operating and maintaining network equipment. The guide assumes a

Protocol (IP), the Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) and

Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP)
1. General IGMP Configuration
oNavigate to Multicast->IGMP Snooping - > General
oEnable IGMP Snooping Status
oEnable Querier Status
oClick Apply

2. Per VLAN IGMP Configuration
oNavigate to Multicast->IGMP Snooping - > Interface
oChoose Action: Configure VLAN
oChoose the VLAN that the Crestron devices will use. By default this is 1
oEnable IGMP Snooping Status
oEnable Immediate Leave Status and select By-Group
oEnable Multicast Router Discovery
oQuery Interval: 15
oProxy (Query) Address: 10.0.1.1

Quality of Service (QoS)
1. Configure Trust Mode
oNavigate to Traffic-> Priority - > Trust Mode
oChoose Trust Mode: DSCP on all the ports that will have Crestron devices
connected

2. Configure DSCP to Queue Settings
oNavigate to Traffic-> Priority - > DSCP to Queue
oEnter Queue 2 for DSCP 8
oEnter Queue 6 for DSCP 32
oEnter Queue 6 for DSCP 46
oLeave Queue 7for DSCP 56
oEnter Queue 0for all other DSCP values

Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE)
1. Disable Energy Efficient Ethernet
oNavigate to Interface->Green Ethernet
oDisable Power Saving Status on all the ports that will have Crestron devices
connected.
