Thank you for purchasing your new CHAD-O-CHEF Boma Rotisserie
Kit manufactured to the highest standards. This accessory combined
with the Boma Braai is designed to give users years of trouble free
and ecient service. Please read the following instructions carefully.
The manufacturer and /or its agents and distributors will not be held
responsible for injuries or damages caused by faulty or incorrect
installation or use of the appliance.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the M6x20 studs from the 2 sides of the Boma Braai, where you will
install the Rotisserie Kit.
2. Line up the Rotisserie Stands above the holes where you have removed the
M6x20 studs.

3. Fasten the Rotisserie Stands tightly by reinserting the M6x20 studs & wing nuts
provided. Ensure the wing nuts are tightened onto the studs and the stands have
no play when applying sideways pressure to the stands.
4. Hook the motor bracket on, by lining it up to the keyhole slots in the motor
bracket. You can choose either side to hang the motor bracket, depending on
which side you prefer your motor to sit.
5. Secure the 1st Rotisserie Skewer in position tightly on the Rotisserie Rod.
Pierce your cut of meat onto the Rotisserie Rod and slide it down onto the 1st
Rotisserie Skewer before positioning the 2nd Skewer tightly in place, piercing the
opposite side of the meat.
6. Loosen the wingnut on the bush and drop into the grove, ensuring that the
Rotisserie rod end is rmly seated into the Motor bush before tightening the Rod
bush Wingnut again.
7. Ensure that the handle is tightened onto the Rotisserie Rod rmly.
8. Connect the Motor plug to an electrical source and turn on.

USING & CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
•For Best results ensure that the Boma Braai installed on a perfectly level
serface, as this ensures correct run-o of excess fats during cooking.
(Heated fats will always run toward the lowest edge)
•Before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance work on the Boma Braai,
ensure that it has had time to cool down to a safe temperature.
•Remove the whole Rotisserie Kit, including the Rotisserie Stands, clean, and
keep in a dry place once done cooking.
•Cover your Boma up with the Stainless Steel Lid once cleaning and oiling is
complete to preserve it further.
•It is highly recommended that you check the cooking surface for oxidation
often, and apply regular maintenance, to prolong the lifespan of your
beloved Boma Braai.
•Avoid contact with aggressive chemicals.
•Don’t Use oven cleaners.
•Don’t store any chemicals (especially pool chemicals) close to your braai.
•Do not use any abrasive scourers on the Stainless Steel Rotisserie Kit.
