelectronic
ormanualexchangeindicator,whichindicateswhentheltercartridgeneedsto
be changed (operation see chapter 6).
7.2 Instructions on interruption of use
Ifuseisinterrupted,pleasekeepthewaterlteringsystemtogetherwiththe
cartridge in the fridge.
Incaseofinterruptionofuseofmorethan2days(weekends),pourouttherst
llingandrellthewaterlter.
Afteradowntimeofmorethan2weeks,replacetheltercartridge
(see chapter 6.1).
8. Care & cleaning of the BWT water filtering system
CleantheBWTwaterlteringsystematleastonceaweekwithadetergentand
rinse thoroughly with warm water. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or
scrubbingsponges,asscratchmarkscouldbeleftonthewaterlteringsystem.
Jug and funnel can be washed in the dishwasher.
DuringuseoftheBWTwaterlteringsystemlimescalemayoccurinparticularon
thelidoftheBWTwaterlteringsystemthroughdriedwaterdrops.Thelimescale
canberemovedwithacommerciallyavailabledecalcicationagent.
The lid including the „Easy-Control“ may not be cleaned in the dishwasher.

9. Proper storage of the lter cartridge
Spareltercartridgesshouldalwaysbekeptintheoriginalpackingfoiluntilthe
ltercartridgeischanged.
Spareltercartridgesaretobestoredinacoolanddryplaceandmaynotbe
exposed to direct sunlight.
10. Recommendation for disposal
Alwaysobservethelocalwastedisposalregulations!
Filter cartridges and lter lling:Exhaustedltercartridgesaredisposedofwith
your household waste.
Packing material: Foils and cardboard packing are - if locally possible - disposed
of according to the system of waste separation. This way you make a substantial
contribution to environmental conservation.
Water ltering system:Thewaterlteringsystemis-iflocallypossible-disposed
of according to the system of waste separation. This way you make a substantial
contribution to environmental conservation.
The exchange indicator „Easy-Control“ is an electronic com-
ponent, which is to be disposed of according to the locally
applicable regulations and legal provisions. The exchange
indicator can be removed from the lid by means of a
screwdriver, which is put under the rim of the „Easy-Control“.
The „Easy-Control“ may only be removed from the lid for
reasons of disposal.

3. 使用注意事項
BWT濾水壺產品僅適用符合飲用水規定的水源。
本產品不適合用於飲用水的製作；本產品不可處理遭受污染的水
經BWT濾水壺過濾後的淨水請盡快使用完畢，請放置陰涼的地方，不可曝
曬在太陽直接照射處。 經過濾後的淨水放置超過24個小時，可能在放置淨
水的容器中產生白色水漬，因為水的蒸發而使礦物質殘留的關係，這水漬
是很容易經由清洗而清除乾淨。
每次過濾超過3公升後，至少需間隔15分鐘。
為使濾芯可長期使用，建議濾芯不要長期浸泡於水中，在濾芯取出的一段
時間後，濾芯依然可繼續使用。
因各地區水質狀況差異，若當地主管機關要求飲用水需燒開後飲用，BWT
濾水壺也需依照此規定。若當地主管機關將當地飲用水重新評定為無害且
放寬使用限制，則必須更換濾芯，濾水壺也必須清洗，以確保水質安全
無虞。(請参閱第6.1章和第8章)
對於某些有免疫系統方面相關疾病者或給嬰兒食用，建議過濾後的水必須
煮沸。
出於衛生需要，濾芯中含有少量銀離子，用以抑制細菌孳生。微量銀離子
可能會滲入水中，其本身無害且符合世界衛生組織(WHO)關於飲用水的相
關規定。
初次使用後，建議每8週更換濾芯。
為確保飲用水品質：
請注意：為確保過濾後水質如製造商提供改善後的品質，濾水壺需定期保
養及清潔。
4. 濾芯效能
依不同地區的自來水水質及實際用水量，皆會影響濾芯壽命，需視實際情形而
定，下表以原水硬度 15-17.8 ° d 計算，實際處理量須依據實際水質硬度而定，
水的硬度越高，濾芯的使用壽命越短。

