Safety
• Be very careful when emptying thepopped corn out of
theappliance. Holdtheappliance over thesink or other
appropriate area so that no excess oil drips on unwanted
areas or where it can cause burn damage. Liftthelidded
dome/bowl away from you when removing it from
theappliance. Becareful, thepopping pan becomes
veryhot.
• Theappliance may be used by children aged 8 or over
provided they have been instructed in thesafe use of
theappliance and that they fully understand thehazards or
risks involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Theappliance may be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capability, lack of experience or
knowledge which could jeopardise their safety, provided they
have been given proper supervision or instruction regarding
thesafe use of theproduct and understand any hazards
involved. Neverlet children play with theappliance.
• Keep theappliance and its mains lead out of reach of children
under theage of 8.
• Theappliance must only be connected to a220–240V, 50Hz
earthed outlet.
• Make sure that theplug is designed for and fits thewall
socket. Nevertry to modify theplug or use any kind of plug
adaptor.

• Thepopcorn maker must not be plugged into awall socket
controlled by any kind of time switch or remote control.
• Place theappliance on afirm, level surface where there is no
risk of it tippingover.
• Always turn off theappliance before pulling out theplug.
• Never place theappliance on hobs or in ovens or freezers.
• Always unplug theappliance from thepower point when it is
not inuse.
• Theappliance is only intended for normal domestic use and
only in themanner described in this instruction manual.
• Never immerse theappliance, its mains lead or plug in water
or other liquid.
• Children should be kept under continuous supervision if they
are in close proximity to theappliance while it is inuse.
• Never use theappliance if it or themains lead has been
damaged in anyway.
• Never attempt to dismantle or modify theappliance in anyway.
• Never use accessories which are not approved by
themanufacturer or retailer.
• Theappliance is intended for indoor useonly.
• Do not let themains lead hang over theedge of thetable or
counter. Donot let themains lead come into contact with
sharp edges or hot surfaces.
• Repairs should only be carried out by qualified tradesmen.

Operating instructions
Before initialuse
1. Remove all packaging.
2. Wipe thepopping pan with amoist cloth and wash thedome/bowl and lid in some
warm water with alittle washing-up liquid.
3. Unscrew thecentre knob (5) and thestirring rod (4) and wash themboth.
Refitthem and screw themtight.
4. When theappliance is used for thefirst time, thepopping pan may emit aslight
odour and asmall amount ofsmoke. Thisis completely normal.

Popping procedure
Note:
• Never leave theappliance unattended duringuse.
• Always turn off theappliance and unplug it once you have finished usingit.
• Avoid moving theappliance if it contains hot oil as doing so may causeburns.
Lettheappliance cool properly before trying to moveit.
• Never try to use theappliance withoutoil.
• Theappliance becomes hot duringuse. Onlytouch thehandles while it is inuse.
• Theappliance does not switch off automatically. Toavoid overheating
theappliance, add oil and popcorn first before plugging it in and turning iton.
• Allow theappliance to rest for 20 minutes between poppings, otherwise
theoverheating protection device might switch theappliance off and prevent it
from heatingup.
1. Place theappliance on ahard and level surface.
2. Remove thedome/bowl.
3. Pour in therecommended amount of oil into thepan. Donot exceed
therecommended amount. Referto thetablebelow. Donot use butter or
margarine.
4. Pour only therecommended amount of popcorn into thepan. Donot exceed
therecommended amount. Referto thetablebelow.

5. Thelid (1) must not be placed on top of thedome/bowl while thekernels are
popping. Thisopening needs to remain open in order to release steam during
popping.
6. Plug theappliance into awall socket and switch iton. Thestirring rod will continue
rotating as long as theappliance is turnedon. Donot shake theappliance while
popping is in progress. Neverleave theappliance unattended during popping
otherwise you will risk burning your popcorn.
7. Immediately turn off theappliance and pull out theplug after popping has been
completed.
8. Securely replace thelid (1) onto thedome/bowl. Gripthehandles firmly and
turn theappliance upsidedown. Note: Becareful, thepopping pan becomes
veryhot.
9. Lift theappliance off thedome/bowl. Onceflipped over, thepopping dome is
transformed into aservingbowl.
10. Do not allow any popcorn kernels to remain on thepopping pan as these will burn
onto thepan if left standing.

Care, maintenance and storage
• Always unplug thelead from thepower point and let theappliance cool down
properly before cleaningit.
• Wash thedome/bowl, lid, stirring rod, centre knob and popping pan by hand using
mild washing-up liquid, never use solvents or corrosive chemicals. Neveruse metal
utensils for cleaning thepoppingpan. Doingso will damage thenon-stick coating.
• Clean theexterior of theappliance with adampcloth. Useonly mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals. Neverimmerse thebase of
theappliance in water or any other type of liquid.
• No parts of theappliance are dishwashersafe. Handwashonly.
• Once cleaned, theappliance should be stored in adry, dust-free area out of
children’sreach.

Responsible disposal

Användning
Före första användning
1. Ta bort allt förpackningsmaterial.
2. Torka av pannan med enfuktig trasa och diska skålen och locket iljummet vatten
med diskmedel.
3. Skruva även bort hållaren (5) till omröraren (4) och diska båda delarna. Sättsedan
tillbaka democh skruva fast demordentligt.
4. När du använder maskinen första gången kan det lukta lite och ryka lätt från
pannan. Dettaär helt normalt.
