•Use trade tools (e.g. hack saw) to create perpendicular, clean cut.
•Debur cut end so that damage to the gasket is avoided.
•Remove debris from inside of the pipe prior to assembly.

•InnoFlue® components are factory labeled displaying a flow arrow.
This arrowrepresents exhaust flowand must point towards the
termination (away from the appliance).
•Each female-end of every InnoFlue® vent length or component
features a factory installed gasket. Before assembly, make sure
gaskets are in place correctly.
•For Horizontal sections measure the depth of the female socket.
Mark the male-end of each component 1/4” less than the depth of
the female socketfrom its end.
•Place a thin layer of Centrocerin, a water-based lubricant, onto the
male end of component 2 for ease of assembly.
oNote:Water can be used as a lubricant.
•Push and twist male end until properly seated in component 1,
aligning the mark with the top of the female end.

When installing your Cinderella Comfort toilet, it will be necessary to use the specially adapted “Installation kit electric”.
This is a complete installation package developed in collaboration with Centrotherm. This set contains 110mm pipe and
elbow that ts directly on your toilet, it also comes with pipe clamps and wall mounts for easy securing of the
ventilation pipe.

POWER CONVERTERS: Power converters are not recommended for use with your Cinderella product. Cinderella Comfort
has a maximum power consumption level of 2000W, which may be sustained over periods exceeding an hour at a time.
Power converters with a “peak consumption” level of 2000W may be unable to maintain this power output and become
overloaded, damaged or unsafe if used with your Cinderella Comfort. BATTERIES, GENERATORS and SOLAR PANELS are
not sucient as a power source for Cinderella Comfort.
All safety instructions in this manual are marked with this symbol. Please be sure to pay close attention to all
instructions given in this manual, especially when you see this symbol. In the event of a problem, please refer to the
appliance data plate on the back of the toilet.
Read this entire installation manual prior to installation. The homeowner should keep this installation manual for
future references. Visit www.cinderellaeco.com/installation for detailed step-by-step animations for the installation of
your new toilet. It can be a good idea to look at these animations prior to installing your new Cinderella Comfort toilet.
They can be a useful tool in addition to this manual.
Cinderella Comfort has a power consumption level of approximately 2000W while incinerating, which may be
sustained over periods exceeding an hour at a time. Make sure that your electrician takes this electrical load into
consideration.
This appliance must be installed in accordance with National Electrical Codes, as well as all state, municipal and local
codes. The correct voltage, frequency and amperage must be supplied to the appliance from a dedicated, grounded
circuit which is protected by a properly sized circuit breaker. The proper voltage, frequency and amperage are listed in
this manual and on the product rating plate on the back of the toilet.
The toilet is delivered with a 15 amp NEMA 6-15 plug and chord. To supply sucient power to the unit as delivered, it will
require a Nema 6-15R receptacle on a dedicated grounded circuit, with at least 10 amps of available power at 230 V AC. If
you do not have the appropriate receptacle available, please contact a licensed electrician to assist with your installation.

