PRODUCT OVERVIEW
OPERATION
SETTING UP THE CDC-560
•Be sure that a micro SD card is inserted into the micro SD
Card Slot.
•Remove the thin plastic film from the suction cup.
•Screw the provided suction cup into the bracket mount of the
CDC-560.

Hide the power cable by placing (Wedging)
it in the space between the windshield and
the headliner.
•Clean and dry the area of
the windshield where you
will mount the suction cup.
•Press the suction cup firmly
onto the windshield. Then
press the lock latch down to
secure it and the CDC-560
in place.
•Plug the mini USB end of
the provided power cable
into the Mini USB port of the
CDC-560. Plug the other
end into the cigarette port of
your car.

POWER ON/OFF
When plugged into your car, the CDC-560 will automatically power
on when the car is powered on and automatically power off when
the car is powered off. To manually turn the dashcam on/off, press
and hold the "Power" button. Note: The CDC-560 comes with a
built-in battery that contains just enough power to save any ongoing
recordings. As a result, the dashcam will remain on for a few
additional seconds after the car has been powered off.
RECORDING
The CDC-560 will automatically enter Recording Mode and begin
recording after being powered on. This is indicated by both the
flashing blue LED indicator and the flashing red recording icon on
screen. Recording will automatically stop when the car is turned off.
To manually start or stop recording, press the "Ok" Button.
CAMERA MODE
Camera Mode allows you to take photos with the dashcam, which
are saved to the micro SD card. To enter Camera Mode, press the
"Mode" Button once while in recording mode. To take a photo,
press the "Ok" Button.

AUDIO MODE
Audio Mode allows you to take audio-only recordings of what’s
happening around you. To enter Audio Mode, press the "Mode"
Button twice while in recording mode. While in audio mode press
the "Ok" button to start/stop recording audio.
PLAYBACK MODE
Playback Mode allows you to view and manage the videos and
photos stored on the micro SD card. To enter Playback Mode, press
the "Mode" Button three times while in recording mode. You can
now play/pause video files while in this mode by pressing the "Ok"
Button.
While in Playback Mode, you can also select between deleting,
locking, and unlocking any files by pressing the "menu" button. This
is discussed more in the PLAYBACK MENU section below.
MENUS
BUTTON FUNCTION
•Up and Down Buttons: Navigate through options in the menu.
•OK Button: Select or confirm the highlighted option.
•Menu Button: Next menu, or exit the menu.
RECORDING MENU
•Size: Choose between 1080P, 720p, and VGA.
•Time Stamp: Turn the Time Stamp On/Off.
•Motion Detect: Turn On/Off Motion detection.
Note: Motion Detection automatically turns on the camera and
starts recording when motion is detected in the camera’s field
of view.
•Video Time: The Video Time feature changes the length of the
video clips recorded by the dashcam.
Choose between Off (one continuous file), 1 minute, 3 minutes,
or 5 minutes.
•Voice Record: Record all videos with or without audio by
turning this feature On/Off.

CAMERA MENU
•Size: Choose between 3M, 2M, 1.3M, or VGA for the size of
the image files taken while in Camera Mode.
PLAYBACK MENU
•Delete: This function deletes videos and images from the
micro SD card. You can choose to erase the currently
selected file with the 'Delete One' option or erase all saved
files with the 'Delete All' option.
•Lock/Unlock: Locking a clip means that it will not be deleted
as the camera overwrites files to continuously record. You
can choose to Lock One file, Lock All files, Unlock One file, or
Unlock All files.
•Thumbnail: To view thumbnails of all files on the micro SD
card in Preview Mode, select Execute in the Thumbnail
function.
•Volume: Adjust the volume of playback and button functions,
from 0 (mute) to 6 (loudest).
SETUP MENU
The Setup Menu is accessible from any of the above menus
(Recording, Camera, and Playback) by pressing the Menu
button once to enter the mode’s specific menu, then pressing the
Menu Button again to enter the Setup Menu.
•Format: This function formats the micro SD card, completely
erasing all files on it (including locked files). Be sure to
download all files you wish to save to a separate storage
device, then select Execute to format the micro SD card.
•Language: Select your preferred display language.
•Auto-Off: This feature allows you to adjust how long the
camera will remain on when recording has stopped. You may
choose between having the camera turn off after 1 minute, 3
minutes, 5 minutes or have it remain on indefinitely.