6. 操作說明
6.1 初次使用及濾芯更換
首次使用前或更換用盡的濾芯時，請將濾水壺上蓋及濾水器徹底用溫水清
洗乾淨。 請勿使用任何具侵蝕性的清潔劑或會造成刮痕的工具清洗。濾
水壺和濾水漏斗可放入在洗碗機中清洗。 上蓋請勿放入洗碗機中清洗，
以免受損。
為了達到最好的過濾效果，請將全新濾芯拆除包裝後，浸泡在水中5分
鐘，浸泡完成後，請取出濾芯，將浸泡後的水倒掉。
將濾水漏斗放入濾水壺後，放入已浸泡完成的濾芯，請輕按濾芯確認已緊
密放入濾水漏斗中。
若濾水壺配有„Easy-Fill“電子更換指示器免掀蓋注水設計，注水時無須取
下上蓋，注水口利用水流力量會自動打開，加水完成後，關閉水流即自動
關閉注水口。
請將第一次過濾後的淨水倒掉，然後再次將BWT濾水壺注滿水，此時過濾
的淨水中若發現少量微細的黑色活性碳顆粒，此為正常現象 。
在此情況下，建議將水倒掉並再次注滿水，直至過濾後的水中無顆粒為
止。
經BWT濾水壺過濾完成後的淨水即可開始使用。

重提醒方式。在注水次數或使用時間到
達時，將在顯示器上閃爍提醒，若未更
換濾芯，Easy-Control將會繼續記錄
注水次數，中斷使用時，可停止計數，
待恢復使用後再重新計數，注水或按
Easy-Control按鈕時，可查看當前注
水次數。
依所適用的濾芯，電子顯示器已內建平

開始使用：第一次使用時，顯示幕上的第一欄會閃爍，按住按鈕3秒，待液

計時方式：採用「使用時間」方式。開始使用後滿14天時，100%會下降至

7. 濾芯使用與使用壽命
7.1 濾芯更換期限建議
為確保過濾水的品質，請定期更換濾芯，BWT濾水壺皆有電子顯示濾芯更換
提醒設計，當顯示器提醒需更換濾芯時，請依照指示更換。（操作請參見第
6 章）。
7.2 關於中斷的使用說明
若中斷使用，建議將濾水壺及濾芯一併放置於冰箱冷藏室中保存。
超過 2 天的情況下，請將第一次過濾後的水倒掉。
超過2週以上未放置冰箱使用過的濾芯，建議更換新濾芯使用。
(詳見第6.1章)
8. 濾水壺的清洗及保養
建議每週一次用溫和的洗劑清潔，再用溫水徹底沖洗乾淨，請勿使用任何具
侵蝕性的清潔劑或會造成刮痕的工具清洗。濾水壺和濾水漏斗可放入在洗碗
機中清洗。
在原水硬度較高地區，在使用過程中，有可能因水殘留在濾水壺上蓋上，
當水乾燥後易造成水垢淤積，建議可使用市售檸檬酸去垢，即可恢復原貌。
配置有Easy-Control”電子式濾芯更換顯示器的上蓋不可使用洗碗機清洗。
100%安全的產品：BWT建議您：每週一次將濾芯放入熱水中浸泡3分鐘，
保養濾芯。

9. 濾芯存放注意事項
全新濾芯未使用前請保持原有密封包裝勿拆封。
未拆封的濾芯請存放於陰涼乾燥處，不可暴露於陽光直接照射的地方，並請
於包裝上有效期限內使用完畢，以確保過濾效能。
10. 關於使用過濾芯及包裝處理
請遵守當地廢物處理條例規定：
濾芯及久置過濾水：使用過的濾芯可與家用垃圾一起清理。
外箱紙盒及濾芯包裝袋：皆使用依據垃圾回收規定材質製造，對環境保護作
出貢獻。
濾水器：請依照垃圾分類處理方式處理，，對環境保護作出貢獻。
Easy-Control”電子式濾芯更換顯示器應按照當地廢物處理條例規定，電子
式濾芯更換顯示器可由上蓋下方將卡榫推開即可拆除。

在来型の浄水器は，水垢の沈澱を防ぐために炭酸硬度を下げ，水に含まれている

清潔な水と清潔な濾過水
この浄水器は，冷暖の飲料水や調理用水を作るのに理想的です。水
垢は減少し，水中の粒子は精細なフィルターを通して除去できます。
お茶もコーヒーも，また角氷も一点の曇りなく綺麗に仕上げることが
できます。