INSTALLING THE VENTILATION PIPES
It is recommended to install the outlet pipe vertically above the roof without any additional bends. Incorrect installation
may cause poor incineration, odor and wear of the product. For detailed instructions on how to install the outlet pipe,
please thoroughly read the section “specication for venting the Cinderella Comfort toilet ”.
SELECTING THE TOILET LOCATION
While planning to place the toilet, it is often useful to consider the free space around the toilet. Make sure to have enough
space to both operate the toilet and sit comfortably. Ensure that the desired position of the toilet will not conict with any
other existing installation such as water pipes, ventilation pipes, electrical installations etc. The
Cinderella Comfort is designed to operate on 240V AC with a minimum of 10 amps available. Make sure that you have
enough electricity available and the intended receptacle is within range of where you plan to install the toilet.
Upon installation of the appliance, the technical and administrative regulations of the country in which the toilet is
installed must be adhered to. We recommend that you contact your local dealer for planning and installing your
Cinderella toilet. Cinderella Comfort is approved for use in bathrooms/wet rooms (IP 34 classied), but water must not
be splashed over the external parts of the toilet. For more information about rules for installations in wet rooms, please
consult a plumber. The toilet must be placed on a rm and level base and your Cinderella Comfort may be installed on a
heated oor.
Proper installation is essential to achieve the good functionality and incineration eciency required for proper waste
handling. It is important that the appliance is installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s specications, and that
ventilation pipes and installation materials as instructed in this manual are used.
Installation and use of materials that deviate from specications as instructed in this manual may cause damage to the
product and immediate environment and will void the warranty.
When installing your Cinderella Comfort toilet, you must use the installation kit as designed by the manufacturer
specically intended for the installation of this toilet. The set contains the parts necessary for an optimal installation
of your toilet. For more information on this installation kit, please contact your dealer or visit our website for more
information.

When planning the toilet location, it is important to consider possible elements
to be hidden in the wall, it is important that you nd a suitable location for the
toilet before you start the installation.

PLANNING YOUR VENTILATION
BEFORE INSTALLATION
If the toilet is to be used continuously during very low ambient temperatures, insulation is recommended, as this will
restrict the accumulation of condensation on your appliance.
Cinderella has invented a specially designed insulation kit that gives you an added advantage when installed in cold
environments. This kit is specially designed for the Cinderella Incineration Toilet and adds a layer of insulation inside
the toilet shell which restricts the accumulation of water and ice on your appliance. This eliminates wear on your
product and its interior.
Ask your dealer for a quote to prepare the toilet with this kit before installation.

• If the pipe perforates the roof surface, ensure that it is in compliance with building regulations.
• Never use a mesh net in the ventilation pipe as this might restrict the airow in the system.
• Never use exible ducts or pipes.
• Never connect more than one appliance to the vent.
• The T-piece must be accessible when installed, so that the drainage pipe can be rinsed, and the outlet pipe
cleaned.

If you need to have bends in the outlet air pipe in order to pass around a window or an overhanging roof, the following
specications apply:
• When installing the outlet with bends, the maximum length is reduced to 15 ft (4.5 meters)
• When using 30° bends the total length of the angled section must not exceed 5 ft. (1.5 m).
• When using 45° bends the total length of the angled section must not exceed 3 ft. 4 in. (1.0 m).
• The pipe must always be installed vertically above the roof and extend at least 2 ft (600 mm) above the roof
surface. If the outlet air pipe is to be enclosed (e.g. using metal siding), make sure that the end of the pipe extends
at least 15 3⁄4in. (400 mm) above the enclosure.
• The supplied ventilator cowl must always be used.
• The venting pipe must have a minimum diameter of 4 5⁄16 in (110 mm)
• The inside of the ventilation pipe must be smooth and not embossed or grooved.
• The pipe material must be specied for temperatures over 194°F (90° C) and preferably of a PP- or CPVC- type.
• Do not use any exible ducts or pipes when installing the Cinderella toilet.

Before cutting any holes, always check that you will not hit any electrical wiring or water pipes. Failure to follow safety
precautions may cause serious injury or death.
INSTALLING THE VENTILATION PIPE THROUGH AN EXTERIOR WALL
• In the center line of the Cinderella’s chosen position, make a mark on the wall for the outlet air pipe 16 5⁄16 in.
(415 mm) from the oor.
• Drill a pilot hole with a long drill bit through the wall. Make sure you are holding the drill perpendicular to the oor.
• With the use of a 4 3⁄8in. (111 mm) diameter hole saw, use the pilot hole as guidance and drill a hole from both the
interior and exterior side of the wall.
• Make a mark 13 25⁄32 in (35 mm) from the beveled end of the pipe to indicate the part going into the toilet mu.
• Install the horizontal pipe through the wall with the desired interior pipe length.
• Adjust the length of the horizontal pipe on the exterior side according to where you want to install the vertical
pipe. Please notice that you will have to take into account the total depth of the t-bend and that the pipe will enter
19 11⁄16 in (50mm) into the t-bend.
• Lubricate the mu of the T-piece and slide it onto the pipe protruding from the toilet
• Mount the vertical pipe and x it to the wall with wall brackets.
• Mount the ventilator cowl on top of the pipe.