•System Reset: This option resets the CDC-560 to factory
settings. This will also reset all customized choices in the
previously described menus. To perform a system reset,
select Execute in the System Reset function.
•Light Frequency: Choose between 50Hz and 60Hz for the
camera’s light frequency.
•Date Input: The user may use this setting to set the date and
time.
•USB: The user may use this setting to switch between Disk
Drive and PC Cam.
•Screen Saver: This feature allows you to adjust how long
the camera's screen will remain on after the last input. You
may choose between having the camera screen go dark after
1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes or have it remain on
indefinitely.
•Version: Displays the version number.
USB MODE
You can connect the CDC-560 to a computer via a Mini USB
Cable. This allows you to back up your video files and free up
space on your micro SD card. When you plug in the CDC-560, it
will appear as a removable disk on your computer. Follow your
computer’s prompts to safely transfer files and disconnect from
the CDC-560.

the applicable Warranty Period listed below, the Product will be free from defects in material or
workmanship under normal, non-commercial use (“Defects”). Warranty Period encompasses, as
listed below, separate
“Coverage Periods” for Parts and Labor, each Coverage Period for one year, to begin from the
origi-nal date of Customer purchase. If Customer returns a defective Product (or any component
thereof) during the applicable Warranty Period, SUMMIT CE GROUP will, at its option, during
the specified Coverage Periods for Parts and Labor (as applicable) either: (i) repair the Product
(or, as applicable, any component thereof) or (ii) replace the Product (or, as applicable, any
component thereof) with a new or refurbished Product (or, as applicable, any component
thereof), in either case free of charge to Customer for Parts and/or Labor (as applicable) during
the specified Coverage Period only, and excluding applicable shipping charges (noted below),
for which the Customer is responsible. The foregoing states the Customer’s exclusive remedy
and SUMMIT CE GROUP’s sole liability for breach of the limited warranty contained herein.
This Warranty specifically excludes any Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) that
has been subject to or Defects resulting from: (a) any neglect or misuse by a Customer, an
accident, improper application, violation of operating instructions for the Product, any other
Customer-induced damage, or the alteration or removal of any Product serial number; (b) any
modification or repair to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) by any party other
than SUMMIT CE GROUP or a party authorized in writing by SUMMIT CE GROUP; (c) any
damage to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) due to power surges, incorrect
electrical voltage, misconnection to any device, or malfunction of any device used with the
Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof); (d) cosmetic damage to the Product (or, as
applicable, any component thereof) caused by normal wear and tear; (e) shipping damage that
occurs while the Product is in transit; (f) damage caused by heat sources, sunlight,
electromagnetic conditions, or other climatic conditions; or (g) any acts of God. Product is sold to
Customer for personal, non-commercial use only. Product is not warranted for Cus-tomer’s
commercial or rental use. In addition, Product is not warranted against failure, and should not be
used by Customer for any ap-plication where (i) there is a risk that any data stored on Product
will be breached or otherwise com-promised, or (ii) the data stored on Product is relied upon for
medical or lifesaving applications. SUMMIT CE GROUP disclaims any Warranty for any of the
foregoing uses to the fullest extent permitted by law. Customer assumes any and all risks
associated with such uses of Product, and agrees to indemnify SUMMIT CE GROUP for any
damages claimed against SUMMIT CE GROUP for such uses. EXCEPT FOR EXPRESS
WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW,
THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, AND SUMMIT CE GROUP DISCLAIMS ALL

LIMITED TO THE CUMULATIVE PRODUCT FEES PAID BY THAT CUSTOMER FOR THE
PRODUCT CAUSING THE DAMAGES, IF ANY. This Warranty gives Customer specific rights,
and Customer may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. To obtain
Warranty service, Customer must email SUMMIT CE GROUP Technical Support prior to making
a Product return. Customer must include with Product return the following items (failure to
enclose any of these items may result in a delay in the processing of your Warranty claim): (i) a
dated sales receipt that indicates the place of purchase, model number of Product, and amount
paid; (ii) a detailed description of Customer’s problem with Product; (iii) Customer’s full name,
phone number, and return address, and; (iv) a money order made out to SUMMIT CE GROUP
Electronics Corporation to cover return shipping charges to US destinations only, for the
applicable dollar amount shown for the Product in the table above. SUMMIT CE GROUP will not
make return shipments to a P.O. Box. For shipping to international addresses, actual freight will
be charged to Customer. Return your Product freight-prepaid in its original packaging, or
packaging that affords an equal measure of protection. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for the
processing of your claim (6 to 8 weeks from November to February).