3. 使用目的
当社製浄水器の使用にあたっては，飲料水としての法的水質基準を満たす冷
水 をご用 意ください 。
浄水器は飲料水そのものを作ることはできません。汚染水の処理にはご使用な
さらないでください 。
当社の浄水器で濾過した水は長期間の保存には適しません。直射日光を避け
て冷所に保存し，24時間以内にご使用ください。濾過した水を浄水器の中で
24時間以上保存すると，水が蒸発してポット内に白く曇りを生ずることがあり
ますが，これは容易に拭き取れます。
3リットル以上連続して水を濾過した後は，浄水器を必ず15分間休止してくだ
さい。
フィルターカートリッジを長期間使用可能とするために，それをずっと水に浸す
必 要 はありません 。フィルターカートリッジの機 能は，しばらく水 に浸さなくで
も ，損 な わ れ る こ と は あ り ま せ ん 。
細菌汚染のため水道水を煮沸するようにと当局から指示があった場合には，
当社製浄水器で濾過する水も同じように処理してください。当局が水道水を無
害で使用可能と判断した段階で，フィルターカートリッジは必ず交換してくださ
い。浄水器も清掃してください（6.1，8参照）。
免疫機能が弱い方々などのため，また乳児食を作る場合には，当社製浄水器で
濾過する水は必ず煮沸してください。
衛生上の理由により，フィルターカートリッジには細菌の増殖を防ぐため微量
の銀が含まれています。微量の銀の水への流入は差し支えありません。それは
無害で，飲料水に関する世界保健機関（WHO）の当該勧告に従っています。
フィルターカートリッジは使用開始から遅くとも8週間後には交換してくださ
い。

注意 処理した水の飲用性を確保し，メーカーが公表した改善機能を維持す
るためには，器具の定期的な点検保守を必要とします。
4. フィルター カ ートリッジ の 効 率
フィルターカートリッジの耐用期間は，水質が場所により異なるため，使用場所によ
り変わります。フィルターカートリッジの処理可能量は，水の硬度により異なります。
水が硬質であればあるほど，フィルターカートリッジは早く消耗します。

鉛や銅のような物質はフィルターで減少できますが，必ずしも水道水に含まれてい
るわけではありません。
フィルターカートリッジはDIN 10521に従い浄水器に定められた微生物について
の要件を満たしています。また，DIN 10521に従い塩素，鉛，銅の残留分について
定 められ た 要 件 も満 たしています。
当社製品は厳格な品質基準に従い製
造されています。製造法はHACCPの基
準を満たしています。食品品質は第三
者機関の監視下にあります。

6. 取り扱い方法
6.1 フィルター カ ートリッジ 交 換
使用開始時とフィルターカートリッジ交換時には洗剤とすすぎ剤を使って当
社製浄水器のポット，ファンネルと蓋を湯で洗浄してください。傷が浄水器に
つきますので，研磨洗剤やキッチンスポンジは使わないでください。ポットとフ
ァンネルは食洗機で洗えます。蓋は食洗機で洗わないでください。
濾過の効率を最もよくするには，新しいフィルターカートリッジを5分間水に浸
してから，水を切ることをお勧めします。
その後，新しいカートリッジを浄水器のファンネルの所定の位置に軽く押して
定位置に挿入します。
当社製浄水器が自動注水装置「イージー・フィル」を蓋に備えている場合，ポッ
トに注水する際に蓋を開ける必要はありません。「イージー・フィル」は水流が
開口部にあたると自動的に開き，注水終了後は自動的に閉じます。
最初に濾過した水は捨て，再度浄水器に注水してください。活性炭の細かな
黒い粒子が流れ出ることがありますが，これはまったく無害です。この場合に
は，水が清潔になり粒子がなくなるまで，繰り返しポットに注水するようお勧
めします。
これで当社製浄水器がご利用できるようになります。

6.2 電子交換指示器「イージー・コントロール」

数えて耐用期間を計算し，ディスプレイに
表示してフィルターカートリッジの交換を
促します。フィルターカートリッジを交換し

後の注水回数を数え続けます。注水する

フィルターカートリッジは，フィルターカートリッジの処理可能量（注水回数）に達しな
くとも，少なくとも8週間ごとに交換してください。これは「イージ ー・コントロール」のデ
ィスプレイに表示されます。
「イージー・コントロール」は，耐用期間を3.5年として設計されています。
「イージー・コントロール」に不具合がある場合には，当社のサービス窓口にご連絡く
ださい（11．参照）。喜んで不具合の電子部品を交換いたします。