1. Make a mark 35 mm from the beveled end of the pipe to indicate the part that is going into the toilet mu.
2. Lubricate the end with dish washing detergent or a similar substance
3. Press the pipe into the toilet mu, then attach the T-piece.
4. Place the toilet in the intended position.
5. Use a plumb line to mark the center of the T-piece on the ceiling.
6. Drill a pilot hole with a long drill bit through both the ceiling and roof.
7. With the use of a 4 3⁄8 in. (111 mm) diameter hole saw, use the pilot hole as guidance and drill a hole from both the
interior and exterior side of the wall.
8. Ensure that the pipe is properly fed through the ceiling/roof. The pipe must be installed vertically above the roof
and extend at least 2 ft. (600 mm) above the roof surface.

INSTALLING VENTING PIPE INDOOR THROUGH THE CEILING
• Make sure that the pipe is fed through the roof in compliance with building regulations. If you are unsure, contact
a qualied tradesman.
• When installing the ventilation pipes inside you will have to connect the drain pipe on the T-piece to
prevent condensation and rainwater to drain onto the oor. Failure to collect the water may result in the oor
being damaged.
• For the Cinderella toilet to be placed close to the wall you need to cut o a piece of the included long pipe to a
minimum length of 3 in. (80mm). Always make sure to preserve one of the beveled pipe ends, to be used when
connecting the toilet to the pipe.
• The toilet should be placed a minimum of 9 in. (230mm) from the wall, to make room for the T-piece.

When installing the toilet with direct ventilation into the system, you avoid conicts with other air-dependent
installations, and ensure that the toilet always receives sucient air for optimal functionality.
It is important to ensure that the toilet has enough access to fresh air, and we therefore always recommend
installing Cinderella Comfort with designated inlet air connection. The supplied air is essential for cooling, air
ow and the supply of oxygen to the incineration. If the toilet has restricted access to air / oxygen, you will
experience poor incineration, reduced eciency and possibly overheating of the appliance. Poor incineration
over time will wear on the product and void your warranty.

WARNING!
1. Draw a mark in the Cinderella’s center line, 6 in. (155 mm) from the oor.
2. Drill a hole using a long drill bit through the interior and exterior wall in the center of where you will drill your 4 5 ⁄ 16
in. (110 mm) hole. Make sure you are holding the drill at a 90° angle to the wall. Then expand the hole using a 4 3 ⁄ 8
in. (111 mm) hole saw.
3. Install the supplied short vent pipes with the beveled end towards the toilet. Make a mark about 1 9 ⁄ 16 in. (40 mm)
from the end of the pipe so you know how far to push the pipe into the toilet.
4. After determining the correct length and location of the inlet air pipe, cut the pipe on the outside. NOTE: Cut the
pipe ush with the exterior wall. The inlet air pipe should be sealed with a suitable sealant, such as silicone,
Sikaex, etc. (Always consult a professional tradesman to ensure installation in compliance with local building
codes and regulations).
5. Install the supplied weather cap on the exterior to cover the inlet air pipe. The weather cap must be installed so
that it overlaps the pipe by 3⁄16 to 3⁄8 in. (10-15 mm), if the cover is mounted too far down this will reduce the ow
area and restrict the air supply.

