DAB+ Clock Radio

Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save

Safety
• Theclock radio should not be taken apart or modified. Nevertry to open
thecasing of theclockradio. Thecasing houses dangerous current-carrying
non-insulated components. Contact with these can lead to fire or electricshock.
• Do not cover theclockradio. Adequate ventilation, with adistance of at least
10cm between ventilation ports and surrounding surfaces, is necessary to prevent
theclock radio from overheating.
• Theclock radio must only be connected to a100–240 V, 50/60 Hz electrical supply.
• Make sure that thewall socket to which themains adaptor is connected is easily
accessible, since this is theonly way to completely disconnect theclock radio from
themains supply.
• Place theclock radio on astable, flat surface.
• Never place any form of naked flames (wax candles, tea lights,etc.) on or close to
theclockradio.
• Do not place theclock radio where there is arisk of it falling into water or other liquid.
Donot place any objects which contain liquid onto theclock radio such as vases,
drinks,etc.
• Do not place theclock radio in constant sunlight or near naked flames such as
wood stoves, lit candles,etc.
• Place theclock radio in such away that there is no risk of people tripping over its
mainslead.
• Theclock radio is designed for indoor useonly.
• Never subject theclock radio to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts,
humidity or moisture.
• Do not abuse themainslead. Donot jerk themains lead, grip and pull theadapter
out of thesocket when disconnecting theclockradio. Makesure that themains
adaptor does not come into contact with heat, sharp edges or is crushed in anyway.
• Unplug themains adaptor during thunderstorms or if theclock radio is not to be
used for alongtime.
• Thestandby switch on theclock radio does not completely disconnect it from
themains. Tocompletely disconnect theclock radio from themains, themains
adaptor must be unplugged from thewall socket.
• Remember always to protect your hearing. Listening on high volume for prolonged
periods can lead to permanent hearingloss.
• Do not use theclock radio if it or its mains lead is damaged in anyway.
• Theclock radio must only be repaired by qualified service technicians.