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PRODUCTO

CONFIGURACIÓN DEL CDC-560

ENCENDIDO/APAGADO
Cuando se enchufa a su automóvil, el CDC-560 se encenderá
automáticamente cuando se encienda el automóvil y se apagará
automáticamente cuando se apague el automóvil. Para encender /
apagar manualmente la dashcam, presione y mantenga
presionado el botón "Encendido". Nota: El CDC-560 viene con una
batería incorporada que contiene suficiente energía para guardar
cualquier grabación en curso. Como resultado, la dashcam
permanecerá encendida durante unos segundos adicionales
después de que el automóvil se haya apagado.
GRABACIÓN
El CDC-560 ingresará automáticamente al modo de grabación y

MODO AUDIO
El modo de audio le permite tomar grabaciones de solo audio de lo
que sucede a su alrededor. Para ingresar al modo de audio,
presione el botón "Modo" dos veces mientras está en modo de
grabación. Mientras está en modo de audio, presione el botón
"Aceptar" para iniciar / detener la grabación de audio.
MODO DE REPRODUCCIÓN
El modo de reproducción le permite ver y administrar los videos y
fotos almacenados en la tarjeta micro SD. Para ingresar al modo de
reproducción, presione el botón "Modo" tres veces mientras está en
modo de grabación. Ahora puede reproducir / pausar archivos de
video mientras está en este modo presionando el botón "Ok".
Mientras está en el modo de reproducción, también puede
seleccionar entre eliminar, bloquear y desbloquear cualquier archivo
presionando el botón "menú". Esto se discute más en la sección
MENÚ REPRODUCCIÓN a continuación.

Nota: La detección de movimiento enciende automáticamente
la cámara y comienza a grabar cuando se detecta movimiento

•Video Time: La función Video Time cambia la duración de los
videoclips grabados por el dashcam.
Elija entre Desactivado (un archivo continuo), 1 minuto, 3
minutos o 5 minutos.
•Grabación De Voz: Grabe todos los videos con o sin audio
activando / desactivando esta función.
MENÚ CÁMARA
•Tamaño: Elija entre 3M, 2M, 1.3M o VGA para el tamaño de
los archivos de imagen tomados mientras está en Modo
cámara.
MENÚ REPRODUCCIÓN
•Eliminar: Esta función elimina videos e imágenes de la tarjeta
micro SD. Puede elegir borrar el archivo seleccionado
actualmente con la opción 'Eliminar uno' o borrar todos los
archivos guardados con la opción 'Eliminar todo'.
•Bloquear/Desbloquear: bloquear un clip significa que no se
eliminará a medida que la cámara sobrescriba archivos para
grabar continuamente. Puede elegir Bloquear un archivo,
Bloquear todos los archivos, Desbloquear un archivo o
Desbloquear todos los archivos.
•Miniatura: para ver las miniaturas de todos los archivos en la
tarjeta micro SD en el modo Vista previa, seleccione Ejecutar
en la función Miniatura.
•Volumen: ajuste el volumen de reproducción y las funciones
de los botones, de 0 (silencio) a 6 (más alto).

Menú para ingresar al Menú Configuración.
•Restablecimiento Del Sistema: Esta opción restablece el
CDC-560 a la configuración de fábrica. Esto también
restablecerá todas las opciones personalizadas en los menús

