1. When the interior of the boat is extremely cold and the player
is
used soon after switching
on the heater, moisture may form
on
the internal circuitry of the player and proper playback
may not be possible. If moisture forms inside of the player, do not use the player for about
one hour. The condensation will disappear naturally allowing normal operation.
2. This unit uses precision parts and components for its operation.
In
the event of any operating
issues, never open the case, disassemble the unit, or lubricate the rotating parts. Contact
your Clarion dealer or service center.

Rotate the [VOLUME] knob on the front panel to increase

be heard.
Display System Information
Press the [DISP] button on the front panel to switch the display inforation, System
time and playing source.
Display OFF/ON
This feature will allow the user to turn the display OFF
in
the event the display is
too bright in different lighting conditions.
To use this feature, please follow these steps:
1.
To turn the display OFF, press and hold the [MUTE] button and the display will
turn OFF, but the audio from the current source will continue to play.
2.
To turn the display ON, press any button and the display will turn back ON.

Selecting Tuner Mode

During manual tuning, the frequency will

Saving
a
Preset Station
When deciding to save a radio station, press
and hold
an
available preset 1

station to memory.
Recalling a Stored Preset Station

the front panel to select the
corresponding stored station.
Auto Store
The unit stores the strongest stations found
as presets.
Short Press the [MENU] button and select
Auto Store by pressing the ENTERNolume
button to start automatic station search.
To stop auto store, press otherbuttons having
radio functions.
NOTE:
After auto
store,
the
previous stored preset
stations
will
be
overwritten.

NOTE:
USB devices containing a large amount of
audio files can take several moments to
begin the search and increase the delay
between tracks. Additionally, some errors

Connecting to your device
iPod/iPhone
Connect
an iPod

to the USB
connector
via
accessory
cable
for
iPodl
iPhone.
When connecting a device, the unit will read
the files automatically. The track information
displays
on
the screen once playback starts.
Bluetooth Operations

menu.

Search for new Bluetooth devices.

on mobile device" is displayed, launch the

Displaying the Radio ID
Before you listen to satellite radio,
you
must
subscribe to the service using the SiriusXM
Radio
ID
number.
1.
Press
the

enter
SirusXM mode.

and
select channel "0". The Unit displays the
Radio
ID.
NOTE:

The
Radio ID is
also
located on the
bottom of the SiriusXM Connect Vehicle
Tuner.

Please note that the SiriusXM Radio

does not include the letters

Channel Tune

Storing Channel Presets

desired band you want to store the preset
in.
There are 3 preset bands available.

Tune to the desired channel, press and
hold one of the preset buttons

store the channel.

Repeat the procedure to store up to 5
other channels
on
the same band.
NOTE:
• A total of
18
channels can
be
stored
in
the
preset memory, 6 channels for each band
(SXM1, SXM2, and SXM3).

To

desired
band of
presets
you wish
to
access.
2.
Press the preset button
(1-6)
that has
your
desired
radio channel stored to
memory.
SiriusXM Replay function
The Replay feature allows you to pause,
rewind, and replay live SiriusXM Satellite
Radio.
1.
While listening to a SiriusXM channel,
press the [
...
11]
button to enter Replay
mode. The display will show "PAUSE"
when entering this mode.
2.
Press the [
...
11]
button to resume playback
of the stored
audio
from the point at
which it was paused. During playback, the
SiriusXM Tuner will continue to store the
channel audio until you exit the Replay
mode.

• Fast rewind: Press and hold[...,..]

• To return to the beginning of the current
song press [...,..]
• To advance to the beginning of the next

NOTE:

If
you
continue
to
press

the
end,
the
Replay
mode
is
canceled,
and
the
unit
will
change
to
live
SiriusXM
radio
mode.
• If you change channels while
in
Replay
mode, the unit will exit Replay mode to
live Satellite mode and clear the Replay
memory.
Jump
to
Live
Long Press the

Press the
[MENU]
button while
in
SiriusXM
mode to access SiriusXM settings.
Category Browse
1.
Press and hold the
[BAND]
button to
activate the Category Browsing mode.
2. Rotate the
[VOLUME]
knob to select
desired Category.

