Cardinal Health NPWT PRO User manual

Insert Canister
Insert canister in holder by sliding it up into bottom back side of device. Line up the two
short ports with the receptacle and press untilit“clicks”into place and locks.To remove
canister, press canister release button located above canister viewing window, grasp
canister at bottom and pull downward.
Connect the Dressing
Connect the blue end of the SpeedConnect™ tubing to the open port of the canister.
Gently twist and push connector on just enough to seal it. Make sure that the clampon
the SpeedConnect™ tubing is open. NOTE: Please refer to the Cardinal Health™ NPWT PRO /
PRO to GO Clinician User Manual for instructions on how to properly dress the wound and
troubleshoot issues.
Turning the Device ON
Press the ON button to start therapy. Select desired Pressure Setting by pressing the
UP or DOWN
Therapy Lockout
To lock therapy setting, press andhold the ON button for three seconds.The device will
beep three times indicating therapy setting is locked. Repeat process to unlock therapy setting.

Intermittent (Variable) Mode
To operate the device in intermittent mode, press the INTERMITTENT MODE button.
An amber light will indicate the device is operating in intermittent mode. Repeat process
to return to continuousmode.
Adjust Alarm Volume
Volume may be adjusted by pressing and holding the ON button and tapping the
UP or DOWN arrow button. The numbers 1-5 will appear in the display. 1 is the
lowest, 5 is the highest volume level.
Troubleshooting Alarms
If the device begins to alarm, refer to the troubleshooting table on the back to identify and
correct the alarm condition.
