2. Installation of the threaded rod WDK-M

Threaded tube Extension Ring plate
• Screw the threaded tube in the recess tube 
using a SW27 socket wrench.
• Attach necessary extension onto the threaded tube.
• Attach the ring plate to the threaded tube or the extensions.
• Preset the distance (b) by turning the threaded tube.

1. Installation of the WDK-E installation component
Recess tube Extension

• The recess tube (if necessary with extension ) is cast
into the concrete at the specified position with the larger
pipe diameter towards the outer-surface of the façade panel.
• The recess tube can be shortened by up to 20mm at the
back of the panel if the panel thickness is less than 100mm.
• Extensions are required for the recess tube if the panel thick-
ness is greater than 120 mm.

3. Align the façade panel and drill the required hole
• Align the façade panel.
• Drilling: Drill a bore hole through the
threaded tube into the concrete.
Drill diameter 12 mm
Avoid damaging the plastic parts!
Clamp a square piece of timber between
the façade panel and the concrete.


4. Installing of the mortar capsule
and the anchor rod
• Clean the bore hole and insert the mortar capsule 
(→ see also next page: „Cleaning“)
Anchor bolt M10 thread (stainless steel A4)
Mortar capsule
• Drive in anchor rod using a hammer
drill with the provided setting tool.



6. Close the recess
• Close the recess tube with plug or.

Cleaning
• Clean the drill hole by using a blow-out pump
and then use a cleaning-brush to remove any dust .
Then repeat this procedure ( and ).
• The cleaning brush and blow-out pump are ordered separately.

5. Final Assembly
• Screw the nut and washer loosely onto the anchor rod.
• Adjust the distance (b) by turning the threaded tube 
with a socket wrench.
• After curing tighten the nut and washer with a torque
of 20 Nm.
If more than two extensions are used, additional spacer bolts (e.g. DS13) must be installed at a distance
of approximately 15–30 cm from the WDK.

Gewinderohr Verlängerungsstück Ringplatte
• Gewinderohr mittels Steckschlüssel SW27 in das
Aussparungsrohr eingeschrauben.
• Eventuell erforderliche Verlängerungsstücke auf
das Gewinderohr aufstecken.
• Ringplatte auf das Gewinderohr bzw. Verlängerungsstück
aufstecken.
• Wandabstand (b) durch Drehen des Gewinderohrs einstellen.

1. Montage des Einbauteils WDK-E
Aussparungsrohr Verlängerungsstück

• Aussparungsrohr (ggf. mit Verlängerungsstück )
an der vorgesehenen Position mit dem größeren Rohrdurch-
messer nach Außen in das Fassadenelement einbetonieren.
• Bei Plattenstärken f <100mm kann das Aussparungsrohr 
am innen liegenden Ende bis zu 20mm gekürzt werden.
• Bei Plattenstärken >120 mm müssen zusätzliche Verlänge-
rungsstücke für das Aussparungsrohr verwendet werden.

3. Fassadenplatte ausrichten und Bohrloch herstellen
• Fassadenplatte ausrichten.
• Bohren:Durch das Gewinderohr ein Loch in den
Ortbeton bohren.
Bohrer 12 mm
Kunststoffteile nicht beschädigen!
Beispielsweise kann ein Kantholz zwischen
Element und Ortbeton als Puffer einklemmt
werden.


4. Montage Mörtelpatrone und Ankerstange
• Bohrloch säubern und Mörtelpatrone einführen
(→ siehe Darstellung „Säubern“ auf der folgenden Seite)
Ankerstange Gewinde M10 (Edelstahl A4)
Mörtelpatrone
• Ankerstange mit Schlagbohrmaschine und
mitgeliefertem Setzwerkzeug eintreiben.



• Aussparungsrohr mit Stopfen oder verschließen.

Säubern
• Das Bohrloch reinigen durch Ausblasen mit einer Ausblaspumpe
und durch anschließendes Ausbürsten mit einer Reinigungsbürste .
Diesen Vorgang anschließend wiederholen ( und ).
• Ausblaspumpe und Reinigungsbürste bitte separat bestellen.

5. Abschliessende Montage
• Unterlegscheibe und Mutter lose aufdrehen.
• Wandabstand (b) durch drehen des Gewinderohrs 
mittels Steckschlüssel einstellen.
• Nach Erhärten des Mörtels im Bohrloch Mutter
mit 20 Nm anziehen.
Bei Verwendung von mehr als zwei Verlängerungsstücken , müssen zusätzliche Abstandsschrauben
(z. B. DS13) im Abstand von ca. 15–30 cm vom WDK, zur Druckaufnahme herangezogen werden.