channel
within
the
selected
Category.
You can see
channel
name,
Channel
Number,
Artist,
Song

or
Content Info by pressing
[DISP]

to
tune
to
selected channel.
Note:
If no operation
is
performed for 1
0 seconds,
the Category Browsing mode is canceled.
Parental Controls:
The
SiriusXM
Parental
Control
feature
allows you to prevent unauthorized access
to mature content channels. When enabled
the Parental Control feature requires you
to enter a passcode to tune to the locked
mature content channels. Information on
setting up the passcode, setting up the
mature content channels to be locked, and
the method to access the locked channels
is
described below.
Lock/UnLock
1. Short Press the
[MENU]
button to access
the SiriusXM Menu
2.
Press the [...,..] or
[..,....]
button to select
"MATURE CH".
3.
Rotate the
[VOLUME]
knob to select the
"LOCK" or "UNLOCK"
4.
Press the 1 - 6 buttons
to
enter passcode.
Parental Passcode
1.
Press the [MENU] button to access the
SirusXM Menu.
2.
Press the [...,.. ] or [
..,....]
button to select
"PARENTAL".
3.
Press the
[ENTERNolume]
button to
access the change passcode mode.
4.
Press
the
1-6
buttons
to
enter
Old
passcode and then the NEW passcode.
5.
To confirm the New passcode, enter it a
second time.
6.
If the passcode change
is
successful, the
LCD will display
"SUCCESSFUL"
NOTE:
The default passcode set for the Parental
lock
is
1111
.
Direct Tuning
1. Short Press the
[MENU]
button to access
the SiriusXM Direct Tuning
mode.
2.
Press the[...,..] or[..,....] buttons to change
· the digit location to rotate the
[VOLUME]
knob to change the number.
3.
Press
the
[MUTE]
button to confirm
channel number selection.
Changing the Display
Text information, such as the channel name,
artist name, song title and content info is
available with each SiriusXM channel. The
unit can display this text information as
explained below:
In
SiriusXM mode, press the [ D I S P ]
button. Each time you press this button, the
display changes
as
shown below:

This Clarion
product
purchased
from
an authorized Clarion dealer are warranted against all
defects
in materials
and
workmanship
for
a period
of
one
(1)
year
from
the
date
of
original
purchase
other
than
consumable
parts,
such
as
the
battery
pack,
which
are covered
for
6
months
from
the
date
of
purchase,
when
purchased
from
AND
installed
by
an authorized Clarion dealer.
All Clarion cables, wires and
other
accessories if purchased
from
an authorized Clarion dealer are warranted against
all
defects
in materials
and
workmanship
for
ninety (90)
days
unless
otherwise
specified
from
the
date
of
original
purchase.

OF
DATE
OF
PURCHASE
FROM
AN
AUTHORIZED
CLARION
DEALER
WILL
BE
REQUIRED
FOR
WARRANTY
SERVICE
OF
THIS
PRODUCT.
CENTERS
MAY
BE
OBTAINED
BY
CONTACTING
CLARION
AT
THE
ADDRESS
LISTED
BELOW.
2. This Limited Warranty will
become
void
if service
performed
by
anyone
other
than an
approved
Clarion Warranty
Service Center results in
damage
to
the
product.
3.
This Limited Warranty
does
not
apply
to
any
product
which
has been
subject
to
misuse, neglect
or
accident,
or
which
has
had
the
serial
number
altered,
defaced
or
removed,
or
which
has been
connected,
installed,
adjusted
or
repaired,
other
than in
accordance
with
the
instructions
furnished
by
Clarion.
4. This Limited Warranty
does
not
cover
car
static
or
other
electrical interferences,
tape
head
or
laser
pick-up
cleaning
or
adjustments,
or
labor
costs
for
the
removal
or
reinstallation
of
the
unit
for
repair.
5.
The sole responsibility
of
Clarion
under
this Limited Warranty shall
be
limited
to
the
repair
of
the
product
or
replacement
of
the
product,
at
the
sole discretion
of
Clarion.
6.
Product
must
be
shipped
in its original carton
or
equivalent carton, fully insured,
with
shipping charges prepaid.
Clarion will
not
assume any responsibility
for
any loss
or
damage
incurred in shipping.

OTHER
THAN
AN
AUTHORIZED
CLARION
DEALER,
