
Basic phone features
To place a call:
• Li t the handset and dial the number. You must dial an ‘8’ to get an outside line.
• Press the line button or the desired extension, then dial the number.
• Press the Speaker button, then dial the number.
• Press the NewCall so t key, then dial the number.
• I you are using a headset, press the Headset button, then dial the number.
• I you have established Speed Dial numbers, press the desired Speed Dial button.
• I you have selected a number rom the Company Directory, press the Dial so t key.
To answer a call:
• Li t the handset. I necessary, press the line button o the incoming call.
• I you are using a headset, press the Headset button. I necessary, press the line button o the incoming call.
• To use the speakerphone, press the Speaker button or the Answer so t key.
To end a call:
• Hang up the handset.
• I you are using a headset, press the Headset button or the EndCall so t key.
• I you are using the speakerphone, press the Speaker button or the EndCall so tkey.
To redial a number:
• To redial the most recently dialed number, press the Redial so t key.
To put a call on hold:
• Press the Hold so t key.
• To return to the call, press the Resume so t key.
• I multiple calls are on hold, use the Navigation button to select the desired call be ore you press the Resume so t
key.
• I multiple calls on multiple lines are on hold, press the line button or the line to which you want to switch and use
the Navigation button to select the desired call. Press the Resume so t key.
• NOTE: Because engaging the Hold eature generates music or a beeping tone, try to avoid placing a con erence call
on hold.
To trans er a call:
• During a call, press the Trns er so t key. This puts the call on hold.
• Dial the number to which you want to trans er the call. As soon as you hear a ringback tone, or a ter the party
answers, press the Trns er so t key again.
• NOTE: I the trans er ails, press the Resume so t key to return to the original call.
To orward all calls to another number:
• Press the CFwdAll so t key. You will hear two beeps.
• Enter the number to which you want to orward all o your calls. Enter the number exactly as i you were placing a
call to that number. An animated phone icon will lash in the upper-right corner o the phone’s LCD screen.
• You will hear one beep and a “Forwarded to” message with the number will appear.
• To remove call orwarding, press the CFwdAll so t key once. You will hear one beep and the “Forwarded to”
message will disappear rom the LCD screen.
To Mute a call:
• Press the Mute button on your phone.
• To disengage Mute, press the Mute button again or change rom speakerphone to handset or vice versa.
