Important information
Please read the following instructions and information carefully
before using your new helmet for the first time. This helmet was
developed for use with skateboards, inline skates, roller skates and
similar groups, and manufactured according to state of the art.
Despite maximum safety standards, serious accidents may result in
injuries. In some cases, the impact may be so strong the helmet does
not effectively protect the rider from head injuries.
Compliance with the requirements according to Annex II of European
Directive 89/686/EEC (and subsequent amendments) as well as
those of harmonizing technical standard EN 1078 was certified by
the issuing authority TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH, Tillystr. 2,
D-90431 Nürnberg, Germany, Notified Body No 0197.

Correct use
This article is made for skateboarders, inline skaters, rollerbladers,
and similar groups. It is not suitable for other sports or for motorcy-
clists.
Safety notices
• This helmet should not be used by children for climbing or other
activities where there is a risk of strangulation or of catching should
the child get caught with the helmet.
• The helmet must fit snugly and the chin strap must be securely
fastened.
• Do not push the helmet to the back of your neck as this means that
your forehead is not protected.
• Do not wear any head cover under the helmet.
• Please ensure that air continues to circulate.
• No modifications may be made to the helmet, its structure, or indivi-
dual components.

• The helmet may not be painted and/or decorated with stickers or
labels.
• The protective effect of the helmet can be seriously impaired by the
effects of paints, stickers, cleaning fluids, or other solvents.
• The helmet should protect your head in the event of an impact. This
protection is no longer provided even after a single impact (even
if it is light). Therefore the helmet must be replaced immediately
after an accident even if there is no visible damage.
• Never use solvents or scouring agents that contain petroleum to
clean the helmet, either on the outside or the inside. Always use a
detergent that is pH neutral and diluted with clear water; rub the
article carefully with a soft cloth. Then wipe it dry with a lint-free
cloth. The padding can be cleaned with a little soap and a soft
brush.
• Only use original replacement parts for your helmet.
• The LED light is not a safety aid and on no account replaces the
specific devices that are compulsory in accordance with traffic
regulations.
• The lifespan of the article depends on its use. However the article
must be replaced five years after the date of manufacture
(version: 01/2017) at the latest.

Warning notes for batteries
• Only use batteries from the same manufacturer and of the same
type.
• Remove the battery if it is dead or if the product is not used for a
long period. (See the disposal measures on page 14).
• Warning! Batteries may not be charged or reactivated by other
means and may not be dismantled, thrown in the fire, or short-
circuited.
• Always store the batteries out of the reach of children.
• Non-rechargeable batteries may not be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries may only be charged with adult
supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the article before
they are charged.
• The terminal clamps may not be short-circuited.
Danger!
• Please handle a damaged or dead battery with extreme care and
dispose of it correctly, wearing gloves.
• If you come into contact with battery acid then wash the relevant
area with water and soap. If battery acid gets in your eyes rinse it
out using water and consult a doctor immediately!
•Cleaning and user-maintenance may not be carried out by
children without supervision.
•Batteries may not be swallowed!

Changing the battery
CAUTION! Follow these instructions in order to avoid mechanical
and electrical damage.
Danger!
The article contains a battery.
If the battery stops working it can be changed.
1. Set the size adjustment system to a medium size. Pull the rotary
knob out of the size adjustment system and remove the small
thread wheel.
2. Loosen the three screws under the rotary knob using a suitable
screwdriver (not included in the scope of delivery) (figure E).
Remove the base and take the battery compartment out. Carefully
remove the empty battery from the battery holder (figure F).
3. Exchange it for a new battery.
Note: Pay attention to the plus and minus poles on the battery and
that it is inserted correctly. The battery must be fitted entirely inside
the battery holder.
4. Replace the battery holder in the rotary knob. Replace the base
and tighten the three screws. Place the thread wheel on the rotary
knob as shown. Please ensure that the three pins on the rotary
knob are positioned in the slots on the thread wheel (figure G).
Insert the rotary knob back on the size adjustment system.
Important: When you insert the rotary knob please ensure that the
size adjustment system is set to a medium size as it is not possible to
re-attach the rotary knob otherwise (figure G).

Switching the light on and off (figure A)
Different light settings are available to you if you press on the on and
off button (4):
Press once: lights on
Press twice: lights flash at the same time
Press three times: lights flash alternately
Press four times: lights off

ADAPTIVE Thermal control
Feel good all over. The textile will cool you down when you’re hot,
and keep you dry longer in cold weather. Cools and minimises
perspiration.
The helmet liner contains a biocide agent (PURE TF by HeiQ®) for
an anti-bacterial, odour-inhibiting lining treatment. Active ingredient:
silver adsorbed to silicon dioxide (nano).