MODO USB
Puede conectar el CDC-560 a una computadora mediante un

este documento, SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC (en lo sucesivo, "SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC")
garantiza al comprador original del Producto ("Cliente") que para el Período de garantía aplicable que se
indica a continuación, El Producto estará libre de defectos en el material o en la mano de obra en el uso
normal, no comercial ("Defectos"). El período de garantía abarca, como se indica a continuación,
“Períodos de cobertura” separados para piezas y mano de obra, cada período de cobertura durante un
año, a partir de la fecha original de compra del Cliente. Si el Cliente devuelve un Producto defectuoso (o
cualquiera de sus componentes) durante el Período de garantía aplicable, SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC,
a su discreción, durante los Períodos de cobertura especificados para piezas y mano de obra (según
corresponda): (i) reparará el Producto (o, según corresponda, cualquier componente del mismo) o (ii)
reemplazar el Producto (o, según corresponda, cualquier componente del mismo) con un Producto nuevo
orestaurado (o, según corresponda, cualquier componente del mismo), en cualquiera de los dos casos sin
cargo para el Cliente por piezas y / o mano de obra (según corresponda) solo durante el Período de
cobertura especificado, y excluyendo los cargos de envío aplicables (indicados a continuación), para los
cuales El cliente es responsable. Lo anterior establece la exclusiva del Cliente. Remedy y la
responsabilidad exclusiva de SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC por el incumplimiento de la garantía limitada
contenida en este documento.
Esta garantía excluye específicamente cualquier producto (o, según corresponda, cualquier componente
del mismo) que ha estado sujeto a o Defectos resultantes de: (a) cualquier negligencia o mal uso por
parte de un Cliente, un accidente, una aplicación inadecuada, una violación de las instrucciones de
funcionamiento del Producto, cualquier otro daño provocado por el Cliente, o la alteración o eliminación de
cualquier número de serie del Producto: (b) cualquier modificación o reparación al Producto (o, según
corresponda, cualquier componente del mismo) por cualquier parte aparte de SUMMIT ELECTRONICS
LLC o una parte autorizada por escrito por SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC; (c) cualquier daño al Producto
(o, según corresponda, cualquier componente del mismo) debido a sobretensiones, voltaje eléctrico
incorrecto, conexión incorrecta a cualquier dispositivo o mal funcionamiento de cualquier dispositivo
utilizado con el Producto (o, según corresponda, cualquier componente del mismo); (d) daño cosmético al
Producto (o, según corresponda, a cualquier componente del mismo) causado por el desgaste normal; (e)
daño de envío que ocurre mientras el Producto está en tránsito; (f) daños causados por fuentes de calor,
luz solar, condiciones electromagnéticas u otras condiciones climáticas; o (g) cualquier acto de Dios. El
producto se vende al Cliente solo para uso personal y no comercial. El producto no está garantizado para
uso comercial o de alquiler del Cliente. Además, el Producto no está garantizado contra fallas y no debe
ser utilizado por el Cliente para ninguna aplicación en la que (i) exista el riesgo de que los datos
almacenados en El producto será violado o comprometido de otra manera, o (ii) se confía en los datos
almacenados en el producto para aplicaciones médicas o de salvamento. SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC
niega cualquier garantía para cualquiera de los usos anteriores en la medida máxima permitida por la ley.
El cliente asume todos los riesgos asociado con dichos usos del Producto, y acuerda indemnizar a
SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC por los daños reclamados contra SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC por dichos
usos. EXCEPTO POR GARANTÍAS EXPRESAS INDICADAS ANTERIORMENTE Y EN LA MEDIDA
MÁXIMA PERMITIDA POR LA LEY, LOS PRODUCTOS SE PROPORCIONAN "TAL CUAL", Y SUMMIT
ELECTRONICS LLC RECHAZA TODAS LAS OTRAS GARANTÍAS, INCLUYENDO SIN LIMITACIÓN
CUALQUIER GARANTÍA IMPLÍCITA (I) DE COMERCIABILIDAD, (II) DE APTITUD PARA UN
PROPÓSITO PARTICULAR, O (III) DE LA NO INFRACCIÓN DE LOS DERECHOS DE TERCEROS.
ALMEDIDA MÁXIMA PERMITIDA POR LA LEY APLICABLE, EN NINGÚN CASO CUMPLIRÁ

POR CUALQUIER DAÑO INDIRECTO, ESPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSECUENTE, EJEMPLO O
PUNITIVO, INCLUYENDO, SIN LIMITACIÓN, CUALQUIER PÉRDIDA DE BENEFICIOS O
RENDIMIENTOS O PÉRDIDAS O INACUNICACIÓN DATOS O COSTO DE BIENES SUSTITUTOS,
SIN IMPORTAR LA TEORÍA DE RESPONSABILIDAD (INCLUIDA LA NEGLIGENCIA) Y AÚN SI
SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC SE HA AVANZADO DE LA POSIBILIDAD DE DICHOS DAÑOS, SUMMIT
ELECTRONICS LLC AGREGARÁ LA RESPONSABILIDAD AL CLIENTE POR DAÑOS DIRECTOS
REALES POR CUALQUIER CAUSA DE LO CUAL ESTAR LIMITADO A LAS CUOTAS ACUMULADAS
DEL PRODUCTO PAGADAS POR ELLO CLIENTE PARA EL PRODUCTO QUE CAUSA LOS DAÑOS,
SI CUALQUIER. Esta Garantía otorga derechos específicos al Cliente, y el Cliente también puede tener
otros Derechos que varían de jurisdicción a jurisdicción. Para obtener el servicio de garantía,El cliente
debe enviar un correo electrónico al Soporte Técnico de SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC antes de realizar
una devolución del Producto. El cliente debe incluir con la devolución del producto los siguientes
artículos (el hecho de no incluir ninguno de estos elementos puede ocasionar un retraso en el
procesamiento de su reclamo de garantía): (i) un recibo de venta con fecha que indique el lugar de
compra, número de modelo del producto y monto pagado; (ii) una descripción detallada del problema
del cliente con el producto; (iii) Nombre completo del cliente, número de teléfono, y dirección de retorno,
y; (iv) un giro postal a nombre de SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC Electronics Corporation para cubrir los
gastos de envío de devolución a los destinos de EE. UU. Solo, por el monto en dólares aplicable que se
muestra para el Producto en la tabla anterior. SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC no realizará envíos de
devolución a un P.O. Caja. Para el envío a direcciones internacionales, el flete real se cobrará al
