Popping procedure
Note:
• Never leave theappliance unattended duringuse.
• Always turn off theappliance and unplug it once you have finished usingit.
• Avoid moving theappliance if it contains hot oil as doing so may causeburns.
Lettheappliance cool properly before trying to moveit.
• Never try to use theappliance withoutoil.
• Theappliance becomes hot duringuse. Onlytouch thehandles while it is inuse.
• Theappliance does not switch off automatically. Toavoid overheating
theappliance, add oil and popcorn first before plugging it in and turning iton.
• Allow theappliance to rest for 20 minutes between poppings, otherwise
theoverheating protection device might switch theappliance off and prevent it
from heatingup.
1. Place theappliance on ahard and level surface.
2. Remove thedome/bowl.
3. Pour in therecommended amount of oil into thepan. Donot exceed
therecommended amount. Referto thetablebelow. Donot use butter or
margarine.
4. Pour only therecommended amount of popcorn into thepan. Donot exceed
therecommended amount. Referto thetablebelow.

5. Thelid (1) must not be placed on top of thedome/bowl while thekernels are
popping. Thisopening needs to remain open in order to release steam during
popping.
6. Plug theappliance into awall socket and switch iton. Thestirring rod will continue
rotating as long as theappliance is turnedon. Donot shake theappliance while
popping is in progress. Neverleave theappliance unattended during popping
otherwise you will risk burning your popcorn.
7. Immediately turn off theappliance and pull out theplug after popping has been
completed.
8. Securely replace thelid (1) onto thedome/bowl. Gripthehandles firmly and
turn theappliance upsidedown. Note: Becareful, thepopping pan becomes
veryhot.
9. Lift theappliance off thedome/bowl. Onceflipped over, thepopping dome is
transformed into aservingbowl.
10. Do not allow any popcorn kernels to remain on thepopping pan as these will burn
onto thepan if left standing.