Selecting the helmet size
• Measure the size of your head and select the appropriate size.
Try several helmets on before making your decision. The size is
ideal if the skin on your temples moves with the article when you
are wearing the helmet.
• Please ensure that the helmet does not move freely on your head,
even without tightening the chin strap.
• The chin strap must be securely closed to ensure a secure fit.
The fit is correct if it is difficult to insert your finger under the chin
strap. However you must always be able to breathe, swallow, and
turn your head comfortably.
• The helmet fits correctly if it is snug but still comfortable on your
head. Do not push the helmet towards the back of your neck as this
means that your forehead will not be protected (figure B).
• If the helmet is too big (it is loose and cannot be adjusted tightly
enough) or too small (presses on your head, leaves your forehead
free), please choose the next smallest or biggest size.
• If it is not possible to adjust the helmet correctly then you may not
use it.
Adjusting the chin strap (figure C)
The general length of the chin strap can be adjusted with the loop.
You may also use the strap divider clip to adjust the length of the chin
strap.

Please ensure that the strap divider does not bother you, the straps
do not cover your ears, and the fastener does not rest on your chin.
Adjusting the headband size (figure D)
Use the continuously adjustable rotary knob to fit your helmet to your
head circumference to ensure the optimum fit. Turn the knob to the
right to make the helmet headband smaller and to the left to enlarge
the headband.
Maintenance and care
Regular maintenance and care contribute to the safety and durability
of the helmet.
• Always use a detergent that is pH neutral and diluted with clear
water; rub the article carefully with a soft cloth. Then wipe it dry

Storage
Store the helmet in a dry, well ventilated location at room tempera-
ture when not in use. Avoid heat sources.
Notes on disposal
Dispose of the article and the packaging materials in accordance
with current local regulations. Packaging materials such as foil bags
are not suitable to be given to children. Keep the packaging materi-
als out of the reach of children.
Devices that are marked with this symbol may not be disposed
of with domestic waste. You are obliged to dispose of used
electrical and electronic devices separately. Please ask your
local authority about the facilities for correct disposal. Remove the
battery from the article before disposing of it.
Disposal measures for batteries
Please note: As batteries are hazardous waste they may not
be disposed of with domestic waste by law. You can hand over
used batteries to local authority collection points or at your
retailer free of charge. Special collection containers are available
there for this purpose.

3 Years Warranty
The product was produced with great care and under constant
supervision. You receive a three-year warranty for this product from
the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt.
The warranty applies only to material and workmanship and does
not apply to misuse or improper handling. Your statutory rights, espe-
cially the warranty rights, are not affected by this warranty.
With regard to complaints, please contact the following service
hotline or contact us by e-mail. Our service employees will advise
as to the subsequent procedure as quickly as possible. We will be
personally available to discuss the situation with you.
Any repairs under the warranty, statutory guarantees or through
goodwill do not extend the warranty period. This also applies to
replaced and repaired parts. Repairs after the warranty are subject
to a charge.

nouveau casque. Ce casque a été conçu pour une utilisation avec
un skate-board, des rollers, des patins à roulettes et autres activités
sportives similaires, et confectionné conformément aux techniques les
plus récentes. Malgré les standards de sécurité les plus élevés, des
blessures peuvent être causées lors d’accidents graves.
Dans certains cas, le choc peut être si violent que le casque peut
ne pas suffisamment protéger le conducteur contre des blessures à
la tête. La conformité avec l’annexe II de la directive européenne

Utilisation conforme
Cet article est conçu pour les utilisateurs de skate, patins en ligne et
quad, et autres groupes similaires. Il ne convient pas pour d‘autres
types de sports ou les motocyclistes.
Consignes de sécurité
• Les enfants ne doivent pas utiliser ce casque pour l‘escalade ou
d‘autres activités lorsqu‘il existe un risque de s‘étrangler/de rester
accrocher si le casque restait coincé.
• Le casque doit être bien ajusté et la jugulaire fermement serrée.
• Ne repoussez pas le casque vers la nuque, sinon votre front n‘est
pas protégé.
• Ne portez rien en dessous du casque.
• Veillez à ce que rien n‘empêche l‘air de circuler.

• Ne modifiez pas votre casque, ni dans sa structure ni dans ses
composants.
• Le casque ne doit pas être peint et/ou recouvert d‘autocollants ou
d‘étiquettes.
• L‘effet protecteur du casque peut être sérieusement entravé par les
laques, autocollants, liquides de nettoyage ou autres solvants.
• Le casque est conçu pour protéger la tête en cas d‘accident.
Après un seul impact (même léger) cette protection n‘est plus
garantie. C‘est pourquoi le casque doit être remplacé immédiate-
ment après un accident, même s‘il ne révèle aucun dommage
visible.
• N‘utilisez jamais de solvant ou de produit à récurer à base de
pétrole pour nettoyer le casque, pour la partie extérieure comme
intérieure. Utilisez toujours un détergent à pH neutre dilué dans de
l‘eau claire ; frottez doucement avec un chiffon doux.
Séchez-le ensuite avec un chiffon non pelucheux. Vous pouvez
nettoyer le rembourrage intérieur avec un peu de savon et une
brosse pas trop dure.
• N‘utilisez que des pièces de rechange d‘origine pour votre casque.
• L‘ampoule LED n‘est pas un dispositif de sécurité et ne remplace en
aucun cas les dispositifs obligatoires spécifiés dans les règlements
sur la circulation.
• La durée de vie de l‘article dépendra de son utilisation.
Cependant, l‘article doit être remplacé au plus tard cinq ans après
sa date de fabrication (Version : 01/2017).