• It is not recommended to install the Cinderella Comfort toilet without using the inlet air pipes. Using air from the
toilet room will require a wall vent in accordance to the specications in this manual, and there cannot be other air
dependent installations in the same environment e.g. extraction fan, re place.
• If an adjustable vent has been installed in the wall, the vent must always be open while the toilet fan is running. No
obstacles (foam rubber etc.) hindering the free ow of air must be placed in the vent.
• The air inlet vent should be installed as close to the toilet as possible.
• The vent must be a properly dimensioned intake air vent with at least 6 5/16in. (160 mm) diameter/ 31 square
inches (201 cm2) ow area.
• The vent must be open at all times. Remember to clean the vent at regular intervals.
• It is important to ensure that there is no conict between the requirement for air supply to the toilet and the
requirements of any other installations, such as a replace or kitchen fan.
• The use of open windows/doors is not a good solution because these openings will be opened and closed due to
other requirements.
• Do not use a separate ventilation fan to extract air from the room where the toilet is installed.

The ash container is equipped with a safety strap which must be removed before use as follows:
1. Remove the front cover.
2. Cut away the plastic straps attaching the ash container to the steel frame.
3. Remove the plastic straps.
• Lift the lid and seat – Red light should be lit and the fan starting to blow.
• Simply insert an Original Cinderella Bowl Liner into the toilet.
• Add water 5 cup (1.2 liters) and toilet paper 39 3/8 in (1 meter)
• Close the lid and push the start button – The yellow light should be lit. This indicates that the incineration cycle has
been activated).
• The incineration cycle should take from 60–70 minutes before it starts to cool down.
• Wait until the toilet has cooled down and the fan has stopped (this can take up to 60–90 minutes), check the result
in the ash container. You should only see white dust and NO paper scraps.
• If the toilet failed to pass the performance test, please check that all the installation parameters are in
accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

The most important thing when verifying the installation is to check that your installation complies with the
specications in this manual, you can also conduct a simple performance test to ensure the system is functioning
properly.

REGULAR MAINTENANCE
Failure to perform proper maintenance as described in the manual will void warranty.
NOTICE!
In order to ensure optimal operation and extend the lifetime of your Cinderella Comfort, you will need to set aside
a little time for preventative maintenance. Good maintenance routines will give you lower operating costs and cause
less wear on the product.
Recommended frequency: Weekly
1–6 steps as written:
1. Make sure that the toilet is cold and in standby mode.
2. Remove the front cover and rotate the ash container until the handle is pointing straight towards you.
3. The flashing red and yellow lights indicate that the ash container is out of position.
4. The display will read “Ash container out of position”.
5. Remove the insert (the innermost bowl) and dispose the ash. Pour hot water into the insert and leave it for about
15-30 minutes, before cleaning with a brush (do not use any sharp tools).
6. Put the insert back into the ash container and place the container back into the toilet by rotating the handle to
the left, until it stops. The red and yellow lights will turn off. The display reads “Ready for use” when the container
is in the correct position. Place the front cover back on toilet.
EMPTYING THE ASH CONTAINER

WARNING!
Removing the ash container while hot may cause burn injuries.
It’s recommended to always perform the steam cleaning as described on page 16, when the toilet is emptied and
insert properly cleaned. This will improve the incineration efficiency and reduce the wear of critical components.

Recommended frequency: As required for cleanliness and when emptying the ash container.
1–4 steps as written:
1. Open the toilet lid.
2. Press and hold the Start button for three seconds to open the hatch to the washing position.
3. Use moist paper, water and a mild cleaning agent as required.
4. Close the lid and start the incineration
CLEANING THE BOWL
Do not use chlorine-based cleaning agents to clean the bowl. Chlorine is extremely harmful for the catalyst, and if put
into the toilet it may cause the catalyst to malfunction.

