The Probe is a clamp-on AC c rrent probe that is designed and tested according to EN
61010-1:2002 and EN 61010-2-032:2002 (Overvoltage Category IV), Safety Req ire-
ments for Hand-held C rrent Clamps for Electrical Meas rement and Test, the EMC
Directive (EN 61326-1:2006 and EN 61326-2-2:2006), and other safety standards (see
“Safety Specifications”).
Warning
Before sing this Meter, read the following safety information caref lly. If the Meter is not
sed as described in the man al, the safety feat res of the Meter might be severely im-
paired.
Observe the International Electrical Symbols listed below.

• Never se the Probe on circ its with voltages higher than 600V rms
• Keep yo r fingers behind the barrier (hand g ard)
• Be extremely ca tio s when clamping aro nd nins lated cond ctors or b s bars.
Accidental contact with the cond ctor co ld res lt in electric shock.
• Check s rface of the Probe jaws; these sho ld be free of d st, r st, dirt, and other
foreign matter.
• Never se a Probe whose ins lating protection has been impaired. S ch probes
sho ld be made inoperative by taping the clamp sh t in order to prevent operation.
CS provides a warranty for this prod ct of 12 months covering the material and workmanship
nder the stated operating conditions from the date of delivery.
Please report any findings immediately and within the warranty time g aranteed by s.
Excl ded from this warranty is damage ca sed by improper se and non-adherence to the
instr ction man al.
The warranty is also cancelled once the meas ring instr ment has been opened provided this
is not described in the instr ction man al for maintenance p rposes. This is also the case if the
serial n mber has been changed, damaged or removed.
If in addition to the warranty service necessary repairs, adj stments or similar are carried o t,
the warranty services are free of charge b t there is a charge for other services s ch as trans-
port and packing costs. Other claims, especially those for damage occ rring o tside the instr -
ment are not incl ded nless responsibility is legally binding.

Operation Instructions
1）Connect the c rrent sensor to one of DS 300 portable analog inp t terminals.
1) Center the single cond ctor inside the Probe jaws.
2) Make s re the Probe is perpendic lar to the cond ctor.
3) Make s re the probe jaws are closed completely.
4) Avoid meas rements, if possible, close to other c rrent carrying cond ctors.