Avertissement concernant les piles
• N‘utilisez que des piles du même fabricant et du même type
• Retirez la pile lorsqu‘elle est déchargée ou lorsque vous n‘utilisez
pas le produit pendant une longue période (voir les mesures
d‘élimination page 24).
•Mise en garde ! Les piles ne doivent pas être rechargées ou
réactivées par d‘autres moyens. Elles ne doivent pas être ouvertes
ou jetées au feu ou encore court-circuitées.
•Tenez les piles hors de la portée des enfants.
•Les piles non rechargeables ne peuvent pas être rechargées.
•Les piles rechargeables doivent être rechargées uniquement sous la
surveillance des adultes.
•Les piles rechargeables doivent être retirées du produit avant d‘être
rechargées.
•Les bornes ne doivent pas être court-circuitées. Danger !
•Ne manipulez une pile endommagée ou qui fuit qu‘avec le plus
grand soin, en portant des gants, et jetez-la immédiatement confor-
mément aux règlements.
• Si votre peau entre en contact avec l‘acide de la pile, lavez la
zone touchée avec de l‘eau et du savon. Si de l‘acide de la pile est
projeté dans vos yeux, rincez-lez avec de l‘eau et consultez immé-
diatement un médecin !
•Le nettoyage et l‘entretien relevant de l‘utilisateur ne doivent pas
être effectués par des enfants sans surveillance.
•Les piles ne doivent pas être avalées !

Changement des piles
ATTENTION ! Respectez les consignes suivantes pour éviter tout
dommage mécanique ou électrique.
Danger !
Une pile est déjà installée dans l‘article.
Si la pile ne fonctionne plus, il suffit de la changer.
1. Placez le système de réglage de la taille à une distance moyenne.
Sortez la molette du système de réglage de la taille et retirez la
petite roue filetée.
2. Dévissez les trois vis situées sur le dessous de la molette avec un
tournevis adapté (non compris dans la livraison) (fig. E).
Enlevez le dessous et le logement à piles. Retirez prudemment la
pile vide du compartiment à piles (fig. F).
3. Remplacez-la par une pile neuve.
Indication : respectez les polarités plus/moins de la pile et veillez
à une insertion correcte. La pile doit se trouver entièrement dans le
compartiment à piles.
4. Insérez de nouveau le logement à piles dans la molette. Emboîtez
le dessous et fixez les trois vis. Placez la petite roue filetée sur la
molette comme montré. Veillez à ce que les trois tiges de la molet-
te soient positionnées dans les logements de la petite roue filetée
(fig. G). Replacez de nouveau la molette dans le système de
réglage de la taille.

Important : lors de l‘insertion de la molette, faites attention à ce
que le système de réglage de la taille se trouve à une distance mo-
yenne sinon la molette risque de ne pas s‘emboîter (fig. G).
Allumer et éteindre la lumière (fig. A)
Le bouton Marche/Arrêt vous donne accès à différents réglages de
la lumière (4) :
1 x pression, la lumière s‘allume
2 x pressions, les lumières clignotent simultanément
3 x pressions, les lumières clignotent en alternance
4 x pressions, la lumière s‘éteint

Thermorégulation ADAPTIVE
Pour un bien-être total. Le textile vous rafraîchit lorsque vous avez
chaud et vous maintient au sec quand il fait froid. Rafraîchit et réduit
la formation de sueur.
Le rembourrage intérieur du casque contient un agent biocide
(PURE TF by HeiQ®) agissant comme traitement antibactérien du
rembourrage. Agent actif : argent adsorbé sur dioxyde de silicium
(nano).

Le choix de la taille du casque
• Mesurez la circonférence de la tête et sélectionnez la taille du
casque en fonction de celle-ci. Essayez plusieurs casques avant
de vous décider. Lorsque le casque est bien ajusté, la peau des
tempes bouge avec lui.
• Assurez-vous que le casque n‘a pas trop de jeu sur la tête même
lorsque la jugulaire n‘est pas fermée.
• Pour un bon ajustement, la jugulaire doit être bien serrée. Il est bien
ajusté lorsque vous avez du mal à glisser un doigt sous la jugulaire.
Mais vous devez encore pouvoir respirer, avaler et tourner la tête
confortablement.
• Le casque est bien ajusté quand il enserre bien la tête tout en
restant confortable. Ne repoussez pas le casque vers la nuque,
sinon votre front n‘est pas protégé (Fig. B).
• Si le casque est trop grand (n‘est pas stable, ne peut être ajusté
assez fermement) ou trop petit (serre, ne couvre pas le front),
veuillez choisir un casque dans une taille inférieure ou supérieure.
• Si vous ne parvenez pas à ajuster le casque correctement, ne
l‘utilisez pas.
Ajustement de la jugulaire (Fig. C)
Vous pouvez régler la longueur de la jugulaire à l‘aide de la boucle.
Avec le clip diviseur de sangle vous pouvez aussi influer sur la
longueur de la jugulaire.