STEAM CLEANING
Recommended frequency: After every one hundred uses or when emptying the ash container
1–5 steps as written:
1. Ensure that the toilet is cold and the ash container has been emptied and cleaned.
2. Remove the front cover and release the ash container
3. Pour approximately 1/4 gallon (1 liter) of clean water into the toilet insert
4. Insert the ash container carefully so that you don’t spill out the water
5. Press Start to begin an incineration cycle. The water will start to boil and the steam will clean the exhaust system.
Do not use the toilet while steam cleaning the system, this
will prevent the effect of steam cleaning. The toilet is ready
to use when the toilet returns to standby mode.

Disassembly:
1. Disconnect the mains power supply
2. Pull the toilet away from the ventilation pipe and unscrew the rear panel with a Torx Size T10 screwdriver and
open the cover
3. Disconnect the earth lead removing it from its clip on the circuit board
4. Disconnect both power leads from the battery
5. Loosen the battery hose clip with the help of screw driver or a 7 mm wrench
6. Lift the battery upwards to remove it
REPLACING THE BACKUP BATTERY
Assembly:
1. Place the new battery in position.
2. Tighten the battery hose clip and reconnect the power leads.
(NOTE: Make sure to connect the leads correctly. I.e. Red to red, black to black.)
3. Reconnect the earth lead to the circuit board and ensure the slot in the panel is located over the rubber seal on
the power cord
4. Re-attach the rear panel using the rubber seal.
5. Replace the screws and check that the fan pipe is in the center of the ventilation hole in the rear panel before
tightening them
6. Slide the toilet back onto the ventilation pipe. Reconnect the power plug and check that the power supply light is

FieldCuttingRigidVent Lengths
•Use trade tools (e.g. hack saw) to create perpendicular, clean cut.
•Debur cut end so that damage to the gasket is avoided.
•Remove debris from inside of the pipe prior to assembly.
JointConnections
•InnoFlue® components are factory labeled displaying a flow arrow.
This arrowrepresents exhaust flowand must point towards the
termination (away from the appliance).
•Each female-end of every InnoFlue® vent length or component
features a factory installed gasket. Before assembly, make sure
gaskets are in place correctly.
•For Horizontal sections measure the depth of the female socket.
Mark the male-end of each component 1/4” less than the depth of
the female socketfrom its end.
•Place a thin layer of Centrocerin, a water-based lubricant, onto the
male end of component 2 for ease of assembly.
oNote:Water can be used as a lubricant.
•Push and twist male end until properly seated in component 1,
aligning the mark with the top of the female end.

spécialement adapté. Il s’agit d’un package d’installation complet développé en collaboration avec Centrotherm. Cet
ensemble contient un tuyau et un coude de 110 mm qui s’adapte directement sur votre toilette, il est également livré
avec des colliers de serrage et des supports muraux pour une xation facile du tuyau de ventilation.

d’une heure à la fois. Un convertisseur acceptant des pics de puissance de 2 000 W risque de ne pas tolérer une telle
puissance en continu et d’être surchargé, endommagé ou peu sûr si vous l’utilisez avec votre Cinderella Comfort.
LES BATTERIES, PETITS GENERATEURS et PANNEAUX SOLAIRES ne sont pas des sources d’énergie susantes pour la
Cinderella Comfort.
• Si vous prévoyez d’utiliser la toilette de façon continue à des températures ambiantes très basses, il est
recommandé de l’isoler, veuillez vous référer à la section « Trousse d’isolation arctique » à la page 22.
• Pour l’installation de la Cinderella Comfort, la distance minimale par rapport à des matériaux combustibles
doit être de:

La Cinderella Comfort a une consommation électrique de 2 000 W, pouvant être continuelle pendant plus d’une heure
à la fois. L’électricien chargé de l’installation doit prendre en compte cette charge électrique.
Cet appareil doit être installé conformément aux codes électriques nationaux, provinciaux, municipaux et locaux. La
tension, la fréquence et l’intensité correctes doivent être fournies à l’appareil à partir d’un circuit séparé, mis à la terre
et protégé par un disjoncteur de la puissance appropriée. La tension, la fréquence et l’intensité appropriées sont
